Routing numbers are used to identify the bank you are using so it covers both checking and savings accounts. I used a savings account for my i bond purchase. I bet the site is crashing as this is the last chance to get the 9.62% rate.

I'm thinking Astros in 5 for the world series. The Phillies got a little lucky having to only go through the Cardinals & Padres and avoiding the Braves & Dodgers. And also the Mets who dominated the Phillies during the regular season. The Phils & Astros actually will be pretty familiar with each other. They played each other the final weekend of the regular season down in Houston with the Astros taking 2 of 3.

My savings account just went up again to 3.00%! Really will be enjoying looking at my monthly interest. See that's why I'm not interested in cd's until they are done raising the federal interest rate. If I would have bought that 18 month cd in the first post on here in early August for 2.75% I'd be so mad right now having my money locked up at that rate.

I just got my 3rd quarter 401k statement in the mail and it actually wasn't too bad! Still losing money of course but no where close to what I thought. 😁 I'm pretty limited in what I can invest in. The company I work for recently switched to a new plan where the positive is instead of a straight match on what I put into it they contribute 2% more than what I put in. The negative I guess is you don't have much to choose from for what it goes into. I do know 90% of it goes into stocks and 10% in bonds. So when the stock market does come back I'll be in good shape. I'm only 36 and already thinking I'll be working until 70. So I'm not sweating it at all at this point in my life.

This Yankees/Guardians series finally will be decided today! It feels like it's only taken 2 weeks. Imagine if it had been a best of 7!

It almost happened! Mets swept the Nats but the Braves won one game barely over the Marlins 2-1. So they actually finish with the same record but the Braves get the division due to the season series. With the new playoff format they don't play tiebreaker game 163's anymore.

From the article I posted it did say San Francisco was one of it's best markets with the midwest and south doing the worst: Bros‘ top 10 theaters were all in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. It did decent business in several other major cities, including Chicago. Otherwise, it has been a bust so far.

It flopped at the box office this past weekend only earning $4.8 million. I'm not really surprised though. It's a tough movie to sell outside of the LGBTQ+ community.
