  1. Not to add the apparent new Iran/Israel/Hamsas war brewing. Just seems like, can’t catch a break for long! Like it’s always something. I think humans are just become more combative and irrational, like in the 1940s. I almost kinda like how they “faked” everything was great back in the 50s and 60s 😂
  2. Hun, that’s not a similar incident. That’s completely different. In my case: I may ask if someone has read my ad, if they presume to argue or say something like “cash only” despite me mentioning first line in my ad, and including it in my website. That shows the person did not read my ad. I just dealt with that today. Someone expected me to be willing to drive almost two hours away, and book a room for the visit: yet says he doesn’t want to send deposit. Meanwhile this is all mentioned in my ad and website. So clearly all he did was look at pictures, and then look for number. All the other info I posted, went out the 🪟 That’s a lot different than saying you are asking if the guy needs an Uber. That is a nice gesture, but via text maybe the guy took it to mean: “I have to pay for your Uber too 🤨 “ Not even in the same league ⚾️
  3. Good array of options given, it’s always good to have more than 1 choice at hand. I think you drafted up a pretty decent consultation lol. However, and this is just from experience : unless someone already has a lawyer on call (and I’ve known guys who have lawyer friends which is easy), I’d just be “reasonable” about expectations. Back when I was younger and dumber (and too trusting of so-called friends), I’ve had a couple situations that required having to consult a lawyer. Lawyers aren’t always interested in “disputes”. They’re also in biz to make money. And a lot of lawyers are honest and will tell you in their free consolidation: “this isn’t going to make me money OR this case is too petty for me to pursue, you don’t have a case, etc”. Of course it doesn’t seem that way, but from the outside looking in, that’s what it could be. In a case like that, something like a police report and restraining order will save the $1,200 one may have to pay an attorney to handle it. And most likely, that’s what they’ll refer anyway. I actually briefly had a stalker in Nashville years ago. I reached out to the police, but it wasn’t anything promising they could offer. I think what finally stopped was, I can’t remember anymore what I did…but he finally backed off. Well I should clarify; it’s not that I don’t believe what happened: it’s just that it sounded like something else might have been at play (no pun intended). But I’m not going to gaslight your story, because only you and him know what happened. I was just moreso wondering about how did this and that happen in the way it did. But your honesty in that you were horny (I think many of us have been guilty of horny fog 😶‍🌫️ at some point) was understandable. But by all means, dude was out of pocket in the situation. I think he knew what he was doing…however if he was a real bait and switch, he should have just asked you when you walked in the door, and made sure he got the money. Or turned you away. To go thru with it, and then the next day come after you…just seems off. So you aren’t in the wrong, but I don’t think threatening to shutdown RentM was the answer. However I do agree, they should do some better screening and I’ve said it before: there needs to be a tutorial on RM training clients and escorts how to book and behave. People barely even know how to read an ad, let alone deal with a confronting situation 🤦🏾‍♂️
  4. Thanks, but yes I did catch your point. And I concur with the accuracy of such. Sorry I got off on a tangent there for a moment. I should probably clarify, this was another “tongue in cheek” type of thread that I know the answer, but it was more a hypothetical question. I know rates aren’t going to go down, at least not for the foreseeable. Even where it is legal, like in areas of Nevada: it’s way more than $200 and $300. If anything it would have the effect of alcohol, as you mentioned. Or lobster 🦞, which was once considered sailor scraps. As for being frustrated in a business of pleasure: I must clarify it’s not the business. It’s the lack of quality and accountable clients that are prevalent in certain markets, and who seem to gravitate to certain websites/providers. I know you can consider yourself privileged and blessed to maybe have a higher tolerance or less an issue in affluent areas. And being of a type that appeals to the “ideal” definition of beauty, may also have its advantage. However, not everybody has that advantage and some have to work in shitty markets where the clients constantly hassle, low ball, argue over anything more than $100-$200, list goes on. Even today, I had to deal with a gem who’s been trying to book since yesterday, and he was supposed to send deposit to confirm until, he didn’t: (I’m in Blue of course) That’s not business. That’s retail theft lol. That’s why Target had to close a few stores in some areas. I’m dealing with the same thing in my region. Potential Shoplifters, over text lol. It’s like, how can one not be frustrated dealing with idiots like this? I had one good client in the past week…and that’s it. $400 but, that’s not really ample when I’ve had several other flaked/bullshit bookings. And the past 2 bookings I’ve had, I’ve not been able to save anything because when 3-4-5 inquiries don’t keep their word, that just backs up things I was planning to do. So this past month, the money from a booking is low within 2-3 days. It seems only 1 client out of many, who are not liars out here. I have a reason to be frustrated, but just because I talk about it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy the business. I just don’t like people who are full of shit, and that’s why I have to continue asking deposits to begin with. Those same people will have me driving out and booking a room and will blatantly lie about coming and don’t. Been down that road before.
