I'm just confounded. I have no interest in the gentlemen but after reading the cautionary stories above, I checked out his Rentmen reviews. He has 59 reviews, all but 4 of which are 5-star reviews and are from a variety of clients, with only a few repeats. My confusion is how does a guy as bad as described above get so many positive reviews, and what does that say about reliability of Rentmen reviews. And for the record, I have, on occasion, been described as naive.

What a gorgeous man! Thank you for posting him. Are more pics of him to be had? Or he himself?😜

Since you indicated your work circumstance is a source of significant stress, let me offer an insight. I was a manager in a Fortune 500 company for many years and had numerous occasions to evaluate performance of those who reported to me; not all of those evaluations were complimentary. When individuals disagreed with my evaluations, I pointed out that these were my perceptions of their performance, and that if they wanted to change my perceptions, they should look at changing their performance. I didn't mean that as a smart-ass remark, but as a jumping off point for a suggestion. You wrote that "some employees had concerns about [your] leadership approach," but didn't provide any details. I assume these concerns are of more recent origin as opposed to older complaints. Given all the changes in your family dynamics over the last two years, spillover of stress from home to work environments is understandable. I suggest that, as best you can, analyze how your interactions and communications with others at work may have changed over time, and why, because a problem defined is a problem half-solved. Then look at ways to retrofit the best of you to become the boss you once were. The gist is that something's changed, so find out what, how, and why, then fix it. Sounds simple, and it is. But simple doesn't mean easy. Climbing Everest is simple; put one foot in front of the other and keep going up. Easy? Not so much. If you can resolve some degree of workplace tension, things might ease up overall. Also, remember you can do anything, but you can't do everything, and certainly not at the same time. Custer might have been president if he'd gotten the Indians to attack him over the hill one at a time. Make your "Indians" line up and attack them one at a time. Hope this wasn't too folksy and best of luck in your efforts.

"Well, yes, as a matter of fact, that was a gun in my pocket. But I'm still happy to see you."

By the thread title, I anticipated different content, but having viewed the pics, I now see the point(s).

He's gorgeous, BUT ... the tatts? His choice, of course, and I wish him well. But to me it seems like using the Mona Lisa as a post-it note. Better to have left perfection as it was.

He seems to have less a comma and more an exclamation point!

I agree with observations made on the progress Gays have seen over the decades and the greater freedom and protections now in place and would not want to return to the darker days before Stonewall. But ... I do miss hustler bars; they were more exciting than a day at Disneyland. However, tempus fugit. Nostalgically, I agree with Barnard Shaw that "youth is wasted on the young." Ah, if I knew then ... etc.

Picking up on "I like my men like my whiskey--aged 18 years!", I've also heard, "I like my women like I like my coffee. I don't like coffee." As far as the Scotch goes, I've never acquired a fondness for any of the Johnnie Walker labels, but agree that the Glenlivet 18 is a superb Scotch, with a golden glow and depths of flavor and smooth texture. However, my taste typically runs to more robust flavors, such as my favorite, Laphroaig, with its intensely peaty and smokey nose and flavorings.

Rene Descartes was sitting at the counter having a cup of coffee. The waitress came by with a freshly brewed pot and asked, "Would you like more, sir?" Descartes replied, "No, I think not," then -POOF!- he disappeared!

Great news from robear! Checked out the site myself and it's now working fine. With reports of others having the same problem, it seemed likely less a problem with my connection and more like something wrong at the other end. maninsoma's insight was spot on, to wait "until thisvid is fixed by its administrators." Well, at least I had a little time to rest my sore wrist.😉

A day or two before my problem began, I had choices of "update and turn off" or "update and restart" [no option to not update] when I went to turn off my PC, so the update was installed. Anyone else experiencing this issue remember undergoing a recent update before the problems started?

Overnight I've developed problems with playing videos on the ThisVid.com website. Problem applies to all videos I try to play. Problem started with a "Privacy Violation" notice (don't remember actual wording) but would not even connect me to a video. Now, I get connected to the site, but every video starts with a still flash of content them immediately goes to the message "html5: video file not found". Google search does show possible solutions, some apparently related to "credentials" sent to the website but not being recognized. Not being a techie, the suggested solutions make it seem easier for me to learn Mandarin and start watching Chinese porn from now on. Anyone experience same/similar problems or can offer insights or solutions? All other porn sites I visit are working fine.

I would love to dry him off, but I wouldn't need a towel.😜

I've slowed down considerably of late and will likely have to wait until my wrist is completely healed.

Anybody in the legal profession able to explain sentencing delays?
wsc replied to a topic in The Lounge
You're probably right about the defense always wanting more time and making motions for a continuance; prosecutors seem more eager to get on with it. For a defendant, however, that might depend on bail status; out on bail, take as long as you like, but denied bail, get this over with now! Also, the "speedy" part of speedy trial got stretched considerably by conditions in the pandemic, with court systems shutting down just about everywhere. FWIW. -
Love the whole clean, combed hair, no facial hair, not-a-tat-in-sight look of this wholesome appearing young man. The only improvement would be if I was in Dallas or he in DC.

It does seem a rather long delay. But those awaiting their day in court for participation in the January 6 Capitol riot have already waited longer than that for their time in the dock. As regards Mr. Kelly, my only take is that although you have a right to a speedy trial, you have no such right to a speedy sentence. -
Anderson Cooper Will Not Leave A Lot of Money to His Sin

This could fatal for the poor child. Without an inherited fortune, he would have to work for a living, and as we all know, the Bible teaches, "The wages of Sin is Death."
