This was the first time I ever heard the name Sanker, so my own ignorance evidently led me to missread the tone of the various replies. Not the first time, and likely not the last...!

I definitely recommend the Art Institute and the Field Museum. I wasn't as impressed by the Shedd Aquarium, but that's because I've been to SeaWorld in San Diego and the Vancouver Aquarium when I lived in BC.

Why the sarcasm? Surely in a country of 300 million people there can be more than one party promoter named Sanker. Particularly since there is a 30-year span between the original Palm Springs parties and covid, right?

I'm really happy for all the Americans who can now go maskless without as much concern. We're still not there yet up here in the barrens of Canada. But I got my first Moderna jab this morning, so I'm partway there... though shot #2 may not happen for another 3 months or so. But there seems to be light at the end of this long, dark tunnel.
