Independent service providers set the price they require for their services. This is completely different from waiters in a restaurant who are generally paid a below minimum wage because customer tips are assumed.  The comparison is completely absurd. 
I pay the exact asked price if the service is as advertised. If the service is more than advertised, and I actually wanted the enhanced service, I will pay extra (call it a tip if you must).
This policy has worked very well for me for many years.

It is a legitimate take, negotiate for a lower price and go for it if they agree. If they don't they still get a signal that their rate may be too high. My approach is to politely thank them and clearly state that the price was too high for you, with the idea that they may eventually reexamine their rate. Of course, most probably won't but smarter ones will. I also suspect that many who see this as a quick way to make money by charging insanely high prices get disappointed and leave the business.

Agree with the last paragraph.  Most of these gents are not professional masseurs.  The "massage" is just foreplay for the HE.  Yes, there are few good masseurs, but they are the minority.
From my experience, many higher priced masseurs will negotiate and there's no harm in asking for a lower price or stating what you're willing to pay.  Many who advertise at $200 or above, will take $150; of course, some won't.  It benefits all of us clients if you negotiate to reduce the prices, particularly of the majority of masseurs who don't massage well and are just in it for the rub and tug.  

Interesting points of view.   After spending way too much on massages with extras or just having sex often causes depression afterwards.  What I really crave is intimate emotional affection.   Searching for that in massages has been a waste of time and money and left me feeling sad after those experiences. 

Same bad experience as the above two.  Despite his smoldering hot pics (he looks better in the pics than in person), I wanted the massage to end very soon after it started.

Doesn’t look as good in person. He is very skinny. Massage is ok. Does some reikl where he holds and waves his hands above your body as if you can feel some phantom energy.
On the plus side, he is a nice man and was very very orally attentive to the rear entry.

Sorry to hear this. I have never seen Shane, but I’ve had similar things happen with a couple other massage therapists.  You get along great, and have very interactive experiences over a period of time, then, for seemingly no reason at all, the vibe completely changes.

Beware in my opinion and experience.  Just before the session, he increased his prices from previously stated by him.  Plus, he said he expects to be tipped on top of his self-created price.  When I said no thank you, he berated me.