  5. I have to agree with @BOZO T CLOWNand @Vin_Marco. Even though the situation is upsetting for sure, it just doesn’t seem right. But I can’t say necessarily one way or another. Not sure why the provider would wait until the next day, and just not when he was there to ask for the phantom payment. Why would he leave, and then… Wait, who went to whose place on this meeting in the first place? And I agree with @DrownedBoy, it’s no reason to drag RentMen under the bus 🚌, and jeopardize every provider’s earning or give RentMen MORE reasons to lock us down MORE than they’ve already done (no nudes, no rates, no mention of even the word escort being allowed, etc.) They have no responsibility any more than Grindr, Adam, or your local gay bar or bath house has…for something happening to you, OUTSIDE of the venue at hand. It happens. And they won’t have any grounds to be shutdown, because it’s an advertising platform with no rates. I agree you should probably just settle and pay him a portion and see if that helps. You could always flip the script and say you’re going to look him up too, but: fire and fire equals: 💣 🌋 However, I just don’t 100% see it. I mean to go from “you can’t afford it” to him saying “let’s do it anyway” just sounds too messy and confusing. Like wtf. Even if he said let’s do it anyway, I still woulda said: “I don’t want to cheat you BUT, let’s be clear this is a free service right? And reiterate that before and during meeting, and again after if you have to. But yeah…sounds crazy. I hate hearing stuff like this because then some clients run with stories like this, and call ANY escort who asks for payment for a cancelled or session that went longer than planned/parts of a session wasn’t expected a scammer/blackmailer/etc. Hell…I even think many gay dudes think we’re scammers just for the mere fact of trying to sell our services in the first place. It’s just sad. There doesn’t need to be all this animosity in the biz if people were just transparent from the get go.
  6. This is definitely a factor I know. The amount of provider ads have gone up, and I believe that’s partially because unlike 2008-2016 era: there’s no Craigslist or backpage for entry level or lower priced guys to start out on. It used to be a distinct difference between RentBoy, M4RN and Backpage: Upscale, midgrade, regular. Now, RentM has basically become the platform for everyone. Of course there’s others like Mintboys and a couple others, but they still don’t even have the traffic CL and backpage used to get. And the ads are often weird, very vague: which also attracts tons of Timewasters and off-gay clients. But, I try to advertise much as possible and free advertising I can’t complain about. Otherwise yes, a lot of guys seem to be driven into sex work, which is why I said before: I try to steer clear of the big cities because it’s too many guys all trying to do the same thing. But even the medium markets like Kansas City are starting to get overcrowded, yet there’s nobody paying shit. They’re all on these hookup apps talking about how much they don’t pay for sex. It’s like…sad to me that some people actually have to write that in their profile. If they have to write that, they should be paying for sex, since they brought it up first ☝️ You’re right, and I discussed this before. For anyone to say older escorts can’t be equally valued: is basically discrediting the majority of escorts on this forum since many are over 30 and even 40 years old. And that…deserves a visit from Will Smith. Keep my age, out your f-ing mouth 👋🏽 lol And I’ve said before, I feel I’m hornier and more desirable now than in my 20s. And my friends are the same, some are jerking off multiple times a day..and I’m like, I can’t: I gotta save it for a client lol. Thanks. But it’s not so much just my number. Lot of it is coming thru emails and DMs on Adam4Adam. Such as this: I’m like okay, he not even looking for a pro. He just trying to give somebody gas money. That’s not even a rate, and not even something for me to entertain. But I’ve said it before, Adam 4 Adam “clients” can be a workload. I keep the platform because it gives the chance to see potential client profiles, but too many of them are just not educated on prices. Well if you ask me: one of my longest regs liked to suck dick and get fucked, then go hunting for Elk 🦌 and Bear 🐻 in Alaska 😆 Goes to show certain people need to drop the stereotypes ☝️ I been called daddy but I don’t go for no late teens ☝️ Early 20s maybe… I know that’s well intentioned but: I should just address this from my own perspective. Its great that you can afford to make such trips, and perhaps you don’t require gas money if you’re already in the area…or have other means to cover