  1. I'm not a doctor, but I understand that there are a number of serious infections that can result in multiple organ failure, regardless of whether there is a history of drug use. Hopefully whatever meds are being administered will combat the source effectively. Some bacterial infections have become much more resistant to antibiotics through overprescribing or misprescribing antibiotics.
  2. Just saw a report that John Aniston died on Friday at the age of 89, according to his daughter, Jennifer Aniston. John Aniston was perhaps best known for his role on Days of Our Lives, playing Victor Kiriakis for a number of decades.
  3. I haven't seen hide nor hair of @big dale posting for quite a long time. Does anyone know what happened to him? I'm hoping he is doing alright...
  4. This gives me hope....
  5. My life is SO boring and uneventful compared to all of you!
  6. Sorry, what do you mean by reciprocate?
  7. Whose response are you referring too?
  8. Personally, I would be far too shy to send a photo to anyone. There are many people who have been judged because of their appearance, or assume they have been judged because of it. Or even judge themselves too harshly because of it. I suppose that means he would not meet me, which is something I would just have to accept since he has every right to structure his business the way he sees fit.
  9. I think they may be 4th cousins once removed... 2nd cousins share a great-grandparent, 3rd cousins a great-great, and 4th cousins a great-great-great. But this always confuses me. They also are 3rd cousins once removed in the other direction because one of her parents would be Rudynate's 3rd cousin because the two of them would have shared a great-great grandfather.
  10. It's good to see people so comfortable in their own bodies even though society might have a different expectation given their smaller endowment.
  11. I see where you're coming from, but I have to disagree with the conclusion you have made. I live in small town Canada where all salaries tend to be lower than in many big cities - whether you are an office worker, gardener, or lawyer. If I moved to London, UK I could make several times more per year than I do now. If that were my situation, I would not settle for what I was making in small town Canada when everyone else in the same career was making much more. And I would say the reverse should be true as well. If I decided to move from London to small town Canada, I would not be expecting to still receive my big city salary.
  12. Wayyyyyy taller than that. He is several times taller than the overpass in photo #11. 😂
  13. I noticed in a post earlier this year that someone on the board mentioned having known their great-grandparents and great-great grandparents - so five generations alive at one time. I think it may have been @Tygerscent if I am not mistaken. I was reading not too long ago about some families having six and even seven generations living at once, and I'm wondering if anyone else here has known their great-grandparents or beyond? I came close to having a living great-grandparent - my mother's mother's father passed away about a year before I was born. That is the closest I came. But some friends of mine still had a great-grandparent alive when they were in their early 20s, and if they would have had kids at that point, they would have had a 5-generation family. How many generations have been alive at one time in your family?
  14. Given the frigid, dry Arctic air that regularly envelops Edmonton, I would have thought he is 53 not 63. Lol.
  15. Our lotteries in Canada seem to be capped at $70 million, and anything above that becomes extra $1 million draws. And no taxes on lottery winnings, so you get the whole amount. No decrease for a lump sum either, except on some of the scratch tickets. Nobody needs $2 billion dollars ($2.7 billion CAD), but I expect I would buy some tickets if it wasn't a 5 hour drive to the US border!
  16. Was that comment necessary? Geesh.
  17. My grandparents' generation used to have as much fun playing little pranks on neighbours as they did going trick-or-treating, and my parents' generation went door to door happy to receive any treat, whether that was a homemade cookie, some nuts, or maybe a bit of candy or a penny. My generation was all about collecting the candy and then watching scary movies after getting home, and today's generation is apparently fine with critiquing the treats being offered. Maybe tomorrow's generation will expect us to go door to door handing out candy to them.... 🙄
  18. He shows one of those assets in his private gallery. A really beautiful.......... massage table.
  19. No expert here by any stretch, but I imagine it is very much a spectrum. Where on the continuum that straight becomes bi and where bi becomes gay (and vice-versa) is likely different for each individual. Sex acts are just that - acts. Whether a person takes part in the act does not necessarily represent where they are on the spectrum. Instead, it probably depends on whether the individual desires that act, or derives pleasure from it, that more accurately reflects their orientation at that given time.
  20. No there seems to be an issue with the link. But you can do a search on the RM site for the name, and that seems to work.
  21. Please don't take people's comments here too seriously - though comments can sometimes come across as too judgemental. As someone with very little hair, I'm quite jealous of yours! All the best
  22. Two days after after it was wrongly reported that Lewis had died, the news is now reporting that Jerry Lee Lewis passed away this morning. Strangely, two days ago his representative said he was 'alive and well' when he debunked the earlier reports of his death.
  23. I thought you wrote 'Abalone'... LOL. Delicious when braised with oyster sauce, but super expensive... hahaha
  24. Yes, I still wear one when I go to most indoor locations. Not so much for myself, but because there are others who are more susceptible to catching a bad case of covid compared to me.
  25. So more of a light snow than a blizzard?
