Some scents that have the “perfumed edge” to their scent make me ill.

If I go to a house with Glade Plugins, I won’t be there long. They make me ill. Rumor is they have toxic ingredients.

 

I like homey smells- like vanilla or cinnamon - and not flowery ones like rose or lavender

 

I’m more focused on using essential oils in a diffuser.

I don't like candles perfumed or not. I find them old fashioned. But I am using stick diffusers. I buy the same perfume for the diffusers with the one I use in the shower, so this becomes my home scent.

I like exactly two scented candle varieties. Pier 1 Imports Citrus Cilantro and Ginger Peach.

I have one plain white votive candle I got in case the power goes out. I've never lit it. I use a flashlight.

Colonial Candle has a sandalwood scent. Sometimes I will light one to get rid of cooking odors, or if some cigarette smoke has wafted in from someone smoking outside when I have the windows open, but that doesn't happen often. Generally, I don't use candles

Yes Avalon. I buy scented candles. Always with a wooden wick. Vanilla Cedarwood is my favorite scent from Wood Lighta candles

I have an amazing candle that I love! It’s from The Maker of Wax Goods. It’s scent is Vanilla and tobacco. Although I am not a smoker, the scent is very rich and I like it! Unfortunately I found it to be discontinued. The burn time is 70 hours with a single wick though. I may buy a comparable from the same company.

They're supposed to be very unhealthful. Burning the volatile oils creates a toxic residue that settles on everything. Nonetheless, I like bayberry scented candles.