it. However, in my case: it’s not about gas money. When I ask clients for deposits, it’s not always that I can’t afford my own way or don’t have the means. However, I like to set a precedent from the start that my time is valuable, and it begins BEFORE the session starts. The concessions to drive, rearrange even simple plans with my day, spend money on hotels to host (and you’ve said previously you don’t really have to get a hotel to host clients because they host you, right?): all that is time and money spent. I’ve given examples before, there are some insidious people out there who don’t care or value the time and money I spend to see them. Therefore I won’t waste my time or resources going to visit them. IF and when they become a regular client: usually then I’ll offer to meet without asking for deposit. I even wrote a line on my website: I’m NO LONGER able to provide free outcalls and pay for hotels out of pocket, without a deposit to confirm. Even if they have to mail it to my P.O. Box. And that’s just to further emphasize: I used to be able to do it, but now: I’m not willing to do it. I’ve been in the game since 2008, and I’ve had times I’ve driven long distances or booked rooms for bookings and chanting; “hope he doesn’t cancel, hope he doesn’t cancel”. Sometimes it worked out, other times it didn’t. And when it didn’t, guess who I had to call to give me the $250-$300-$400 that I lost? Nobody. So now, I don’t take chances anymore. I don’t want to, there’s no reason I should need to. I can’t see how $50-$100 is going to kill someone, especially if like you say: they give it to you anyway. And in the free sex world: half these guys don’t even offer gas money at all. That’s why I rarely give them the time of day. Unless they are within close range of me, like less than 5 miles: I won’t bother. Because I’ve had too many guys, have me waste my gas to see them, and pull some shady shit at some point. The last one, and the last time: I drove 90 miles to see him, spent the night: and had to leave again the next morning at 6:45 a.m. because he couldn’t trust me to stay while he went to work. And we met each other 3-4 times. I was like, I might as well stayed home 🤷🏾‍♂️ that was $30 of gas right there, just to be inconvenienced. We had a good time, but it was completely soured by the fact I had to get up and do that drive all over again, after I only had 3 hours of sleep 👎🏾 In the world, or in the United States? Didn’t we just have a discussion about 1. RentM taking down our nudes? 2. And we can’t post rates on many sites. 3. Can’t advertise services on the street 4. PayPal closes sex suspected accounts 5. Can’t get a business license as “sex worker” to begin with, it doesn’t exist 6. sex work only legal in select counties in Nevada, not Las Vegas/Clark county 7. Texas just made portions of the industry a felony 8. Certain states regularly runs stings 9. can’t advertise as escort on Grindr/scruff/jack’d where majority gay men cruise for sex 10. Sex work is excluded in the terms of many card/app companies TOS. So…remind me again, what free market you’re referring to again? Last thing we need is for people to sugarcoat the under-protections the industry has. There needs to be a continued activism to decriminalize and de-stigmatize it on multiple levels. I’m not versed on the alcohol part, but as far as marijuana goes: I have seen what it did in Colorado. It made a lot of people wealthy but at the same time, brought out too many dispensaries. The city is chock full of them on every corner, moreso than liquor stores it seems. What used to be something like a hardware store or fast food place, is a weed store. It’s just really gave Denver a sorta “smokers” haven. I don’t smoke like that so I’m not an expert on it… However, it did bring about a “commerce” of sorts. The prices stabilized and were “justified” and expected. Meanwhile, more escorts started posting in Denver, and the whole market is trash 🚮 right now. After my last trip to Denver in August, told myself I will not go back there again unless I have a $1,000 client. I know there’s a local poster from Denver here on the forum, but the majority others have become rude, timewasting, unreliable. I had 0 clients during the 3 days I was there, and basically threw away 🚮 money I had made in another city. That was an example of a city I went to and didn’t get gas money from anyone: hoping when I got there I would book people, but ended up having to suffer with the setback. That’s why I don’t bother seeing anyone who can’t send a deposit. Too many guys from the sites lie, and have tons of bad reports from other escorts. So I think everyone, clients and escorts: has to accept not everyone is going to deal the same.
