Here's hoping for a full season. The Yankees are my favorite team, and in their first televised spring training game they showed off a few hot rookies.Prospect Armando Alvarez showed talent at 3d base, but received much more attention for his shirt sleeves! They showed off some delightful muscles!

Oswaldo Perez at shortstop looks pretty good too:

Jasson Dominguez is also getting attention. He is known as The Martian!

CA Governor and local LA County/City officials are having talks with MLB RE: fans at Dodger Stadium, hinting maybe even for opening day!?

side note...I wonder if Dodger Stadium being opened up will affect its use as a “super”covid vaccine site? It’s one of the biggest.

The St. Louis Cardinals play here in Philadelphia next month. There is seating available on the third base line.

Almost all MLB teams have local approval for some level of fan attendance this year.

Of course if Philly in early April is anything like Chicago in early April, they can KEEP those tickets! LOL

I'll bet you don't even love Paris in the springtime.

There are occasionally good things about spring:

I just usually prefer watching from my nice warm living room. :D

I have gone to opening day in Philadelphia a few times, so far no problem.

And some National League teams only play one series a year in Philadelphia

Hoping Giancarlo Stanton (left) is healthy and back in regular play for the Yankees, probably as DH.

Hoping Giancarlo Stanton (left) is a grower, not a show-er.

Roger Maris, Yankee home run great, was also known for the sleeves that showed off his arms:

with Mickey Mantle

Roger Maris was traded to the Cardinals. He played in two World Series with the Cards.

And was gifted as a lucky beer distribution contract from the Anheuser Busch in St. Louis. Still Mr. Maris died too young

It's my personal opinion that Giancarlo is gay. I have my reasons, and those shorts only add to them.

The Yankees open the season in 10 minutes! But it's only 44 degrees and a chance of showers!

Good thing I am watching on TV!

I love the Mets but they got postponed today due to COVID issues with the Nationals. Didn't take long for our national nightmare to pop up.

Agree. Horrible way for the 2021 season to start

I saw a few minutes of the game in Detroit where it was snowing heavily. Yet they played.

And the Yankees lost. Sigh.

The Cardinals lineup of Paul Goldsmith bating 2nd and Nolan Avenado batting 3 Rd is a surprise. But it certainly worked today in Cincinnati.

Cardinals can't wait for Avenado to play in St. Louis for fielding as well as his hitting.

It appears from his negative responses in this conversation/thread, @Unicorn is not up to date on baseball.

The season started yesterday, despite covid19, which is a major achievement after last season. In 2020, the Cardinals and the Marlins had to play many double-header to make up for dozens of cancelled baseball games
