So what constitutes a review?

That a pandora’s box question and responses from Forum members will undoubtedly be all over the place.  This may be a good time for a moderator(s)to give the definitive answer.

It’s my personal belief that every response to an escort 411 request for information is a “mini” review.  Of late, I try to speak in generalities when responding to these types of requests.  It’s a fine line, @Lovecraft58!

As a new member of the forum, I welcome guidance on this issue from the moderator(s) as to what I can and can not put in a reply to a 411 on a specific escort.  For instance, can I state whether the photos are accurate, the encounter was enjoyable or the escort met my expectations without going into specifics?

In my completely non-legalese understanding, technically customers are paying for the provider's time. So I guess it is fine to say whether photos are accurate, whether the time spent was generally enjoyable or not, and whether you can recommend him.

I tend to take the more free approach - going so far as generalities of "it was a good experience, would repeat..." and will answer specific questions.  For example, "did he top?" "Was he aggressive?" "Did you kiss?".

But won't go so far as "I walked in and he shoved me against the wall, grabbed my balls with a hard grip, kissed me passionately, and was leaking precum before he even said hello..."

Aw, come on man, tell us more!

I try to follow the 'HR' rule on 411 threads.  I'd confirm if I've met a provider and if he matches his profile.  If there were problems I'd mention that I'd be cautious about engaging him, but leave anything beyond that to PMs.

The old forum maintained a strict demarcation with the review site.  This allowed the policy of allowing the providers to have the benefit of the final response on a review (when called for).  It was believed that allowing reviews in the forum for open discussion would be potentially destructive to both the review site and the forum, and I agree with that assessment.

The new review database is live, or should be soon.  I think it still needs work, but it's a start.

@DynamicUno Cool. Keep us posted when the new review site is available. Will it have a different name?

I'm neither a moderator nor a maintainer for this site, so I don't have any insight or responsiblity to officially announce site policies or feature updates.  You can find all discussion for that in the 'Announcements' subforums.

The new reviews section and a link to the legacy site are right in the top menu.

Whatever the official policy is, assuming that there even is one, when I ask about an escort, all that I'm looking for is whether the ad is reasonably honest and whether the escort is legit, as opposed to a scam artist or whatever. Whether the client had a good time is largely irrelevant for me, because we are all looking for something different. For example, I often see folks claim that the escort looks better than his pictures. Well, that's entirely a subjective judgment, and I know from experience that I might not feel the same way.

Going into great detail about a meet-up constitutes a full review and is a no-no on the forum. As @DynamicUno mentioned above, the old review site can be accessed still and the new review site is forthcoming.

By previous standards, if someone said I met XYZ, the meet-up went well (or bad), pm me for details... is perfectly fine. With new management, I haven't seen anything suggesting that that type of lite review is against forum policy.

One caveat being, Daddy used to have a restriction about submitting a review past a certain timeline. So it seemed stories (reviews) about encounters from long past that timeline were ok to recount. Recent long form reviews were a no-no.

What is the point of this forum if members can’t post reviews?

You can make comments and share an opinion (good or bad) but for the sake of privacy to the provider this is not the place to discuss the details of your encounter.

" I met so-and-so last week for an erotic massage and must say it was money well spent" is an opinion.

"I met so-and-so last week for an erotic massage and he started sucking my cock so well I came three times....I am going back for a hot pounding next week" is a NO NO.
