Life is full of risk. Don't delude yourself especially when making risky choices. There's nothing professional about working illegally in contravention of public health orders. If either of you have the novel coronavirus, or a client up to 3 hours before you had it, all of you have been exposed, possibly with a large enough dose to be infected, especially if there was deep breathing involved. Here's what the US CDC is currently recommending for healthcare personnel who are in close contact. This is the minimum PPE that an actual professional wears to work in close proximity to another human right now. Is this how he was dressed?

My intent was not for you to feel attacked, though I can see how it could be read that way. I apologize. My point remains that all adults are responsible for making mature informed choices. I would expect someone who does bodywork to have at least decent surface sanitization practices. But, coronaviruses also spread by respiratory droplets and aerosol. How was the room handled between clients? What precautions were taken to minimize the risk of transmission and create a safer session? If he was not attired as the CDC currently recommends, then he was not being professional. Both of you are adults and are welcome to take whatever risks you want with your own lives. My point was to urge you not to delude yourself and believe either of you were completely safe. You were slightly less risky because of the mask you mentioned, but without knowing all the probabilities, it was still a risky choice for each of you and whoever else you're around for the next up to 14 days that you may be infected and shedding before symptoms appear.

I have not seen this thread until now. It is a long one. I read the first page and then skipped to #11, what a nice contrast. I would not be judgmental to anyone in this critical situation. When I see those who run to point their fingers I just become suspicious of their need to put others down. We all may make wrong decisions in moments of crisis, our rights and our wrongs in those situations do not guarantee our future righteousness or lack of.

 

What I am doing is total abstinence. I have been 4 weeks without fucking and I am horny. As I know that I am a weak sluttish spirit, I am doing my best to avoid temptation. All my hooking up apps are logged out. The first time a fuck buddy calls me I explain that I intent to be abstinent until new notice. The second time, I ignore the call. These are the times where it is a great opportunity to tell our masseurs about the unemployment they can collect in the stimulus package that was passed by the House today, and will be signed into law either today or tomorrow. One of my regulars reached out to me last night to book a session, and when I told him he can collect unemployment since self-employed are included in the new stimulus package, he pulled his ad offline and thanked me, since he had been unaware of this. So we need to let these guys know about this when they contact us for business. (They will get $2,400/month PLUS their regular unemployment benefits for 4 months in the new law....spread the word to them)

I'm in Nevada (Vegas) I got denied because of no w2 income and being self employed, even while the online application had boxes to indicate self employed and affected by Covid 19. I got sent an employer validation paperwork however.

Going to try and Wade through the phone system tomorrow to fix the situation or find the proper course of action.
