If not accurate, the trooper’s family could sue. Not sure why you think story is false. Why is it false?

I use its stories because they are not behind firewalls like The NY Times or The Wall Street Journal. If the story is accurate, not sure why the complaint🤔

Sadly, all newspapers seem to have a fraction of their former circulation including The NY Times. https://www.statista.com/statistics/273503/average-paid-weekday-circulation-of-the-new-york-times/#:~:text=In 2020%2C the average weekday, for the last few years. Younger people do not seem to have the habit of reading newspapers and “long form” journalism. Younger people apparently get most of their information online in shorter pieces.😥

A good story on what is happening in Philadelphia: https://www.inquirer.com/news/philadelphia-murders-shootings-gun-violence-2021-20211231.html?outputType=amp

With a daily readership of about 260,000, it is the fourth largest circulation figure in the U.S. That is hardly “zero” credibility. They report accurate news the formerly great The New York Times does not seem to care about. The formerly great The New York Times has had some credibility problems of its own😥. At times, it now seems the house newspaper of the Democratic Party. Best to be cynical of all news sources (including the NY Post) and realize their bias and read it accordingly. Best to be informed from a variety of sources (I recommend The Economist) and especially foreign sources to get a broad picture.

What did they get wrong about the story?

He fired six shots, not shot six car jackets. From the description, it sounds like the car jacket was shooting as well. In that case, some of the six shots were returned fire.

There were two major fires in the building a few years apart back in the 1990’s. I was in town for one of them. What you see today is largely a reconstruction.

One of my big surprises going from Kansas to school in the East was the kids had no driver’s license or cars😱. In Kansas, we all had “restricted” licenses at 15 and full, unrestricted licenses at 16😀. (The kids living on farms could get a driver’s license at 14 to help drive tractors and other farm vehicles).

Some of the pictures are from about a decade ago when I last saw him. His skills were timeless👍🏆🥇. One of the great escort experiences ever.

It’s been a number of years but AJ is a great all around escort.

Four for me BUT with these four we text or talk every day or two anyway. Of the four, three I’ve known 20 years or more and the fourth about a dozen years. All are long retired and we have become very close friends.

They look like the cast of one of those shows primarily for women like “Chippendales” or “Magic Mike” or “Thunder Down Under”. Nice eye candy👍🥇🏆🎉.

There use to be such a place going opera. Waiters and customers would join in singing. Always a great place: https://youtu.be/7Ydq3dgr8jI

Not to be a spelling queen, but I think the show was: “A Shadow Knows”

While I am more that glad to be living in the present, I still miss the Gaiety and the beautiful men coming out through the silver curtain for the Grand Finale😥.

He use to escort several years ago but opened up his own gym. Guess the trainer business needs some side income to support him. Pictures and information are accurate. I know several people who socialize with him and say he’s a “good guy.”

Great place in its day. Fond memories👍. Thanks for the reminder🙏

I still have a collection of three of the Four Season ashtrays. Back in the “old days”, each place setting had an ash tray. They had one for each season and changed them out accordingly. It was one of the most beautiful mid century modern rooms anywhere with those bead curtains that gently swayed. While never cheap, the food was always good. The service was excellent. BUT I am going back 40-50 years ago when the restaurant built its reputation.

The REAL Museum of Ice Cream is in NY: https://www.adroll.com/blog/unrolling-museum-of-ice-cream

Actually, the museum is in Missouri. The riverboat was on the Missouri River when it sunk. The river had shifted over the years, leaving the boat in Kansas. Unless you see the museum, don’t knock it. I have taken visitors there who live all over the world, and they have all found it a great museum. In addition, it is clearly the world’s best sunken riverboat museum🏆🥇😀😀
