Love the idea. Can you let the more timid among us know how you went about propositioning him? Aren't terms like 'generous' verboten on Grinder?

Not ideal to write in profiles, though I'm seeing it more and more lately... it's usually okay in conversation! If I see a boy I like I just message a compliment and ask if he's open to meeting generous guys. The answer nowadays, at least in NYC, seems more and more to be yes. And then the negotiations begin :) have had a lot of success tapping the amateur market

I've met guys off grindr. The usual hookups and other that are looking for "gen".

Tomorrow I'm meeting a guy off Grindr that wants 50/wk, but not sure what I'm getting in return.

So we are meeting to iron out details. We'll see. No high hopes, since he's been flaky sometimes.

I find him attractive. That's why I'm giving him a chance.

I've met a few masseurs off grindr too... and usually I've a higher success rate than the ones from Masseurfiner LOL, go figure!

And I also met a really nice guy, very handsome, that his ad said that was looking for a massage... we've met a few times.. I massage him and we fool around a lot, sometimes is just fooling around, the massage part is skipped. :)

It works on Grindr, and it’s fun. You need a very thick skin, high tolerance for rejection, and you need to be a little brave. But I’ve had great luck, met a few really cool guys. Previous suggestions have mentioned putting roses emoji ??in your profile, also ? works! I prefer the emojis to any outright text in my profile.

You may get reported (we have a forum member right here who reports generous and looking for generous on Grindr). But it’s unlikely. If a conversation gets contentious and you feel it going the wrong way...block the guy ASAP.

There are several but as I told you before I don't do it anymore...

Thank you from bringing this up, you're the one who bump this thread from the past not me nor @samhexum

At first I thought Grindr for escorts would be a bad thing and that's why I was against it. After much thought, reading posts by other members and talking with a few escorts I think I was wrong and Grindr would be a good thing for escorts.

  1. Hiring or not is a big step in life we all have crossed at a different type and for different reasons. Grindr might be a way to make some folks hire someone they can't have for free because he's "out of their league". Later on that client after a few good experiences paying and getting exactly what he wants, when he wants and without drama (and some not to so good times spending hours texting and getting blocked) will move on to hire from RentMen.com.
  2. I still think most of the guys offering money on Grindr do it because it might be cheaper and it's almost like hooking up, yet they're hiring... This might get rid of the guys asking for a 30 mins rate and other bottom feeders who after BP was shut down started harassing escorts on Rentmen.com
  3. Caveat emptor: some folks start using it to attract men with fake pictures and mugging them if they don't give their wallet. Something like this happen a few blocks from my place at a hotel called Dorchester House to a well-known lawyer. I think it was either Back Page or Craigslist.

An escort recently posted that in Europe guys on Grindr are using diamond symbols to announce they are available to anybody who wants to pay. What if Grindr uses the system of Adam4Adam* and makes sure those advertising as escorts and making a profit from their site have one free account to have fun with their neighbors, and a paid one to be hired by other mostly older and out of shape men?

*After Sesta and Fosta I'm sure they'll never do it.

You also reported a guy from S.A., I guess he wasn't into you. It happens.

You even got suspended by that site.

I think my suspension and perhaps others mentioned here are due to “sugar babies” being vengeful.

I recently reported one sugarbaby for trying to have an online only arrangement, by sending me videos and pictures. That also violates the TOS, and I reported him. Yesterday I reported a confirmed (by his own admission) underage guy...who I notice was promptly back online 24 hours later with a different profile, which I ignored. Possibility for revenge reporting.

I’ve been on the site almost two years and very active....I find it hard to believe that suddenly my language/patter has changed, I’m more inclined to think I was reported. I’ve applied for reinstatement as this was my first “offense”, we shall see!
