I've contacted MB guys three times. One was a No Show (after I drove to Cincy and rented a room), one wanted me to send him money via Cash app BEFORE we met (yeah, sure), and one insinuated that he didn't actually like gay guys (so I didn't pursue). Lately, a lot of their guys are straight guys who want dates with females but would "do" gays if you paid them lots of money. I think you're better off with RM, Friendboy, or even A4A. In the past few months I've been scouting Grindr with some luck but I've also seen an increase in scammers.

I have clicked through the profiles on Mintboy in a number of cities out of boredom. I see a lot more guys there that are my type than on Rentmen. Unfortunately, they are either in other locations or they claim to see woman only.

And in kind, I would assume that because a provider on RM has verified photos/ID and reviews...that sending money in advance typically shouldn’t be something looked down upon, even if mintboys says otherwise. But obviously the quality is different as well. Then again, that’s what could make it hard for “real” escorts to post on a site, if the site is actually advising against an escort having a verification process of their own. In that case, it makes me wonder: who’s manning the ship ? ?

I really only trust RentMen or RentMasseur. The other sites don't seem to have any real mechanism to verify the legitimacy of their "actors". I realize RM reviews are positive-biased, but you can still get some sense of legitimacy from the numbers. IE, someone with 50 positive reviews is probably not faking every one.