  7. I’m just going to let this question sit for a minute… Car Insurance Rates Skyrocket 17.8%—Why Is This Happening And What Can You Do? WWW.FORBES.COM Car insurance rates are up by double digits and drivers may not see relief anytime soon. According to the... I get the pay range for us varies greatly. There’s people out there who feel $50 to $100 is reasonable to spend. Yes one may be paying but, it’s not an all inclusive ticket to every service, for everybody. Some think $200 is ample to get FULL service (the whole 9+69 hint hint lol) for the guy they want. Back in 2008, $200 was about the average/median for most escorts with professional taken pictures on RentBoy. Occasionally $150 I’ve seen also. So how can it be 15 years later, prices seem to have stagnated in some areas? That said, I do think it’s something that is being understated. And it’s not even about “everything else is up, so I have to go up”. But moreso: why is there this idea that because everything is up, some expect us to go cheaper to accommodate someone? If a dudes says a rate of $250, but then a client says “that’s too expensive”: to lower it would mean to have a little bit less than what’s needed to keep up with everything else. Then again, I almost wonder if it has nothing to do with things going up: I just think people will say someone is expensive just for the hell of it. Or the equally flattering terms like: “you’re out of my league, too rich for my blood, or “I’m sure you’re worth every penny”. This is why I just wish there was a big billboard in the sky with a list of average escort or erotic masseuse rates. So when they say something is too expensive, they can just look up in the sky and have something to reference. Idk if these people even research it, or even care. Or if they are used to seeing guys who only do this as a side “hustle” for fun thing or what. How Much do Escorts Charge? An Accurate Estimate for 2023 PHILADELPHIAWEEKLY.COM Can you put a price on companionship? Apparently so, and this is exactly the cost. Read all about 'how much do... One thing for sure, the price “shaming” is uncalled for. On the bright side, (because I know some love to throw the “complaining” card out there): Most all the visits I do end up actually meeting, realize the value and often end up including a bit of extra. So it’s not those I’m talking about. I’m moreso referring to a segment of seekers out there, who don’t seem to understand: this isn’t play money on the side for everybody. Calling a provider “expensive” is like telling an artist their work is overpriced. It’s rude.
  8. Megapersonals Adam4Adam Mint Boys RentMasseur though most of those aren’t great in terms of catching gay escort clients, one can still finesse it if done properly. Even on RentMasseur, I don’t claim to be a “masseur” (so I’m not showing up with a table to your hotel, it’s not that kinda party), I’m a “relaxation consultant”. But, one needs to at least know some fundamental massage techniques to be consistent with it. Otherwise: I’m not too pressed about the changes. If someone feels they can’t get clients unless they show their dick and butthole: they probably need to look within and figure out what they can do otherwise. It’s not required, believe me. Don’t sell yourself short feeling you have to show the goods for free, to attract a client. Men biologically like a bit of mystery. I know gay men are wired a little differently (actually it’s women who are wired differently, that make straight men willing to wait 3 dates, or 90 days/after marriage to have sex lol). However, people should be willing to pay or at the very least, be a vetted client to see nude pics. Too many people are spoiled getting to look at free porn, free dick pics, etc. idk if RentM change had much to do with that, and I even notice flaccid “artistic nudes” are still being allowed. I worked with a nude Calendar company and they had a rule: your dick can’t be hard because that falls under pornography, and it will disqualify our fundraising mission (or something to that effect). So yeah: it is what it is. Personally I like the new change, it inspired me to go thru my 3,500 pics and replace some great professional photos that I haven’t posted in awhile lol. They aren’t nude, but just “sexy”. However, I still need to see us profiting from nude pic views. The work is only half done…
  9. Well, idk I just don’t think it’s going to necessarily be a huge blow. I mean: I get booked on RentMasseur probably more than, if not the same as RentMen, at least in my region. RentMen in some markets has just become a lot of amateurs showing nudity, almost giving it a trashy look. I used to really be proponent of allowing the nudes but: considering the fact that my pictures on RentM were more inclusive than RentMasseur, and people were still hitting me up saying they seen me on RentMasseur (though I think some may say that as an euphemism to just saying RentMen…) Especially since many will say, “I seen you on Rent, or I seen you on RM” well which RentM did you see me on, so I know which one! lol. Thing with RentMasseur: seems many of the ones contacting, don’t read the profile tabs. Rates are allowed, yet there’s steadily people contacting asking how much. And the requests are often vague. At the same time, RentMen hasn’t been getting me the level of bookings I was used to. Seems the serious hiring from there, has really dropped off since the start of summer. That’s why it’s always good to be 1 step ahead of the platform. I already have my website and biz cards, so if ever something changes again: I have a backup source. And if I didn’t have that, I’d be using other strategies.
