    In NYC:
    -WALK!
Walk in the beautiful park along the Hudson between Chambers Street and the Battery Explore Central Park: It's HUGE. Look at a map before hand and maybe see: The Mall and Bethesda Fountain, The Belvedere, The Conservatory Water, The Zoo, ...and The Rambles* . Along the Highline Take the aerial tram to Roosevelt Island and walk at least to the Roosevelt Memorial at the tip, if not the entire perimeter. Wander through the West Village, staying off the Avenues (which are loud and very commercial) favoring the tree-lined side streets. Sit at outside at a cafe  or restaurant and watch the crowd  -Take at Tour of the United Nations
-Go to the Metropolitan and see at least the Temple of Dendur, the Chinese courtyard, The American Court, The Medieval Court, The Greek and Roman atrium, . It's also huge: just wander. Stop at the Petrie Court Cafe for a coffee: It's nothing special except you can see Cleopatra's Needle in Central Park through the windows.
-Take the [free!]Staten Island Ferry round trip  just for the lark of being out in the upper harbor. . Be sure to time it so your ferry is on the water EXACTLY at sunset or a few minutes before.

Give him several hours on his own mid visit to decompress and have some private time (if he wants)!

*The Rambles is also a fabled after-dark gay cruising area, which at that hour is not terribly safe at all, or really that good a cruising spot anyway.

Not sure if others have noticed, but, if there is a large gray square above the link, left clicking within the gray area will activate the link.

I assumed it was happening for everyone.
I'm guessing an update to the system forgot to ask for automatic display of the previously posted profiles as live links.
I see a few members have, kindly taken it upon themselves to post a new link during ongoing conversations that started with a (now) broken link.

And these are the exact reasons that I ask guys to send a VIDEO with an important event of national importance occurring in the background -- so I can compare it to the following day's network news.
Given, no one has been able to do this yet in all the years I have been asking, I have to conclude that all providers are scam artists. Be warned.

I brought this up a few weeks ago. It may depend on your browser. The main fix is to keep it as a simple link and not to embed the link in the post.

I assume that a provider's hourly rate factors in the basic costs of operating a solo business, same as any independent contractor. That would include their advertising, and the man hours devoted to handling client inquiry.
If you're a provider with lots of paying subscribers for online content you've created, the resulting in-person rate you command is likely high enough to absorb time lost to fruitless inquiries. And, as a result of action depicted online, certain questions (about what a provider likes) are pre-answered. For the rest who don't want/can't afford to be on camera, there is likely a resulting imbalance in time answering questions about meetings.
Personally, I've never had to waste time of a provider in this way, because I know what I want from hiring, and I don't contact to plan for services until I've already done proper research READING their ad(s) and seeking further details available here to confirm alignment with my expectations. Picture-heavy ads with few details about the service itself will attract more potential clients than actual ones.
Bottom line, it's a cost of doing business of a highly subjective nature for a very niche market. Taking out frustration with this fact on potential clients seems counterproductive to me.

And while you're at it, make sure to request a large order of Beluga Caviar and 3-lb. Blue Lobster to go. That will certainly endear you to your new client 😀.

Unfortunately, it comes with the business, but you can always ask for deposits or booking fees and lose some business but have no stress dealing with time wasters.
Always ask for an uber to be send to you in order to do an outcall.
