  1. For a proctologist, I’m sure it is interesting if not appetizing😀😀😀.
  2. I saw him separately and later together with his partner years ago (maybe 6 or 7 years ago). Nice guy and worth the time and money as I recall. I have not hired in recent years due to being in a monogamous relationship so not his fault that I have not hired him in recent years.
  3. The people at the facility will not question your relationship but instead see you as a friend wanting to help one of their residents. It seems they may know him better than you and be able to make suggestions. I think you will find them thrilled to help. Most “assisted living” facilities (not skilled nursing) have a small “kitchen” in each assisted living “apartment”. Such a “kitchen” will not have a stove but typically a microwave, sink and small refrigerator. Really designed for light snacks (microwave popcorn, fruit). If your friend has such a “kitchen”, your gift might be something that the “kitchen” could accommodate. It is wonderful that you are doing this and your friend will welcome whatever you send.👍
  4. The original store on Madison Ave was for sportsmen and hunters. There were mounted trophy animals heads all around the store. It was the type of place that if you were going on an African safari, they could completely outfit you. If memory serves me right, they sold hunting rifles. They could custom made a rifle to your exact specifications. I think that back in the 1960’s and 1970’s you could spend more than $20,00 on such rifles (that was REAL money at the time).
  5. Those pictures are maybe 10-15 years old if not older🥵. I think GW Bush was President when they first appeared😱
  6. I would ask to do a Face Time call first. That way you will know if he still matches the pictures which I believe are not “new”.
  7. Got my second booster last week after my doctor said the research was going that way. My first booster was last September and it was six months.😇
  8. If my memory is correct, on Friday and Saturday nights, the Gaiety stage alone had a dozen or more naked men (with hardons) willing to provide their services😀. When you would add in the men at the Show Palace and other establishments featuring males who were available, trust me: “supply” was not an issue.👍
  9. Decades ago, when I first discovered The Gaiety in NYC, I recall the “old timers” complaining that it was outrageous that the dancers wanted $100-$150 for a “private” time when they use to pay $25😱. These periodic discussions on this site remind me of those years.😀 Some people just live in the past.😥. Sorry, time to move on and accept the reality of the present.👍
  10. Daddy was a lucky man to have be able to “work” doing something he loved. My thanks to him for his years of dedication that kept this site up and running and created a community. This community is testimony to his work. Rest in peace🙏
  11. Yes, she and her husband Douglas Fairbanks and Charlie Chaplain formed United Artists.
  12. Not so sure about rising demand but certainly by rising costs incurred by the escort.
  13. If you hold a high dividend yielding stock in an IRA, tax free account, you can get a high yield that compounds over time. Eventually, you MAY have to pay taxes on those dividends but in the meantime, it compounds and builds up tax free. There are stocks that yield over 5%👍. While the principle will go up and down over time (as will a bond), if the company is a good one, the principle invested will grow as well. I suggest this if: 1-you can tolerate risk (but unless you hold bonds to maturity, you can lose principle as well) 2-you can take a long term view and hold the stocks over a long time. Do NOT put your “lunch money” in the stock market (or long term bonds), 3-see market drops as “buying opportunities”. This takes courage to buy when others are selling. Often market drops have nothing to do with a particular company’s future but just generally selling on bad news like the possibility that Russia will invade Ukraine. There are “Dividend Aristocrat” that deserve a good look when markets drop and yields go up. In figuring the yield, if these are in a tax free IRA, it is important to figure your net, after tax yield when making investment comparisons. Google “Divided Aristocrats”. 14. The “Chief” name was the nickname of a longtime mayor, Mayor Bartle. The logo is an arrowhead and not cartoon of a Native American Chief. The team has recently taken great pains to be respectful of Native Americans. However, I would not be surprised to see a name change.
  15. I’ve seen the portraits that Jamie Wyeth has done of Nureyev. The nudes do show him largely endowed. The Kemper Art Museum in KC did a huge show of these portraits. Amazing works. There is a play based on the friendship of Wyeth and Nureyev that out of his sitting for the portraits. https://mfastpete.org/exh/jamie-wyeths-portraits-rudolf-nureyev-images-dancer-brandywine-river-museum-art/
  16. Yes, he’s still hot but you are correct that new pictures would be welcome. His skills toward “mature” clients are amazing. I remember one case where he was visiting an old gay man in a skilled nursing home. What a mensch👍.
  17. For good reason about The New York Times. Now back to the question at hand. Did the NY Post get the story about the killing in Philadelphia wrong? If not, why start up your tirade on the NY Post? This whole discussion on the NY Post is off topic from death in the streets of Philadelphia. Now if you wanted to continue to help move the topic along, please tell us your local insight on why these killings are happening and better yet, suggestions to end the killing.
  18. Not just cars but roads. Roads are the root cause for there to be cars🥵. No roads, no cars, no car jackings, no shootings. Problem solved. Actually, the real root cause might be people. Now that I think of it, it comes down to people: no people, no roads… 😀😀
  19. @WilliamM At least your neighborhood looks safe: https://controller.phila.gov/philadelphia-audits/mapping-gun-violence/#/2022
  20. At the time, the subject based on a NY Times story was “How Do Pandemics End?” It cited the 1918, 1957 and 1968 pandemics. I did not downplay the Covid pandemic which was just starting. As I recall, you were denying there were pandemics in 1957 and 1968 despite what The New York Times said. I think that question is a valid question. I think a challenge to the Biden Administration is changing the country’s thinking from a pandemic to an endemic problem. Two years ago, I did not see the death toll we are experiencing. I did not see the vast stupidity of people not getting vaccinated.
  21. The articles about Hunter’s lap top seem to be accurate. How is that “right wing”? By the same token, The New York Times not covering the story (especially just before the election) shows how “left wing” they are. The lap top story is a legitimate story that should be reported. It is not a left or right wing story but a story about a factual occurrence.
  22. The main point, the story in OP is about the high level of murder in Philadelphia and the example of a recent shoot out by a pizza delivery man. The story paints an accurate picture of gun violence today in Philadelphia. There is a breakdown of civility and people are dying in Philadelphia. Murders are reaching historic levels.
