I'm confused. Money market commonly refers to an interest-bearing account (similar to what you'd get at a savings bank), not funds invested in stocks. Is this account your referring to simply a deposit earning interest or is it invested in actual index funds? Kevin Slater

This thread may be of use to you. My quick points: One simple, easy to read book to cover the basics is The Elements of Investing. Pay off any credit card (or other high interest) debt before you worry about investing. Broad-based index funds (or ETFs) are your friend. As much as possible, avoid paying fees to have other folk manage your money. They usually underperform the market and overcharge for the privilege. Kevin Slater

Yes. They tell me there's a high probability he's not sincere (i.e. isn't going to show up). And he's likely to be one of the fellows I've blocked before, trying again from a new, fake number. In any case, at some point I'm either going to have to give him my address or show up to his, neither of which I'm willing to do if he can't trust me with a simple (real) phone number. I realize I'm an outlier in my beliefs on this subject, which means you have plenty of other providers to chose from who don't have such reservations. It's detectable because when I call back (which I always do) I'll get some bullshit message saying something like "the text-to-mail customer you're calling isn't available right now...". Yes.
