  1. How about 'Kim' or 'Kimmy'? One of the indigenous languages of Labrador is Inuktitut (Eskimo), and the word for 'dog' is 'qimmiq'... which sounds like 'kimmik', hence 'Kim'.
  2. I was guessing an 1840 birth... was she supposedly born in 1842?
  3. Maybe this one will be set in 1960, with everyone gathering to fete the Dowager Countess on her 120th birthday... LOL.
  4. I found him to be clever, witty, and sort of vulnerable. Yes, he schemed, but it seemed to come from a place of loneliness - having to always look out for himself because he never truly believed that others cared about him. Plus the anxiety of harboring a huge secret about his orientation likely would also affect his personality.
  5. I'm sure she will rally... her sense of duty will prevail over her grief. She even broke her mourning period for an official engagement for a retiring member of the household.
  6. I think Brad Rutters could do an awesome job... hope he gets a shot. Aaron was pretty good, and I enjoyed Katie Couric too. While I doubt this would ever happen, I bet Obama would be excellent.
  7. Isn't it?
  8. Bump...
  9. There isn't a history of extreme longevity prior to the Queen Mother, but Elizabeth's Great-Grandmother Alexandra was about 80 when she died in 1925, and Victoria was 81 when she died in 1901. Not bad for those times. Her Great-Aunt by blood, Princess Alice of Athlone lived to 97, dying in 1981 I think, and her Aunt by marriage, Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester surpassed the age of the Queen Mother and died at 102 in 2004, I think. Interestingly, the ones who live the longest have tended to marry into the family, rather than being part of the royal bloodline. The Luxembourghish royals seem to have good genes, with a number making it into their 90s in recent years.
  10. My sentiments exactly!
  11. The ad seems to be gone...
  12. Canada also did a good early job with containment, but the vaccine roll out has been botched. Only 2% have received both jabs so far, and more than 8000 new cases yesterday. Hospitalizations are at record highs and many areas are entering lockdown again. Very disappointing. Like with many things, Cansda does well out of the gate, only to collapse in the final turn.
  13. As a survivor of sexual abuse myself, I can say that things like this affect each person differently and should be considered more subjectively. I know others who were assaulted as 6-foot 230 pound guys by much smaller women and men, who felt completely powerless as it happened. The key word is power. We also dont know what experiences Colton may have had as a younger person that may have made him more vulnerable to the effects of the groping. Reactions are unpredictable, and I don't believe its fair to assume he is just trying to cash in.
  14. Better a spouse than a louse.
  15. This is how I use Wikipedia.
  16. He's 38-feet tall.
  17. Not everyone is good at math, I suppose.
  18. I think his wife is alive at 80 years old or so, but both sons have died. One in 2010 by suicide and the other in 2014 by cancer, if I remember correctly.
  19. Hmmm... 'feel the sky'? Hopefully he doesn't throw his clients out the window or off the balcony - the 'new sensation' being your body hitting the sidewalk.
  20. Just confirmed my flight and hotel for this weekend! Can't wait to meet everyone... oh, wait. Looks like I'm a week late...lol. But seriously, I'm glad a good time was had by the sounds of it Travel is still out for me - probably won't get my first vaccination for another two months, and then my second around September. ?
  21. I remember math before some guy decided throw the alphabet in for fun.
  22. They are full of grease, which renders out as you roast them. Its like liquid gold and solidifies like butter when refrigerated - perfect for roasting potatoes and root vegetables. Hard to find and quite pricey to buy.
  23. Maybe he's suggesting you can compensate his time with oranges and lemons...
