Sexy Short Guys?

Recently in a Deli post someone was commenting on an escort, and someone else chimed in with an "isn't he a bit tiny? remark. Someone else responded about how sexy (and successful) the short Talvin de Machio is.

 

Then there was the Karshner triplet thread that caused someone to comment on their height in a way that I read as saying that they are too short to be sexy.

 

This thread was spurred by Epigonos comment in my ballet thread that a current heartthrob of mine, Argentinean dancer Herman Cornejo was too short to be a great dancer. That's a legitimate comment in the sense that it related to specific skills needed in a specific field, but does a guy have to be tall to be sexy or good in bed? And, if not, why do threads about short guys inevitably end up with someone bringing up how short he is?

 

Of course, I already have my opinion of this, I like short guys. Maybe that's because I am tall. But why would others think short guys were not sexy just because they are short?

Lucky I couldn't agree with you more. I also have a thing about short guys in bed. I think Caesar Mancini in L.A. at 5'3" is extremely hot. I've also had two fantastic sessions with an escort by the name of Jody in Austin, TX about the same height. My comments regarding Herman Cornejo had nothing to do with how sexy the guy is but were only an observation about his future as a principal dancer.

I, too, tend to like shorter men.

 

Around here, guys get put down because they're too short or too tall, to young or too old, too muscled or too skinny, to femme or too butch, butt too big or butt too small, or anything else that seems "too much" for one poster.

 

Guys don't have to be tall to be good dancers, either. Take a look at young (!) Derek Hough on "Dancing with the Stars". He has to wear hi-rise heals when dancing with diminutive Jennie Garth. Here's a kid who is 22, drop dead cute, who headlined the West End production of "Footloose, the Musical" and got rave reviews.

 

Watching the videos from that West End production, the kid stood out because he's a bigger talent than the other pretty chorus boys. It has nothing to do with height. He draws your eye. (He actually reminds me of a young Liza Minnelli in some ways but that's an ENTIRELY different conversation!)

 

Height only matters if you have a fetish for tall -- or short -- men. And it's OK to have a fetish for tall -- or short -- men. It's unfortunate that some members of this community feel the need to belittle (pun not intended) short men because that isn't their fetish.

 

Height is a fetish. It's neither good nor bad until it becomes judgemental, just like any other fetish.

Well height matters not a whit when you are lying down but some standing positions might require some imagination to complete if there is too big a height differential.

I am not surprised that people would comment on height when someone is either shorter than usual (under 5 6) or taller than usual (over 6 4) anymore than I would find it surprising if someone mentions tattoos when someone has 40 and not mention it if someone has one.

A pierced ear, probably doesnt get a mention while a Prince Albert is likely to be cited.

Speaking of Dancing with the Stars - did you catch it tonight (Monday)? I spend most of my time checking out the men's butts - the fact that they can dance or not, is completly inconsequential. The best butt tonight, bar none, belonged to Cameron Mathison. What a set if cheeks!

Height can make a difference for a few things. For example, 69 is most comfortably performed by two guys of approximately the same height. But then disparate heights might lend themselves better to other things.

 

I've posted strongly positive reviews from time to time about short guys, where the only mention of their height was on the form, not in my text, only to have somebody post that rejoinder in the forum of "yeah, but isn't he a midget" or something to that effect. I think that short guys are commonly seen as cute, not hot or sexy. I happen to like tall guys, but hey obviously the guys who go after me like short guys, so i think it is a 50/50.

At 6'4", I am taller than most everyone I meet and the height differential between me and someone who is of average height is pretty big. It isn't an issue for me, but it is for some guys, so I usually tell them that when I am on my knees they will tower above me. That said, I get into muscle worship.
