Apple has taken on a daunting task.  The book was 'very big' in that the story was told over hundreds of years with little character development.  Overall I like it, it has already been picked up for a second season, but it may only loosely follow Asimov's original text.

Just a suggestion for another angle/path....

I fully appreciate that endless chat, guys probably looking for sex chat, and all the other reasons you list for a change in tactics. They are entirely valid and justified. At the same time, pics and profiles just aren't enough for me to 'get the chemistry' I need to ensure a good time can be had by all. 

So my suggestion is - GET PAID TO TEXT/CHAT.  I ask like 4 or 5 questions of a provider, usually getting right to the point of what I want and like in a provider.  If I am feeling a vibe, I then offer $100-$200 to chat more with the expectation that we will chat for a few hours, on and off, when the provider has time, etc., in some cases asking for the provider to apply 50% back of the 'chat fees' to a session if we have one.  I think almost every guy has taken me up on the offer with the exception of the 'cash in person' guys.  I like talking about sex, especially with someone I may be having sex with.  Three guys have become awesome 'regulars' because they were willing to take a little something upfront to chat with me about sex and other stuff.

I'm willing to invest to ensure my (and hopefully the providers' mutual) pleasure.  You getting something for your time hopefully lowers your resentment and helps you weed out the serious potential clients from the time wasters.

Just a thought.