  10. Whoa: let’s backup some. 🎥 rewind ⏪ the 💿 DVD. Based on what you’re saying: you enjoy live porn. And what do the performers do to you while you watch video porn? Nothing. Your pleasure is via the viewing of it, and the pleasuring of yourself. There’s no reason you should feel annoyed or offended by something that: you generally would be happy to engage in, and have no control over: on screen. Just basic understanding here. Now, if you’re talking about an actual 3som situation that you conveyed would be all participating: (not just watch: and if not, leave “Watch” out the expectations entirely) then there should be a conversation about expectations involved. Either it’s going to be 2 on 1, or 1 on 3, or flip flop between the 3. It should be discussed. I’ve learned not to look at the “who’s hotter” or getting the most fun out of a 3 way, and just enjoy it. This is the one situation where you can get away with being a little selfish: do what you want to do, or walk away if you feel you got your fill. You won’t be leaving anyone hanging, per say. Also if hiring two escorts that you don’t know, there’s higher chance that it could go down that way. You’re probably better going with a guy or escort you know, and then including a 3 party. I’ve even been in situations where I was the only escort in a 3 way situation, but the client had his fun buddy or whatever. Long as you have at least one trustful guy, it could help lessen that chance of hiring two hot guys who are just going to go at it, and push you aside.
  11. I actually have a handful of videos from a large collection that a client passed on: and a couple of them are not “porn”, but of muscular 🏋dudes just showing off at various events and such. and I know for sure, clients get quite tantalized when I flex a 💪🏾 here and there 😆
  12. I’m not a fan nor have a particular phobia of clowns (though I couldn’t watch IT movie alone, and another on Netflix that was terrifying) but: you’re giving the right language, in an understanding tone. Definitely giving a benevolent, Ronald McDonald 🤡 🍔 vibes right now 😀
  13. on a serious note though: I would actually say: you said it all backwards lol. First, one needs to know services and rate (listed on ad and website for those who skip reading and go straight to phone number). Then #2: client/provider can suggest an appropriate date. That way, we can at least get on the same page regarding how soon a visit is expected. If you’re trying to do a next day/same day booking: deposit is going to be suggested during/after the next step: #3: once you figure out day, location can be discussed. This gives chance for both parties to figure out how long it’ll take. Note: you don’t just text someone and say “hey where are you?” Putting the 🛒 before the 🐎 is not good etiquette. And before I even give my location: a deposit is going to be asked. This is for safety and privacy reasons. #4: Then a time can be arranged. Suggesting a time before those mentions could lead to premature expectations. That’s why like I said before: I don’t always throw a time at clients the minute they demand it. Slow your roll, homie. Let’s get the basics out the way first, then we can settle on a time frame. And it might not be right away, if you waited until the last minute from the get go. Like I’ve said before: I’m not the broken leg doctor, or AAA, or the tire repair you had no idea was going to happen. In those cases yes: it’s last minute, emergency, had no idea: requires immediate attention. But this is an intimate, luxury experience. Aka: date. People have to be a bit more courteous with these things.
