Watching this massage video (has some sensual moments) and hearing the radio and the background noises remind me of the noises and music I can't stand during a massage:

  • Street noises and car horns: I was having a great session with https://rentmasseur.com/Johnsport in his then UWS apartment on a Sunday when double street parking was permitted. Midway an ambulance arrived, siren included, and stopped under the window. As it stayed there, the cars piling up behind began sounding their horns to a point that we had to finish the session there and then. It lasted like 20 minutes.
  • constant sniffling, the masseur not blowing his nose
  • TV on
  • Commercial radio on
  • Celtic music
  • Celine Dion
  • ? barking

Please share your nightmarish experiences with noises.

Well I agree that street noises do suck, most apartments in New York City Are not soundproof. Especially the ones that providers usually reside at.

I would always expect a trade off between location (in cities), and street noise. However that can be mitigated with the white noise machine, or music.

I would add farting to the list of unpleasant sounds, Though sometimes it is just a result of body to body rub, in which case it's comical.

And if the provider is playing music that is not relaxing, that is usually a red flag

Noises out of masseur control like street noise don't bother me. One turn off was constant sniffling of nose. It made me wonder is wiping his nose with hand then continuing massage.

Did he offer to share the coke with you? ;)

Going to the bathroom because you have the runs. I had one masseur to left room twice and second time, took forever. He extended my time, but the sound and lingering smell killed the vibe LOL. Should have just cancelled his appointments for the day

Non relaxing music or music with commercial interruptions. Come on dude spring for the subscription.

Once had a masseur leave the tv on. I asked him to turn it off and he put on mute. Then when I asked him to turn it off completely he complained and said he likes watching while he massaged. /facepalm

No sound here. One time only I went to a really cute visiting Czech masseur who loved gay porn and had it playing the whole time. It was running when I got there and he said (not asked): I hope you don't mind if I leave it on. I think it enhances the overall sensual and erotic experience. He had the set on and it was in front of the head rest, so you would have broken your neck trying to watch it. And he left it on mute, but supplied the sound himself with little gasps and grunts. Such a weird experience. I could not wait to leave. He wanted to upsell at the merciful end, but I declined and escaped. I can't even remember what the massage was like, the situation was so distracting. Maybe it would have been more interesting if he had starred in the porn.

Yes one time one left for bathroom and was taking long. All I could think is I hope he's not taking a dump. No smell but still it was on my mind.

I prefer no music, just total quiet so I can hear the masseur’s breathing, sounds, & movements in order to synchronize my breathing with what he is doing & totally relax into the massage. Opening chat & checking in occasionally is also ok for me. Just keep it minimal.
