Oh no! That sucks! I just checked out their FB page and the last post is from Oct now. All of the posts (just their schedules really) from last month seem to be gone. Weird... I wish them luck.

I met him. I definitely do not recommend Andrew. I spent 90 min face down and then was told that the massage was finished. I was not happy how it ended. He didn't even wipe the oil off. Very disappointing.

I don't know. I've never been to Super Men's Spa before. Nikko is a skinny white guy (Greek, I guess by the name). But maybe someone else knows?

I tried Nikko today. I agree the massage skills are there, but I have to say his demeanor was not very welcoming. It's hard to explain without becoming more of a review... Anyway, I decided to end the massage a little early because he put me in a mood where I didn't feel like continuing.

I love that 27 publishes their masseur schedule weekly. I just wish they would update their weekly schedule on Sunday nights so I could plan my Monday massage ahead of time. 😜 I know one of my favorites is there every Monday but sometimes I want to try someone new.

I think Grandee is the most recent name for this place. IIRC, it was Manta, then New Hero and now Grandee. Good to know about Charlie though. Thanks. I don't think they really care what you call it as long as you come in for a massage. You could probably call it Manta and they'd say "Yeah sure, come on in!" 😂

You might want to dial it back a bit. I don't know @Manmed but he does have about 1300 posts on this board, which gives him a decent amount of cred. Editing to add that I took a quick glance at your posting history. Not surprisingly, it is almost exclusively about Shangrila and Utopia, which just makes me wonder who really is the one who is affiliated with certain spas... 🤔

I can't say that I ever really stopped. I slowed down for a variety of Covid related reasons (availability of masseurs, partner working from home, etc.) but I never really stopped. At the longest, I probably went about 6 or 7 weeks between massages during summer '20.

I haven't seen him since pre-pandemic so it's been over a year and a half, but he was pretty good then. I hired him at least 3-4 times, which is a lot for me with one guy. (I like variety lol) Sorry to hear that he apparently has some issues to work through (or whatever is going on with him). I would recommend him based on my experience but again, it's been at least 18 months since I've hired him. Feel free to DM if you wish to share any updates. I'm just curious and wish him well.

I went to Energy Spa a few times over the last few months, mostly because I wasn't able to plan ahead like I prefer and my regular guys were (understandably) not available at the last minute. I got what I expected and more or less what I wanted out of the massages there but I would not recommend Energy Spa in general. The last massage, for example, was very short. It's hard to describe for obvious reasons but he was in a rush to get to the end and almost left me to get dressed except I requested some more work on my shoulders to make my hour session last longer than 30 minutes. haha

That's pretty bold (or desperate?) of them to actually post that. 😲

Mmmm, yeah same happened with me. He was kind of pushy with the upsell with me too, asking several times. Big turn off for me. Terrance has an ad on rentmasseur too (terrenceZz), so maybe he's used to upselling. My first appt with him thru rm was good but recent appts have gone downhill to the point that I don't want to hire him anymore. I didn't realize it was the same Terrance/Terrence from rm who is at 27 until it was too late. 😕 Luckily, there are several other good choices at 27!

Maybe Antonio (Latino) or Mark (Asian)? Antonio isn't exactly huge but I'd say he is more muscular than twink.

Maybe with no extras, but at a lot of these "NYC spas" that may offer extras, I would suggest a 75-100% tip is more the norm. A $40 tip on a $70/hr massage would be on the low end. If you search the forum, there are a couple of threads that discuss tip etiquette.

@HungreeMunkee69 I tried Mark yesterday. Pretty good massage. His hands moved fairly quickly for the first few minutes for the initial "head to toes" once over, but he slowed down as he concentrated on various areas (shoulders, lower back, legs, etc.) and gave a nice massage. I would repeat.

It's not a spa. It's his apartment. He has a room set up just for giving massages. Nice set up but no extras in my experience.

Agreed. Good massage but only legit for me too. And yes, he is slightly chubby if that's what @Cubscout13is looking for.

I only tip 100% when I'm very satisfied and more if they go beyond, like venturing into escort territory. For me, if the massage includes "unrestricted mutual touch" and a prostate massage, they earn an automatic 100% tip. I don't know how far you were able to go with your masseur but 100% probably should have been enough.

It's pretty simple for me. I'm gay. I like men. I like dick. I fully support anyone who transitions but sexually, I'm not interested in women.

I enjoyed his performance, and I usually don't like the music portion of SNL, especial the 2nd (usually less popular) song.