  14. For one, I’ve found iPhone typing to regular distort sentences at random. I’ve noticed this a few updates ago, so some things come out sounding much different than intended. That said: The Deposit fears can easily be solved by reading a provider’s reviews and ad. Seeing how long they’ve been on the site. Asking questions or asking for alternatives. The issue is, some people clearly don’t read ads, to their detriment and my annoyance. If they did, they would see the positive reviews, along with me mentioning deposit in my ad, on my website and even a FAQ section that further explains that. If somebody has been hiring for 20 years, he should also know how to read a profile. So at that point, conversation over because: he’s probably sending out mass messages and probably not reliable one way or another. And as far as getting burnt, I’ve explained this in a different forum:
  15. I know some have said they want to hear some good word for a change from me, well here it goes: next day: Notice: there was no arguing or awkward silences when I asked for deposit. Issue is: some people do just the opposite. Appointment request comes thru, everything seems on track, ask for a deposit: no response. Or some entitled story about how they never paid one and been hiring for 20 years etc etc. And this guy has been scammed before. But he understood: it had nothing to do with me. At all. Real recognize real. No drama necessary. Here’s an example of a bad ☹️ booking request: The word “Never” is mentioned twice, then made to feel gaslit and unappreciated. Who has time for all that? I’m trying to provide relaxation and an experience. Yet I’m having to explain what I already explained in my ad: something I sit and spend hours perfecting to ensure everybody understands.
  16. Hmm, nostalgic for sure but: I doubt it. I wasn’t really “in the industry” during those days, but I used to like reading hot spots in Miami and seeing the escort/masseur pages. I used to think nothing of it at the time, but didn’t cross my mind that I’d actually be doing it some day. Plus I don’t want to go backwards. These days we have better screening, deposits, etc. As for RentMen: I think they deserve some grace. They’ve done a lot for us. They are the first M4M site to ever come out with “client profiles” (actually adam4adam/gay.com did before that but…as far as designated escort sites goes). They’ve also done things for me that other sites wouldn’t, and I feel they have done way more than what RentBoy used to do (anybody recall having to place ads in other cities and paying extra $20 to do so?) Overall, I’ve also had my concerns with the platform. Namely what I’ve mentioned earlier.
  17. Right, and by all means I’m not thrilled about the decision. In fact, what had stopped me from removing all my nudes is: I try to think about how porn has done it for years: you go to a bookstore, browse DVDs, and you can see lots of dick and ass action on the back cover. Definitely gets the juices flowing. And online sites have put out free previews and such, and I even have that on my site as well: for members who sign up. They don’t even have to pay, just sign up and if they want the full versions, they can do the payment part. But I’m just saying, if it is going to be the normal: there may be some silver lining to it, however it doesn’t sound like they’ve revealed that yet. I’ve been one to suggest to them in the past: maybe use our private gallery be a way to get paid either monetary or “points” towards the fee we pay for platinum boosts and memberships. I stopped unlocking my private pics couple years ago, and recently just got rid of the whole gallery and put it all on the public: the ones I want to display, and then the others in premium. I don’t mind people seeing the goods but, there’s just has to be a point and honest observation that: maybe some people don’t want to show all their goods for free. I’ve seen escorts, some who have even been hired side by side with me in 3som situations…with me who showed dick pics. So it’s almost like: how is fair for the same guy to advertise no dick pics and get hired by the same client who saw mine for free? That’s not a question but rather: it’s a fact. It should be equal level playing field. Of course I don’t know what providers may do in their private conservations, maybe they send out Dick pics over phone or whatever. I think with men4rent it was more than one thing though right? Like they took off rates, and raise their ad price exorbitantly (at one point $49.99 for 10 days platinum). Then it seemed like scam clients were getting in and emailing us fake booking requests, and it just didn’t seem like they wanted to do much innovation from when they started since 2003 or whatever. It was sad to see them go, and they were getting me the most bookings of of the sites. But they voluntarily closed after the RentBoy raid. They could have still been around today if they wanted to.
  18. This may come off as unpopular opinion but: I think we should embrace this change to an extent. I’ve lamented before that, it’s time out for non clients getting free material and nudes. (clients are people who show up and pay, shoppers are those who are just inquiring). These same guys look at the content, but may never end up being a client or worse, pretend to be interested in hiring only to fall thru. So not only getting free nudes, but free use of time and giving nothing in return. Even if they have seen other providers in the past, they shouldn’t have a free pass to “size us up”, metaphorically speaking, before providing any form of payment. Think about how Grindr, Scruff and others have swept online gay hookups by storm, and non of those allow open nude pics. Think of Instagram and the likes where there’s already so much “content” that isn’t nude. Even at a bathhouse, you can’t always walk around naked for all to see. You have to at least make the commitment to approach/get that person back to your bed, or steam room bench, etc. I’m already a step ahead with the website thing, as I been putting my content for pay for awhile. However I can understand nobody wants to be made to feel the “have to” abide by a set of rules, especially when it comes without a survey from the providers using the site. My take may be: they may be needing it as protective measure of sorts. Maybe they have plans to evolve the site into something more compensated based for the providers. And then you have the Rent.Men app and messenger which, technically may come with some restrictions to content. But like I said as the last word in my other thread: people need to be willing to fight for us, and each other. And that’s not physical violence I’m talking. But moreso: contacting credit card companies, contacting Apple, doing regular protests in cities, etc. It has to start somewhere.
