I just got my 3rd quarter 401k statement in the mail and it actually wasn't too bad! Still losing money of course but no where close to what I thought. 😁 I'm pretty limited in what I can invest in. The company I work for recently switched to a new plan where the positive is instead of a straight match on what I put into it they contribute 2% more than what I put in. The negative I guess is you don't have much to choose from for what it goes into. I do know 90% of it goes into stocks and 10% in bonds. So when the stock market does come back I'll be in good shape. I'm only 36 and already thinking I'll be working until 70. So I'm not sweating it at all at this point in my life.

This Yankees/Guardians series finally will be decided today! It feels like it's only taken 2 weeks. Imagine if it had been a best of 7!

It almost happened! Mets swept the Nats but the Braves won one game barely over the Marlins 2-1. So they actually finish with the same record but the Braves get the division due to the season series. With the new playoff format they don't play tiebreaker game 163's anymore.

From the article I posted it did say San Francisco was one of it's best markets with the midwest and south doing the worst: Bros‘ top 10 theaters were all in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. It did decent business in several other major cities, including Chicago. Otherwise, it has been a bust so far.

It flopped at the box office this past weekend only earning $4.8 million. I'm not really surprised though. It's a tough movie to sell outside of the LGBTQ+ community. I'm not sure how enforceable they are as well considering it's dealing with an illegal activity. Like for instance if I sold drugs to someone and had them sign a NDA to not reveal my identity to anyone that isn't gonna hold up in court if they got arrested and passed my name to police.

And also Jacob deGrom's streak of 40 straight starts allowing 3 ER or less came to an end against the Oakland A's of all teams.

I was thinking of lowering my 401k contribution until the markets start to rebound but as of now I'm not losing any of my own money just a huge chunk of my employer's match so I'll just ride it out.

I agree with the comments above. Meet in public first to make sure it's all legit and safe. And run away if he starts asking for help with gas or rent.

Also worth mentioning I hired a provider one time who had kissing listed on their ad as an "into" but when I was with them they informed me they don't. So I always ask and bring it up as I stated above.

I love to kiss but my main reasons I would not or don't like to with someone, which would also apply to providers, are: -Bad breath -Bad teeth -Heavy smoker -Too much facial hair I always mention when I discuss kissing with a provider is to assure them I'm a nonsmoker and I take excellent care in the oral hygiene department.

I just watched the season premiere. Glad they finally shot a new opening! Was just an ok episode. Having Mark (who seems to get taller and taller) & Harris get drunk reminded me of the Roseanne storyline where Becky & her friend got drunk. That one was much funnier. Not sure what path this season is going to take besides Darlene & Ben moving into their new home.
