I've been self-isolating in a very small Texas beach town, enjoying the salt life and in wonderement I've somehow got a 1GB connection at this house.

Or maybe the smoke infused voice of Edward R. Murrow. But to better reflect the somewhat sardonic edge to your writing I’d suggest
