There could be many different reasons.   I handle taxes for two elderly people who make less that 85,000 per year but their taxes were both up slightly due to higher income from CD’s and MMF’s due to higher interest rates. 

Depends on who is next to me when I wake up.  🙂

Given the number of providers I have been with that spent much of the appointment looking at the phone, I have a hard time believing they cannot answer in a 3 or 4 hour time period.  

So I think I am a little better off now.  I am retired.  I had been sitting on cash for a time waiting on a chance for higher fixed income returns.   Post Covid inflation has given me the opportunity to raise my cash flow by investing at these  higher rates.

I realize the topic refers to NYC but it’s interesting to look back as to how many providers had orgasms. I would not describe myself as “out” but if asked will gladly describe myself as gay.   I don’t think it is an issue unless entering a relationship with a closeted man which makes things very difficult.  So unless it impacts a relationship I am in, I don’t see a reason to care if someone is “out” or not.  

I’ve never thought about it before but in Houston it seems to be more in the steam room.   I will pay closer attention!

I would love to hear the details on getting to full penetration in 15 minutes!  Sounds like a great experience.  

Prior to the advent of Prep I used condoms for most all oral and certainly anal sex.  In the last few years it seems like it is a non-starter to request condoms for oral.   Prior to that I got push back maybe 50% of the time but I maintained my sexual health since the 80’s so no regrets.   Now I just have one exclusive partner so not an issue.  I sense my rejection rate would be much higher today if condoms were requested for oral.

I used to go there 10 or so years ago.   The facility was pretty dated at that time so not sure what kind of shape it may be in now.   Never had much luck with hooking up there either so have not been back.  Would love to hear if those with more recent experience had better luck.  

I’ve only been asked for a deposit one time.  I politely replied I would not send one.  He went ahead with the appointment anyway without and it was a great session. 

There are many good observations in these last few posts.   I don’t think it is about race.  It is about how much you trust someone you don’t know very well.  I have been with white, black, and brown and prefer to protect my privacy and valuables until we know each other well enough that we have developed that mutual trust.
