Maybe , but I think he's just might be one of those that only want to have sex with guys they are attracted to and also expect to get paid for it as well! He wants to have his cake and eat it too. Either he really doesn't need the money that much and is willing to wait till he finds somebody he wants to sleep with, or he's not cut out for this type of work and knows it. I guess he figures a dating app like Grindr will get him laid but minus the extra income. He's a hard pass in my book.

There’s a context and way to ask for pictures.  This one is not the safety context, it’s the narcissistic one. If he wants chemistry, I’d suggest he start with a phone call, not a pic.
But there’s one other possibility the way he asks it - racism.

Long time ago - he gave me the crabs (pubic lice).
No fun!  I had to shave everything off and use medicated creams to stop the incredible itching it caused.
    Proceed carefully!

Yeah I'm not sure what happened. The 411 thread has been deleted with no additional commentary. I checked his ad yesterday and the name changed twice, the last being ACMarc. The ad was also on pause, but now checking back it has been deleted.
My guess is that someone gave him a heads up about the thread (or he googled his own profile name), he got spooked and requested the thread be deleted. There was a COM member-poster in that 411 who mentioned a little too much personal real life stuff about "Adam," along with someone posting his face pic. So I'm guessing it's all related to that.

There was a thread here on a new escort in Toronto. He was young, gay and muscular, and South Asian. His name was some variation of Adam Christianson.
The thread and Rentmen ad seemed to have disappeared. The provider can remove his ad, but what happened to the COM Deli thread?

I've pondered this situation a lot. There aren't many good options. I imagine many providers are uninsured. Some may be lucky enough to have a partner whose employer plan they can hop on. Otherwise you're pretty much left to the individual market, and ACA subsidies are decreasing while premiums are also increasing for other reasons too.
Wouldn't recommend the uninsured route... that might work until it doesn't, painfully, all of a sudden.

As a client I usually prefer evenings as that's when I'm horniest usually. I also like to hire on off days of work as even though evenings would be after work for me sometimes I can have an unexpected hectic day at work. Then I want nothing else but to come home and be alone to relax. I'd hate then for a preplanned session to fall on one of those days.
Can't wait to see your ad when it's back up @TorontoTwunk! I prefer younger guys and I'm close to you in Buffalo, NY.

Another way to address healthcare access is to own a business with one or more business partners. You can get a group plan through a broker this way, and there is no limit on what you can report for your provider business income. My partner and I are only a two person farm business, but we get to hand select our health insurance plans to suit our needs, and we write off all of our farm business expenses and healthcare expenses, including premiums.
With ACA coverage, you may only have a few plan options in your state. Same with coverage through an employer, only a few options that may or may not meet your particular healthcare needs. That may be fine for most people like me with uncomplicated needs, but leaves a lot of us falling through the cracks.
My partner has a lot of complicated health issues. He is only capable of working part time. This is one of many reasons I continue to work as a provider. With our group plan, a broker helps him hand select a plan offering coverage for all of his specialty healthcare providers. The premium is quite high, at over 1k / month, but he maxes out his out of pocket expenses early in the year. Virtually all of his care is free after that. Just one of his half dozen specialty healthcare providers, for instance, would have cost him 38k over the whole year.
I would be fine with an ACA or employer sponsored plan, but me being a part of our group plan gives my partner access to lots of benefits we wouldn’t have if we were beholden to employers or state healthcare.

I regularly saw a provider who had a pretty serious day job that let him WFH a couple of days a week.  We would meet at his apartment for an hour or 90 minutes when we were both between business meetings.  There was some coordination involved but we rarely had trouble finding a time to meet at least once every week.  It worked great for us both.

Nice! Yeah, my 9-5 is very flexible I also WFH all the time. In the past, I worked a vanilla job during the evenings; and it didn't work with my clients as they were only willing to meeting during the evenings. Hopefully, I find a good rythm; not looking to see many clients when I get back into the bizz.

