I made the guy I hired last week wash his hands and face went I got to his hotel room and I washed mine before we started anything. When I got home, I immediately washed up again.

Wow! If you’re touching, kissing, licking, sucking, massaging, hugging, canoodling, etc. etc., washing hands is irrelevant and useless.

I kind of unfortunately arranged a travel trip right in the middle of this craziness

DC March 13-15

NYC March 15-17

Boston March 17-19

Chicago 19-22

Lockdowns started happening the dates I was in DC

I have had a 90% cancellation rate over the entire trip from appointments I had already on the schedule, some due to reconsiderations others from their own travel plans being cancelled.

Ultimately, I left Boston back home to Vegas on the 19th.

Interesting though, a side effect is that I am noticing a few things about certain cities and their hiring tendencies and behaviors because of all this.

Unfortunately too, some have already tried to contact me looking for a basement bargain?

Some have limits and value their self worth and mental health, and I caution others who might try this to not. Myself, if it came down to it, would rather enter the regular workforce again before accepting a rate that would make me feel negatively towards that. I can be flexible sure, and I am sure others may as well, but don't expect to pay 100 when someone's rate is 240, even for less time. For meeting with one person, and risking my health I am not about to accept less than half than normal?‍♂️

Would you be willing to share what you've noticed (maybe "anonymously", like "in city A such and such, in city B, thus and so"...)?

Behavior that I call "now factor"... basically when someone is looking to meet 'now' , or only once I am in town (even though I am only ever on town for two or 3 days and balance other appointments) or only because a certain opportunity arises, instead of willing to book in advance, even if in advance would only be commiting to something two or three days ahead.

Also when it seems that rates will be the ultimate deciding factor, rather than be in conjunction with availability and in today's case health as well.

The now factor seems especially true when my travel dates have been set over 3 weeks, and would have shown up in searches in each city since then.

I'll disclose this has been Chicago the most this trip, but I didn't end up going.

It helps because it shows there is more interest in that city than the typical number of new inquires I receive, but should be taken with a grain of salt as these might be hard appointments to book alongside others if they can't set dates ahead of time or only looking because they think they can haggle for lower rates.

Although a few possible gems have been uncovered that hopefully will be fun times when I can travel there next ??

I definitely feel so empathetic towards the providers impacted by this.

@MrMattBig summed up well what I hope is a common philosophy- don’t take any amount out of desperation as it does potentially put your health (and others) at risk. (Hope, but expect it’s not as common as I would like to believe......)

I know that can be hard when you need $$ to live......I don’t have any solutions, just concerns.

I am ‘social distancing’ and anticipate having extra play $$ when this is all over.......

stay safe and healthly my friends!

I feel sorry for escorts into kink/leather scenes. Claw and IML are two huge events that have been postponed that have to be big money making events for escorts. Really sad about CLAW, I'm only a couple hours from Cleveland and an escort I have played with a few times was going to be a CLAW and I was planning on making a day trip to cleveland to play.

I think that a principal reason I've had good experiences with escorts is that I treat them with respect and make it clear by my conduct, demeanor and conversation that although I enjoy fucking, I'm not ever going to fuck them over. Those who want to take advantage of any service provider during this crisis (or any other time for that matter) should be promptly rejected.

There is an escort who used to be on rentmen who is making the rounds on instagram with a viral post. He has caught the virus and is warning everyone to take it seriously. He's not yet thirty and it is incredibly serious. We all have to be careful out here

I dont know what Claw or IML is or what goes on there but wouldn't they be the safest place where 50+ people would gather. I would have thought using either breath play, sensory deprivation, surgical, and/or doggie masks combined with leather gloves, fisting gloves, and/or doggie mits would prevent everyone from contracting the virus.

I'm not worried about this hysteria. But for those that see biz slowing let this be a lesson and diversify your work. Buy property, day trade, get a day job or open a biz. Solely relying on slinging dick and selling ass can only go so far and for so long. Shit happens uncalled for virus hysteria happens, economic downturn happens. Be ready and be smart.

Hugs,

Greg

Day trading can be pretty risky too

Pick your poison: Health care crisis or economic crisis. Looks like we get both.

I think almost every industry will be impacted financially Escorts could be really impacted though if they are working under the table and won't be able to get unemployment if that's there only job. If Trumps stimulus package is like W's was and requires you had taxable income they'll lose out on that as well (I'd gladly give up that money, even if it was a LOT more than that to get my money back I've lost on my portfolio since this has started)

Cancelling events, large-small-and in-between, are now snowballing on every continent and the economic impact will be huge.

I smell a global recession.

How does what seemingly originated in Wuhan spread so quickly over the planet without being super contagious?

The tiny Vatican announced it's first case while northern Italy locks down. Stanford University cancelled in-person classes for the term. All of Japan's schools are closed thru March. Two Iranian political leaders actually died. Petri-dish Cruise ships? South Korean streets are eerily empty. SXSW in Austin is a no. Next stop: India.

This could spiral out of control very quickly. Or not. No one knows. I'd be cautious at best.

It already has "spiraled out of control." I sympathize with those who escort if that is their sole source of income and if there is no sort of "nest egg" or a sum saved for "a rainy day." I do know that once the pandemic has concluded, I'll seek the wonderful services that are provided by my favorite men.:eek:

I’m not taking any massage clients right now until they get this sorted out and under control. Massage is just extra money for me and I do miss the extra money but this too shall pass

Somehow I doubt they've already had access to proper COVID testing

And even if they did there's no guarantee they are still negative. I'd be avoiding someone that had the test myself seeing they will only test you in most places if you've been exposed to it or are experiencing three of the four symptoms. Means the person is either recovering from something else or they are exposed to carriers or have a high risk job.

I cancelled my appointment with a well-reviewed and respected member of this forum. He seldom came to my city and I’ve been looking forward to meeting him for a long time. But the week of my appointment, things began escalating with this coronavirus. I told him I trusted him, but I did not trust the clients he had met prior to our booked meeting.

I had a similar yet opposite experience. I met up with a member that, at least for the time that I have known him, comes to my area. My thought process was this may be the last time I would get to see him for a very long time so I called and we met.
