The House Of Flowers is a new Netflix series. It’s quite good. It’s about a very likeable & good looking Mexican family that owns a very successful flower shop. It’s a crazy family that will do whatever it takes to support each other.

Lots of gay, straight, & bi sex. Each of the 13 Episodes is 30 min. It was just renewed for a 2nd series. The 1st episode won me over.

The House of Flowers (Spanish: La Casa de las Flores) is a Mexicancomedy-drama web television series created by Manolo Caro. It depicts a dysfunctional high-class Mexican family that owns a prestigious flower shop. The first 13-episode season was released on August 10, 2018.

I started watching it last night and am halfway through it. Love it. Great gay story line. Nice ass shots of Julian (the character wearing the blue suit i the trailer). I was able to watch it in it's original version of spanish/mexican for some reason.

Here I hoped it was an adaptation of the Truman Capote story and/or musical of the same name....about whorehouses in the Carribbean.

It is dubbed into English. I might have preferred sub-titles.

I really enjoyed it too. BTW the dubbing doesn’t correspond to the closed captioning. I actually started watching it with a Mexican friend in Spanish with English closed captioning. The best option if you can do it.

After a year of waiting Season 2 of House of Flowers is back. As much as I enjoyed Season 1, Season 2 is awful.

The story is all over the place. Too many plots & a rush to develop them. Starting with the “orphan girl” doing magic tricks to trying to raise money to repurchase the flower shop. The entire cult plot is silly & so predictable. The romances aren’t working and the start up of the drag queen club is just dragging. Hopefully, bringing in escorts will liven things up.

Without the mother in the show & the constant digging up her box of belongings, I’m struggling to get through these 30 min episodes.

Anyone else watching?

I just watched the first episode of season 2. I just like looking at Dario Bernal... so cute.

The season finale is the best of the episodes. Brings all the stories together for conclusions & sets the stage for Season 3, if there is one. The “young orphan” girl sings her heart out on the talent show as many of the events unfold. Well done... Yes, we get to see Dario’s cute butt in the finale.

Has anyone watched the movie? I believe it's new to Netflix.

As bad as the English dubbing sometimes was on the series I preferred it subtitles when watching late and tired. Not sure if dubbing is an option with the movie.

I like how the eldest sister, Paulina, enunciates each word and makes it easier for non-native speakers to understand.

It's a character choice.

It's because Pau is always on xanax.
