What I find more annoying is when the masseur has two different rates posted on rentmasseur and masseurfinder-sometimes significantly different.  

I have a conversation thread bordering on this topic.  I’ve found that so many providers on RM are typically escorts posing as masseurs.  Like seriously, Rent.men is the same company that operates Rentmasseur… move your escort business there and leave the massage business where the intended site is for.

Agree yours are. Your profile clearly states everything.  I'm talking about MOST who dont post info and then say ask me for everything.  That plus the TEXT only is a big put off to me and many others.

I will agree with that to a point. I think the poster, like many,  have just seen an overwhelming shift in the "ask me".   It seems to be the norm now.  Perhaps in your profile, state: base rate of xx and to share prices for anything extra.
I have also seen too many times where masseurs talk about all their extras, which I agree can be charged. But yet they are on the road and don;'t have ANY of those.
I see your side.  But see it from the consumer side - it is frustrating to see ASK most of the time now.  Then you have to dig through reviews to see what they charge.

I am curious and disappointed at the same time. What is this new movement  rising up between these masseurs on Rentmasseur.com? There are no price on the page . It shows “ask me “ for the price. It means I’ll spend my time from for nothing asking and asking and asking . Until I might find it. Holy fuck . 
I did some research maybe nearly 70 to 80 % of the have no price on their ads. It is such waist of time.

Yes I agree. You’ll get a better massage usually from someone who’s first a masseur than from someone who’s an escort and is doing massage to pad out the time. Masseurs are invested in giving massage so that’s their focus. Of course they’re good at massage, and the sensual elements and will go to intimate areas then your massage will be arousing and seductive, and your masseur will ensure it includes an appropriate climax.

Saw him when he visited Phoenix.  He actually does know what’s he’s doing with the massage work.  He does do extras and they do cost, seems that his bad reviews may be due to the added charges, but that’s to be expected and not cried about when revealed.  Communication is key with any provider. 

He’s usually at the culdesac at Papago Park most nights.  Why buy the cow when you can sip the milk for free.

Sorta surprised he went there since he asks for pics.  He’s attractive for sure.  Not sure what’s in his heart but not a good look

I guess he is confused and thought he signed up for Grindr.  Any provider that wants a pic is immediately a hard pass.  He isn't thinking about this right.

Fast forward three months later and we now have an expired ad with zero reviews.  Appears that this formula for marketing doesn’t work well.  Especially in this economy. 

Interesting thread. I’m not surprised that someone seeks an outrageously high fee. Some people mistakenly equate price with quality. 
 
What does surprise me constantly is how much money some people will spend frivolously - whether it’s on a companion, a boat or on a party - and how rarely such people have,  what I term, serious money. 

Actually, his ad may have been so successful that he does not need to continue advertising any longer.

I am neither an escort or masseur, so I don't know...but I have heard that the cost of an RentMasseur as is less than RentMen.  If that's true, then I wonder if a higher ad cost might be contributing to the number or high priced "masseurs" ?  But, again, there are those who advertise both places.   

That’s when you really know their intent on the site. 

That’s my whole point guys — exactly that — the flood of advertisers on RentMasseur literally flood the site as Escorts when the true reality it’s supposed to be for massage.  The same company owns and manages both RentMasseur and Rent.men.  How hard is it to just advertise where that demand is and where that pointed service is sought?  
 
I have tried all spectrums of RentMasseur types to find that a vast majority want to just escort and not do the massage.  I pick the guys with muscles a majority of the time because it’s nothing for them to give hard pressure which is what I want.  But as I stated above — I could list a number of providers I have found and they started great, but they pivot to escorting or drop out from massage altogether. 
 
Looking at the rates and reviews is one method I use to sort through who is legit and who is not.  But Masseur Finder isn’t any better in my opinion.  They just happen to regulate ads much more than RentMasseur.  At least they learned from the fiasco that was “Rentboy.com.”  Honestly, it won’t surprise me at some point the Feds either prosecute RentMasseur or it gets block from use in the United States.  

I simply avoid this type of setup altogether.  
 
I really wish that providers and clients who seek escort pivoted services would move this business to Rent.men.  It’s certainly segregated on this forum massage versus escorting.  Notwithstanding the fact that clients within the massage side of the forum still push the subject towards escorting regardless.  I’d say both are to blame for where things currently are on the site.  
 
It takes work to find legitimate massage and when you do find such providers they don’t stick around that long or they switch their service points to more escorting.  Like seriously if need to fuck that’s what Grindr is there for… I don’t need to pay for sex.
