What's happening in Las Vegas with COVID-19

I heard on my local evening news that the Cirque du Soleil has suspended all of its shows (in Vegas and otherwise) and joined Penn & Teller and David Copperfield who have also closed their Vegas shows.

More get added every hour it seems. Opium has shut down at Cosmopolitan. I hear many others will too.

MGM announced several employees tested positive for Coronavirus and they are shutting all of their properties down as well.

Wynncore closed. MGM closed. Caesars expected to also close by tomorrow.

 

Shows, bars, clubs closed.

The airlines keep running and the fares are low, so people push boundaries. I don't know why.

 

I'm a very frequent flier. I fly all the time. But I know when to stop. Especially when it's for the greater good.

I think civil disorder starts when people can't get food anymore. I'm not predicting that will happen...in a big way anyway. But that would be the trigger for society starting to fall apart IMHO.
