Exactly. There are many NYC video stores with booth that have gloryholes. Last time I was in NYC awhile ago 2004 I couldn't find a single one! The peepshows in the bookstores all had security guards and cameras and not a hole to be found.

There’s a place on 14th near Union Square. Another on 40th near Times Square. Another a few blocks up on 8th Avenue. Those are just off the top of my head. I am sure that there are more.

Yes, there are perhaps more places where there are the infamous glory holes, but from your post, I'm reading general vs specific areas.  As a visitor to "The Big Apple," I'd go to the general area and "WOULD NOT KNOW" how to navigate for lack of specific-named venues or specific addresses.

The first time I saw a glory hole, I was a 29-year old deputy fire marshal and was inspecting an adult video arcade.
