During the years that I have engaged the services of escorts, age has never been a problem.  On September 26 of this year, I will turn a young 81 years of age.  I plan to see my go-to-guy in San Francisco who I have not seen since the worldwide pandemic hit.  He and I were together (only in the lobby of the hotel in May of this year.  Because I did not feel comfortable because of covid, I canceled and discreetly handed his fee to him.  He seemed disappointed yet pleased that I just did not stand him up cold.  He encouraged me to ring him in the future just to chat, etc.  To date I have yet to do that but will contact him within a week or so regarding my hopeful date and time with him.

Right now I hope that we can see each other within a few weeks.  Afterwards, during the remainder of the year, I hope to see other guys only if they've been fully vaxed.

Should I request they bring verification of their vax status?  Or, if they've mentioned their vax status in their ads, take that as proof?

I hope you get to go see your regular, favourite guy very soon.

As to whether you should take it on trust from an ad that says the escort is fully vaxed, this is totally personal. It is up to you of course.

My regular go-to lad is fully vaxed, and I haven't asked him for proof because I trust him. He's a lovely person who would not lie, and he has a very good reputation as an excellent and popular provider in London, so he wouldn't risk damaging his reputation by lying. I have no doubt he'd show me proof of his fully vaxed status if I requested it, but I don't want to make him think I'm wary by asking. I trust him.

If you meet a guy for the first time whose ad doesn't mention anything about being vaxed, I think it is absolutely a reasonable request to ask for proof, and I think I would do so.

It's awesome that you turn 81 on the 26th; I hope you have a lovely day mate x

True @sjmuktop But (as you will know) so that others are not misled: various related activities remain illegal in the UK (eg soliciting, kerb crawling, pimping, trafficking, running a brothel etc)

Yes very true, @MscleLovr. Thanks for adding some additional info with regards to the law here on prostitution/escorting, for the benefit of our friends abroad.

@MscleLovris right. Prostitution is legal here so long as it isn't "publicly solicited". Pimping, trafficking and brothel running are all against the law (though the police seem to have turned a blind eye to Villa Gianni for all these years - I suppose because it operates under the facade of being a massage parlour).

At 33 you're still pretty young to hire but considering the Grindr fatigue and possibility to pay with CC I'm sure it's becoming more common.

Before my stalker grabs this thread I'm NOT equating hiring with being unable to get laid for free or being young with NOT having money to pay for it.

Despite being a Millennial, I actually don't pay my escorts by credit card, haha. I always pay with cash. But I am thinking about paying my regular (and favourite) escort by PayPal, as I think he prefers that over cash.

And I agree with you that just because someone uses escorts, doesn't mean they cannot get laid otherwise. I'm not unattractive and I currently look young for my age (or so most people including some of the escorts I see tell me), and I do sometimes get laid for free in the saunas, whilst cruising or meeting someone off the apps. But my favourite way to get laid is with an escort. Escorts provide a sexual experience that most free hookups simply won't and can't provide.

I use escorts because I want to, not because I have to. And I think that's true for a lot of people regardless of their age.

I thought about this too.  I’m not sure to as to how far you have to go through with your appointment that you can be charged by the police for a crime?  Does money have to be presented first for a crime to be charged?  I highly doubt a cop would go through even getting naked first to cause a charge to be brought.

I'm so fortunate to live in the UK, where paying someone money in exchange for sexual services is perfectly legal. I couldn't imagine experiencing the anxiety of being 'busted' each time I engage in this most enjoyable hobby.

You are dealing with a scam artist.

Do you say this based on negative experiences you've had with escorts who've asked for payment up front, or is that just something you've surmised to be the case? I ask with all due respect.

I've met up with many escorts who've asked for payment up front, and most of them (admittedly not all) have delivered a very professional service and a very hot, horny, enjoyable session.

Whilst I personally would much rather pay at the end of a session as opposed to at the start of a session, I'm not automatically hostile to an escort who requests the latter.

EDIT: I'm talking about payment on arrival,  not about paying a deposit (or the full rate) prior to meeting, which is something I have never done and never would do.

It seems somewhat depressing and rundown to me

I'm not sure where you've been when you've been over here, but this is not a description of the UK that I live in.

Sure, there are plenty of impoverished areas in much of the larger towns and cities but that's the case elsewhere in Europe - and the rest of the world, indeed.

I've always had some confusion over whether latino referred specifically to Spanish speakers from South America.

"A country is considered Latin American if it was or is still ruled by a country that speaks a Romance language — Spanish, French, or Portuguese — and its population also speaks it" (from Google).

$1000 to be in the presence of his limp dick while he stares at the clock?

    Hard pass.

Haha! Maybe he takes viagra, closes his eyes and thinks of a woman while he's fucking you/being fucked by you and gets off purely on the sensation?

Then again, that'd still be a really shitty experience.

his rate 500 and rate will go higher depends what he does. Like no kissing, he'll do oral and bottom for 1,000 that just crazy. Another gay4pay ill pass.

Bloody hell, are they really his rates?

Another "straight" man taking gay men for fools. Mind you, guys like this are obviously very aware that there are plenty of gay men out there with more money than sense.

  10. It's been closed for a few years now, but does anyone here remember the porn cinema in Soho (Walker's Court)? I never did go to it, but from what I read online, it had two separate rooms; one showing straight porn and the other showing gay porn. I walked past this place many times and was always curious as to what it would be like to venture in.

That said, porn cinemas have never really appealed to me. I've always thought that since you can watch porn from the comfort of your own home on your laptop, desktop or mobile phone, why would you go to a porn cinema?

I did however visit a porn cinema once out of curiosity. It was a gay porn cinema in King's Cross called 'Oscars'. It was a really seedy, dingy place located at basement level. There were a few guys there when I went, none of them really interested in the porn but more into getting it on with each other. The place has been closed down a few years now, I think. Don't think there any such places left in London.

The one in Walker's Court always intrigued me a little, so it would be interesting to hear from anyone who went to it.