I definitely maintain a 9-5 work life and a strong part time escorting life.  It can be challenging.   I’m exhausted 24-7.  But I make it work!
Typically I limit mid-week after work bookings to one in a week.  And I limit those to known regulars who prefer to bottom only.  That way I go directly from work to gym to shower to client.  I try to keep Fridays through Sunday as available for extended client situations as much as I can.  But realistically, I can only fill Friday, Saturday, OR Sunday.  Ambitious as I might get, I still do need day to myself.
I usually end up taking about 3-4 bookings a week.   There's admittedly all kinds of drawbacks to this situation.
If you’re like me, you want to help out every guy who reaches out to you, even if you know it’s logistically impossible for you.  I think it's probably part of my provider brain wiring, I want to show up and provide for everybody.  I literally hate saying no.  But I end up having to say no a lot.  There are entire client populations who are only looking during business hours.  Or weeknight business travelers.  Or I get endless recurring message from the same guys: "Available Tuesday over lunch?"  Unfortunately, never.  I think part of what drives me toward providing is the genuine desire to say yes to everyone.  So the repeated nos do become draining.
One of the benefits of a part time situation is that I don't run the risk of burnout.  If I show up at a booking, I know it's my only one of the day.  I'm charged up.  I'm horny for it.  I've got the mental and sexual energy to be who I need to be.  I have a confidence that my client is getting the best version of me in a way that I might not have if I was seeing multiple clients in a day.
Do I imagine my life as a full time sex worker?  Absolutely!  Is that remotely possible for me given the nature of the US health care system.  For sure not!  How do full time providers solve the health insurance dilemma?  No idea.
Suffice to say, the flexibility of sex work is a major bonus in my life, and I'm not looking to give it up anytime soon.

I do that now also.  The providers I see travel 90 minutes to see me, so I kind of feel like that is a fair exchange.
Dayuse is a huge help in setting things up, but weekends can be dicey as sometimes the hotels don't have rooms available.

TorontoTwunk reacted to + Act25 in Only doing outcalls...
I think the key is to just be upfront in your ad "I cannot host".
FWIW Back in the days before I could host (which I prefer now) and neither could the provider, I would never assume it was the provider's responsibility to secure a room - I took care of it - and this was way before Dayuse.

TorontoTwunk reacted to Simon Suraci in Providers who work 9-5, what are your tips n tricks?
I didn’t. It was all too much. After years of weekend and evening provider work (about full time, just opposite schedule) and working a full time 8-5 job in an office, I just about collapsed. My well being suffered, but I made good money.
So I quit my straight job and now work for myself providing services full time. Best decision ever, for pretty much all aspects of my life.
One of my friends works full time from home. He makes enough to pay all his bills. He does our work part time nights and weekends for extra money, and for his personal fulfillment helping others in this unique way that we do. He only sees regulars now, doesn’t advertise anymore. He works with me for clients who want us for groups though. Kind of nice having premium access! I think stopping advertising after retaining a certain number of regulars is his way of limiting what might otherwise become unmanageable, contrary to my approach. He’s smarter in that regard. More power to him.

@DznNYC has a full time job. He will have more to contribute. He’s in a busy season at the moment however, so maybe it will take more time for him to see this and comment.

I will say as a client that it’s nice to see in the profile that a provider has 9-5 job (or something to that effect) and maybe a note or two as to when the provider is available. It sets reasonable expectations and (hopefully) prevents me from asking stupid questions.

It's really all over the map in terms of times. I find that Clients usually fall into the following groups related to timing:

    1. Retired (9-5 works great) ✅
    2. On vacation (9-5 is possible here, you need to be in a vacation destination) 😎
    3. Working from home (These guys often hire for a quickie between meetings)✅
    4. Business travelers (Won't work for 9-5 usually) ❌
    5. Working a normal job (won't work) ❌

Of course it's up to you which of these you take on.

I used to have a provider i hired regularly who had a 9-5. I also work during the day. We'd always meet sometime between 9pm and midnight on weekdays, or any time on a weekend. Was never a problem.