  19. Good point, and also just to quote @marylander1940: by no means is Vin’s body not like one of the best out there: but, you don’t just have to be a bodybuilder to see an advantage. Even just having a fit gym body should still catapult someone into where they want to be. I was just talking to a client last night, he was explaining how the regional gays are all super closeted and religious and only want to fuck twink boy types under 25. So: definitely not the market I fall under. So by no means does that mean someone should “get outta the business”. But moreso, get into a market that’s more productive.
  20. Well in my case, I never ask lol. But I think the thing with the bigger markets is; before you get there it’s already plenty of providers who may have regulars or been seen by the client before one gets a chance to. That’s not to say I avoid big markets entirely or don’t meet anyone when I go: but I know it could take longer to find a client, and if visiting only a couple or so days that might not be enough time. Thats why San Diego earlier this year was the first time I had more than 1 client. Previous trips I had 0 or only 1. But when I got to stay for 2-3 weeks: I met up with 4. That’s why I’d see how @Vin_Marco is at advantage by default because: if you can live around those big markets regularly and catch the locals and travelers coming in: you’re set for the right direction. Issue is, not everyone has the stepping stone to be able to set up shop in a major city. I have mixed experiences. Where I live part time is only a few hours from the area. I haven’t been out there now in a couple years. It’s another crowded market with lots of traffic and also expensive overheads so: I tend to only go once in a blue. Not common, not for me at least. But I may could see a couple extra $$$ for travel/hosting. But having been to rural Wisconsin regularly over the years: people don’t have the money out there to pay that much for couple hours. For an overnight, potentially. I think a lot of people would go to Vancouver and Toronto. There’s also Calgary and Edmonton but, I don’t know if anyone personally who’s made it up there.
  21. Are you now descending to using racial slurs to get leverage? Should I just go ahead and report that? Because I can do that too… It’s not the occupation, I’m certainly getting pleased. Just because I talk about an issue, doesn’t imply unhappiness or incompetence. People have to step away from this thinking that someone wanting better treatment, equates to not liking what they do. You see it all the time with teachers, in schools, even companies like manufacturing. Flight attendants just as all. Sex work is the only industry, where people don’t want to fight for us. Hell, we don’t even want to fight for each other. It’s very clear even on here, you guys don’t even acknowledge the issue exist. You sweep it under the rug, try to shame and embarrass, while others devil advocate situations and deny the underlying reasons.
  22. Well perhaps inquire, and see what the response is. Might be the same or different than what you have in mind.
  23. You’re right. I was a contributor and did gas light myself. Next time I’ll just get a deposit, and not 2nd guess myself into believing 🚮 is anything other than 🚮. No matter how much he’s “dreaming of meeting me”. Now, can we just settle this and ✌deuces, please?
  24. Well that goes along with what I mentioned earlier about cities being better or worse depending on: no reason at all. I remember I had a bad trip to SF when “someone“ first got elected back in 2016. The city was in protest, and nobody came out to play. I think I had only one or 2 clients, maybe even one flaked. If that was my first trip, I’d have a bad impression. But having gone prior, I knew it was just a one off thing. Though annoying because I only do that trip once every 2-3 years. My last visit in 2022 was better. Also be aware: just because someone visits a city doesn’t mean it’s solely for appointments. For example, I have to come back to my home market regularly because: my life and relatives are here. If it wasn’t for that, I would have 86’d Kansas City/St. Louis off my travels long time ago. Waiting around for days to get a booking is not my speed at all. When I’m in touring mode, I normally don’t give a city more than a day or 2 to book. If no clients by day 2, at noon: Next ✌
  25. Ah okay, great. Yeah having clients who can host and are regulars can be of benefit. And Palm Springs/Los Angeles and SD are all within a Tank away (though still not cheap at $6 a gallon if that’s what it is out there).
