  1. Attaboy Epigonos! I'm right there with you. Palm Springs or bust!
  2. Due to the grindr-ization of RM in recent years, I have had equal or greater success arranging win-win meetings on other platforms over RM. Plus, I have a long track record of success taking chances on potential value plays.
  3. Alright! Another suggestion, take a look at your profile when you return home after a trip. On a couple of occasions, the goofy RM system has incorrectly re-set my permanent location to my last travel city.
  4. Some providers get panicky to be seen in public with a client on or off the clock. I have had to calm down a couple of guys on different occasions when we ran into their acquaintances while dining out. I say, "relax man, I've got you covered." While with a provider, I have run into friends multiple times, even in cities far from home (it's a small world, eh?); panic has never been my response. I guess I'm comfy with who I am and what I do.
  5. You can do that. I have posted travel cities/dates numerous times on my profile.
  6. It's a fine holy-day in coastal Jawja. Just finishing up my contribution to the family feast later today.....those hot pecan pies smell yummy. Happy Christmas to all!
  7. Since alot of providers have brought their grindr tactics into the business world, I have no problem playing along now. My body is transforming.....I'm 5-11, 165, 31w, lightly hairy, muscled/athletic build, 8.5 cut and thick, bubble butt, completely versatile and killer looks. Not bad for a 54yo, eh?
  8. If a provider accepts a mutually agreed stipend, he's a performer. If that provider creates a satisfying encounter for me, he's a damn good one.
  9. I prefer and practice discretion for myself and companions. In the past year, a provider, who I know is protective of his personal life, unwittingly exposed his real name to me in one of our communications. I pointed it out to him and how it happened so that he could take action in the future to better protect his identity.
  10. This question brings to mind a really fun encounter many years ago.
  11. While BVB and I lived very different lives, we developed a kinship because of this hobby. When we met, that kinship was affirmed, such a nice guy.
  12. Contradictions/inconsistencies do not occur in isolation. If there's one, there will be another and another.
  13. Back in the day, I was a baseball statistician; I truly loved to consume the numbers. Gibby's 1968 season changed the game forever. ERA for the season 1.12. 34 starts. 28 complete games. 13 of them were shutouts. 5 consecutive shutouts in June 1968, in which he gave up only 21 hits in 45 innings. In the final six weeks of that season, he went to another level: 4 shutouts; 6 games with 10+ Ks. But the most remarkable stat is that he lost 9 games that year. He lost several one run games. He lost a game in which he surrendered one hit in 8 innings. In September, He lost two complete games on the road, gave up 3 runs, striking out 21. One of those losses was a Gaylord Perry no-hitter. Absolutely remarkable man, and fierce competitor. Hank Aaron counseled younger players......don't even think of staring at him....you will pay the price for that. Goodbye Gibby......baseball fans will always remember and appreciate you!
  14. Hey y'all......Thanks to Sam's scouting report , I will be in Palm Springs April 2021, vaccine or no vaccine, masks/distancing or no masks/distancing, event or no event, many of us or few of us. I look forward renewing special acquaintances and making some new ones.
  15. Kenneth...A few tips to enhance your return on investment here: -Sort the good ideas, deploy them in your biz model and ignore the rest of our nonsense. -Contribute occasionally on topics that interest you, and feel free to share your successes and lessons learned along the way. -Avoid controversy. Some of the best people you will ever meet are members here. I know numerous clients here; many are personal friends. Some of my best long-time friends I met and made through this community. -Enjoy! And make a great life for yourself! JJT
  16. Welcome to the forum, Kenneth! I hope you find our little community helpful.
  17. I have noticed his grindr profile numerous times, in which he primarily looks for studs to make content for his OF platform. But I also noticed the prior off-putting language directed at the folks in our community. Some guys are so short-sided, even worse, they think we don't notice it or remember it.
  18. This is common among newbies, who have no business model and spend no time thinking through any of this. And I'll try not to get sidetracked about their woeful math skills (e.g. "150/hr and 400/2 hrs"......really?). Sometimes, I suggest a number, it is graciously received and we have a good time. That newbie gets introduced to the biz by a respectful, easy-going client, and from my point of view, he's the one getting the good deal. Other times, it goes no where, as in your case. Your cash has been preserved for a better deal down the road.
  19. Welcome aboard! Like everything in life, it's what you make of it. If you are easy-going and want to have fun, then a lot of fun you will have, and meet some of the best folks in the world. You won't receive an individual invite. Since you participate in the forum, just look for the notices that Oliver (our gracious host) posts on the forum as we draw nigh the date. Follow his instructions, RSVP at the appropriate time, and he will provide details on dates/times/locations. See you at PS 2021!
  20. Historically, as in the past 20 years, I have a hiring bias toward passionate play, so roughly 480 out of 500-ish. It's been quite common. But as they often say in the financial services industry, past performance is no guarantee of future results.
  21. No difference between those sites and newbies on RM. Standard screening procedures and good ole common sense will yield similar possibilities of success.
  22. Well, when I leave the calm of my country hideaway and start traveling again, we mature gentlemen will need to re-connect and re-kindle those prior flames. Thinking back, our meeting was probably 11 or 12 years ago. It is amazing how well I can remember the details of the good ones. The rest just become a blur.
  23. Thanks Rod, for taking me back to the good ole days, when this level of customer service was common. I had 10+ years of overnights and weekends that were alot like this agenda. But in 2020.........this is anathema to the current crop of younglings.
  24. Years ago, I gave RM one of my internet numbers (GV) for a verification. It is still listed on my profile. Only close family and friends get my cell number. Everyone else, including business relationships, get one of those other numbers. I don't receive any nuisance calls on my cell.
  25. Appointment times that start slipping don't yield good meetings. I tried it a couple of times, neither was satisfying or a good investment. Now, my SOP is if a provider attempts to push back the start time with minimal notice, that is an automatic cancel.
