Anyone watch Season 3 premiere yesterday? I liked it…could criticize a few things but was an enjoyable hour of TV.

I wish i'd skimmed the last episode of Season 2 before starting Season 3. They pick up in the middle of the panic without any reminder what's happening and why. (no, it's not just age).

Just finished S3. Not sure where it will zig or zag when it picks up!! Impressive writing, acting and directing.

Pop getting half a million per episode is outrageous. All he does is sit and make a few comments. Strong deserves a lot more.

First episode sets up the war that should get increasingly heated throughout this final season.

It was good to see some truly serious moments between Shiv and Tom at the end.  It was genuinely sad watching the two of them deal with the relationship breaking apart.

The location and set design remain gorgeous wealth porn.

Read  an article which claims Apple doesn't allow TV villains or movie bad guys to have Iphones. All the Roy children have Iphones. Tom, estranged husband of daughter Shiv, does not.  He has a Samsung Galaxy.  Is this a hint as to how the series ends?  In the end, does the bad guy turn out to be Tom?  Hummmm..........

well that was unexpected but sort of a cheap trick to reverse the story. 

 

I always think of Brian Cox as the pedophile who got all the young guys in that movie L.I.E.

The kids hated their father but really miss him now that he is gone. How many real families are like that? Liked the chemistry developing between Shiv and Matteson. Tom really seems lost and sad. A duck out of water. I enjoy the kids trying to work together, Shiv trying hard not to be left out. The Swedish former ski jumper is kinda hot. Scenery is lovely. Hoping to see more of Marcia?, Logan Roy's widow in future episodes. She is a favorite.

The NYT had a great interview with Cox recently. He said he was fine not doing the show, as he's got a West End run coming up.

Methinks he's not hurting for roles or money.

That was a great Times story. I liked his take on what he thought of, "His children." I just wondered if contractually he gets the season or not. He won't make that kind of money on the London Stage.

I guess that's why he got $500K an episode vs $350K for the others. 

I suspect Kerry is the big story and she may be pregnant. That could be drama and even include a further directive from Logan. Shiv could even be pregnant. Maybe from Maatson !

For all these people why is there not one gay one? Roman should have been the logical gay character. Maybe he will be after all but why would he keep it secret? Is gay bad?
