Hello, I just rode my first CA AIDS Lifecycle ride last week and it was a life changing experience, if you are up to the physical challenge I cannot recommend it enough. If you are not up to the physical challenge, consider being one of 600 Roadies who handle all of the logistics...it's all one big happy family for 7 days.

AWESOME! I know a lot of people in SF who do it. It sounds pretty fun actually!

I’m a New Yorker - NYC treats me well and I think a lot of working guys do well when visiting. I also always have outstanding experiences in Philly and DC. Given the relatively close proximity of each of these to the others, it might be something to consider.

Hmm havent been to the east cost yet!

If I’m in country, I’ll do it next year. I just signed up for a Century Ride in July. I’m totally addicted to riding and have several bikes in both locations where I live.

My BF and I hitched from NYC to CA....Best time was from San Francisco to San Diego and then on to Tucson...The Big Sur/Monterey stretch is full of beautiful beaches and forests for hiking..We stopped at San Simeon for a day or so....The closer to LA the busier it is...Santa Barbara not to be missed....A random man picked us up and made all sorts of "gay this city...gay that city"...then wanted to pay us to get sucked....and then asked if we wanted his grandma to make us breakfast....Great time...long long ago..

1990-2006. Anytime I talked about best locations with escorts, even dancers at NobHill, they always opined that business was best, clients friendliest and least likely to flake, in Texas.

Haven't discussed it with any provider in years.

My best backpacking, probably not good for rentguy business... southeast Alaska. There are many places on earth about which much can be said: views, trails, natural beauty, challenges, etc. S.E. Alaska has all of those plus one unique thing I found around Juneau, in Glacier Bay, etc. - the ground actually feels softer, spongier. My (maybe wacky) hypothesis... millenia of temperate rainforest growth and decay make for softer earth... better hiking/walking. And great weather in Summer.

Many people starting out, assume going to the cities with the most escorts will be the best places for escorts. That may not always be the case though. However, sometimes it’s hard to tell. I rarely ever hit anything in Chicago, but I’ve had success in Minneapolis. I usually leave disappointed in Los Angeles, but have done better in San Francisco.

This made me laugh because I did this exact thing. I was sure I was going to make a mint in New York City. There had to be an almost infinite amount of clients so how could I leave without a big fat bank account? Yeah, the problem is there are also an infinite amount of escorts. And although I have enough self-confidence to say I am decent looking, I am definitely not "New York-hot". There's always someone out there younger and hotter than you and in a place like New York City that list is really really long. I was there mostly on vacation (the escorting was just sort of a side thing I was doing since I was there anyway) and I had 1 client in 5 days. Taught me the lesson that the big city is not always better.

That said, I was in in San Francisco once and only had 1 client and he ended up paying me WAY more than we agreed upon (when does that ever happen??) and it ended up basically covering my whole trip. So sometimes 1 client is all it takes.

I haven't yet done any traveling as an escort, but I'm gonna mostly agree with @Mocha . I've been looking into doing some traveling this summer, and basically I've come to the conclusion that like, at least for me it'd be best to just go somewhere that I actually want to visit anyways. If it's profitable, great. If it ends up not being profitable, I'm still getting a trip out of it that I wanted to take anyways. It would kinda suck if at the end of the trip I haven't even broke even but, I think when I travel I'll just go with the mentality that I might not even break even and focus on enjoying the trip, making it worth it regardless.

To be fair I really enjoy traveling and like discovering new places though. I know not everyone is into that so much.

Hey Blake, haven’t seen you on here in a while. Still waiting for you to visit the west coast!

Exactly!

NYC is too competitive, some escorts are traveling to smaller markets where as long as they have regulars they can make a good profit.

I'm sure you're worth every penny and more!

A belated Welcome To The Forum ! You have a very thorough, pleasant profile... kudos !

(And, to your question, you might consider the Appalachian Trail - it passes thru/near several major metropolitan areas.)

Not the best time of year to start a hike on the Appalachian Trail.

Something I would suggest is researching the demographic of providers in a city you’re interested in. While it seems to be the trend for providers to hit DC, NYC, SF, Chicago, etc etc. I have made the most money traveling abroad to cities where men do not look like me. You stick out like a sore thumb and there isn’t another “you” for miles, so the demand is high and clients will pay. Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Lisbon..
