Would you hire an escort who turned you down on Scruff?

Neither a turn on or turn off. I would think there is a very different profile of someone who you WANT to hook up with VS someone you will meet up with for a fee. I'm almost 50, generally most 20-somethings aren't looking for 50 yr olds unless they are really into daddies. If we could get all the hot guys we want without paying, why are we here?

If a guy on Scruff/ Grindr turned ou down, but his RM profile say available, would u try to hire him?

My issue is if they're on apps giving it up for free, why pay.

So seeing an escort on cruising apps, turn on or turn off?

Steve

The guy (the escort) is simply separating his personal life & his business life....

Would you fault a guy who was a handyman (for pay) during the week wanting to be helpful to a neighbor with a chore “on the house” on a weekend ? almost the same thing.

It depends on their attitude and how they turned me down. Many encounters I’ve had from Scruff or Grindr have been less than ideal ending with a lecture which I find is being shamed. “If you see me out in public you don’t know me, we have never met and don’t acknowledge me”. If I get a sense of that same attitude from a person I will not hire them.

That being said they have a sex drive too and a type and I don’t fault them for looking.

In the end i would likely I would be more generous to a nice guy i met on an app and was sincere than a guy just looking to make a few bucks off me

It’d a tricky situation. I’ve chatted and flirted with several guys who were interested and then when I mention I saw their RM ad it went from a hook up to a hire situation. Very disappointing and I should have known better.

I think seeing guys on cruising apps is just another way for them to do business. I have never really seen a drop dead gorgeous man look for sex on an app because they couldn’t get it face to face. When you can pull men and women at your leisure for fun the thrill is the actual chase. Hiring someone that rejects me when I ask them in app...my ego is too big to allow it. If they aren’t interested at all when I attempt to talk to them then they have already ruined the fantasy element of hiring. It’s a blunt truth that they wouldn’t even give me the time of day unless I flash cash, that kind of rejection ruins the fantasy.

As an escort myself, i do have Scruff and Grindr on, not because i am looking to hook up but because of business, when you have 5 clients a day the last thing you want is a hook up. When im traveling usually for two or three weeks it gets very expensive, staying at the hilton or hyatt, airplane tickets, 3 meals a day, transportantion to and from the airport becomes really expensive, so i have to make the most of those couple of weeks on the road and that takes a lot of advertising or in this case discrete advertising, i get an average of one client per day from those apps, now, i do use the same photos from RM and RMasseur on my apps profile as a hint to the guys that i am an escort, when a guy hit me up on Scruff or Grindr is very likely that they have seen my add on other websites, so thier approach is the following: Hi, my name is John, i have seen your add on RM, can you tell me about your services?... I feel that a lot of clients dont trust our profiles on RM or other sites, and the apps allows you to trade and exchange photos and communicate instantly, also, i have notice that guys who hit me up of those apps are the ones who dont want to share a number or email address, so that is the only way of communicating, in my opinion thay are trustworthy and alway show up for their appointments, as a matter of fact, all of the guy i have friended on both apps are clients and that is my only way of communicating with them.

Good question!

I agree with @Lchnsf that it depends on their attitude and how I was rejected and understanding they may be looking for something very specific that I can’t deliver on...but then when I am hiring I would want him to be into me on some level otherwise it just wouldn’t be fun.

They are not stupid. They will know someone will spot them in the app, so more likely they are using it to get clients too. Not saying they wouldn't be looking to hook up if they find a guy that's just their type. In your case @muscmtl I would bet you are talking about a bottom guy who rejected you not knowing that you hire on the side. Size queens do exist so he unknowingly lost business with you probably because you don't look like the typical client so he assumed you are just another guy on Scruff and treating you as such, if you didn't have 9" he had no interest. I've seen providers on the apps, and by teasing them I've realized some are on full sales mode, while others are truly just looking to hook up. If it was me, I would lose interest in the provider simply because as @rustyrex said, from the moment he rejected me outside of the hiring context he already killed the fantasy for me.

My point, thank you.

usually we hire guys we can't get for free because they're out of our league.

I know escorts who have ran into clients on dating apps and blocked them later. It used to happen pretty often on manhunt.

They're giving it for free to other good looking men like them not to most of us.

Some guys only hire guys who call themselves straight because they don't want to pay for someone who'll give it for free to other men. I only hire gay men because I like the BFE.

I've contemplated it but like others said it would ruin the fantasy.

I have no time nor tolerance for "working" escorts on the apps. There are dedicated spaces to advertize your services and I will go there when I want to hire. It is self-esteem shattering when a guy starts chatting you up and then goes "as long as you pay, lol". I won't go so far as to report the profiles but I do fully support the app owners of doubling down on banning them.

The apps are already such a shitshow of spam-bots, fakers, flakers, cat-fishers... it doesn't need even more profiles on there that aren't part of its intended usage.

But what if you see a super hot guy, who's not on RM, that somehow states on his image or profile description he's working?

Wouldn't you consider it? I've done it a couple of times and got a really good price for an amateur experience.

I think other forum members have reported having relative success on Grinder. I admit it takes a little bit more work than RM, though.

I've considered it but never gone through with it. The rod that broke the camel's back was when a guy who I knew was into me (we'd almost hooked up regularly) had recently started escorting and hit me up on Scruff trying to get me to come over only to spring it on me he was also wanted to be paid. I declined.

His mistake, that's undue. I was talking about someone you've never seen before, but you are on your right.

I think the other part to that is it’s kind of a knock to your ego. If a guy shot me down on a hook up app but would gladly meet me for money....I wonder what he’s really thinking of me during our session.

The whole point of hiring someone is to have sex with someone hotter than you could get for free. I haven't used Scruff or Grindr, but if the man was rude when rejecting me, sending me a message such as "What were you thinking, you ugly troll?", then I would say no. But just because someone thinks he can score someone hotter than me doesn't mean I wouldn't pay him.

Well see this is where you're getting it mixed up. Who said we're giving it up for free, and to whom?

And just because they're giving it up for free, hypothetically speaking....what license does that give someone to think they should also have free access to said provider's sexual aura?

At the end of the day let's just be realistic: Not all clients are going to be an escort's preferred type. Let's not fake or pretend or imagine anything different. Many clients have image and/or weight issues, and are fully aware of it. Which is good. But, And I've said before: there are clients out there who are willfully unconcerned with their appearance, so to hell if an escort chooses to actually have sex with someone who's just their type once in awhile, for free.

The fuck I would let someone tell me I can't hookup and have sex with some 20s something hot guy on an app who wants to let me fuck him raw. Is he paying me? No. But he's down to do a video and that in itself can help me make some coin in the long run...
