I left feedback in another thread for an escort asking about Miami. I thought it would be a profitable winter destination and it turned out to be pretty slow/bad. The average massage rate is also about $50 /hr less than in other cities. Tons of latin guys working.

They started doing curfews at 5/6pm nearly 2 weeks ago. Definitely put a big damper on my trip. A good place to go otherwise.

I’ve been in Medellin Colombia for the last month. Currently there’s an 8pm curfew Monday to Thursday and restrictions on where you can go during the day. And full lockdown 8pm Thursday night to 5pm Monday morning.

Where the people are. However, I never see San Antonio as a hotbed, even though it is a population mecca. Also, San Diego gets a bad rap often, primarily from travelers who don't get love from the locals when they're there.
 
I'd say NYC, DC, Miami, Houston, and LA are where over 90% of worthwhile people are at or near.

Why isn’t Chicago on the list? Currently, NYC, Chicago, LA, San Fran, Boston are the top 5 largest LGBTQ cities in the US. Now, this may not correlate with propensity for hiring, highest incomes (i.e., San Fran, San Jose, Seattle, DC, San Diego), or the quantity of competing escorts for the same market. It probably involves a very complex algorithm, but if i were marketing towards the LGBTQ population, i would target myself to the larger centers.

Chicago is simply ho-hum. Yes, it's a major population center, for sure, but when I scroll through to find someone, it's a lot of meh. The two things that are the big attraction are 1. What does his body look like, and 2. What does his cock look like? It's really hard to stand out from the pack if either your body doesn't have it going on, or if your penis isn't drool-worthy. If you decide to make travel part of your routine, it is also a good idea to add regulars in each city. Folks you can reach out to when you are planning a trip - it really helps take the pressure (financial and emotional) off if you can line up reliable clients ahead of time. I have a regular companion that I've been the anchor client for over the past 3 years. I don't think you'll have any definitive answers. But I think part of the success of an escort relates to finding a "niche" that sets you a part from others in the market. To me that would be pretty difficult in a city like New York, LA or Las Vegas (or any city that has more than say 10 pages of Rent.Men ads) where there are established escorts that have pretty strong identities and lots of regular clients.
 
In that regard I think some of the more mid-size cities could be appealing because in many cases you would stand out a bit more among the sea of ads. I live in Denver and we typically have 3-4 pages of ads, allowing one to really kind of browse through the whole selection and seeing what's out there. Plus I feel like because there is 3-4 pages of ads, that must mean there is enough demand for both local and traveling escorts. And if a city has very few ads that maybe suggests there is just not a lot of clients there (but perhaps there are and they will appreciate you visiting).

Because those same jokers are likely running the same game on multiple escorts, and we should have some way of knowing to use judgement or avoid seeing a particular person, if another provider said he stood him up as well.
