3.  Not surprising but the questions were to definitive.  I would rather have sex with a hot man than a hot woman but I would rather have sex with a hot woman than with a below averagely attractive man.  Given equal attractiveness, i would like pick the man but there are circumstances where I would select the woman.  So as a result the 3 is probably the right score but certainly not definitive.  Some of my fantasies for example involve a man and a woman and my being an observer.  I never have fantasies about being with two women, but I do have fantasies being with two men.  My fluidity in these situations, are the reason, I do not label myself. I consider myself a man who has sex with men and women.  

Some initial ideas while I marshall my thoughts (and reconsider my options while I'm at it).
Where do you want to go. Europe, Asia, South America, other places in North America etc. How do you want to do it? Solo travel by car, rail pass, work it out as you go. Organised tour Cruise I've travelled on and off all my life (with significant breaks). I did a big Europe trip out of Uni, rail pass, random travel, youth hostels; a cruise to Antarctica; organised tours in South America (several days, and a two day trip from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls); and done city visits for a few days to a week. I'd repeat all of them, but tend towards self paced travel, but not everyone is comfortable with that.
If you want to work out the 'how to travel' rather than the 'where', you could go somewhere close at hand, even in the US and try something you hadn't done before. Two weeks in Europe might be an easy start, just in the UK if you want to try in a familiar language. Rail passes are still a thing (and good value if you want to jump on and off trains and see a lot of places), and Eurail and Britrail passes offer continuous and X days in Y period passes. Youth hostels in the UK used to be fine for people of all ages, and probably still are, although not as cheap as they were in the past. Many are in the countryside (and if you hire a car that can be good).

Perhaps one should consider asking him if he would do the detailing and do you for $400.  You were expecting to pay $100 plus tip, assuming $ 20 dollars for the tip, and you are okay with $300 for the session, $420 total.  Split the difference with him and have him do you and your car for $450.   I would also tell him, you are definitely worth it.  He left the door open, Walk on through.      
 
In situations like this, I frequently consider that I am going to die with at least that much money left to my heirs, so where is that money better spent.  I almost always pick me.  Those bastards can earn it themselves as I did.  You are talking about $2 dollars a day for a month.  Skip those lattes and go for the cream. 

@Ali Gator  Thanks for the update. I'm glad you two are in contact about it all and that it wasn't awkward. "You do you", as they say, and keep us updated on that fascinating neighborhood of yours!

I notice in the birthday section that our dear friend @Oliver has turned 90 today. I hope that he is healthy and happy. Oliver took over the Palm Springs Weekend from me years ago and built it into a huge success. Kudos @Oliver

I packed up and move across country, single and with only a few social connectiona where I now live.  It has been 6 months and in that time I have made a few acquaintances who may become friends.  Most of these have beenat the gym I attend which has a predominantly gay clientele.  The people have been very friendly, but ultimately, they all have their own circle of friends and so for the most part, I think I will meet people who are open to the idea of adding to their social group or men in the same situation as I am.  I try to be outgoing and strike up converations wherever I go.  When I started at the gym, I wore a multicolored fedora, not only because I looked damned good in it, but it also gave people something by which they could recognize me and something which might spark a conversation,   I had good results with that.  The people at the bank and the grocery store recognized me by the second or third visit and the people. At the gym several people came up to me and said they had noticed my efforts, most because of the hat but one said no it was not the hat but the belly.  They had been overweight and lost weight by going to the gym and he wanted to encourage me to keep up the work.  So my advice is either join a gym, wear a brightly colored hat, or be noticeably obese.  I chose all three.  
You have to recall that not everyone is looking for friends and their is no hanky code to identify who is and who is not.  
 

It does get harder.  When I was young, friendships formed with people who were all in the same situation as I was.  College, job, you name it.  We bonded out of common interests and difficulties.  Finding people with the same interests later in life has been more difficult.  It’s compounded by my disinterest in bonding over “things”—sports, superhero movies, etc—and my desire to form connections over common feelings, attitudes, and, yes, emotions.  Joining clubs related to hobbies won’t necessarily provide that.  Mens groups geared toward inner thoughts and desires might help but those are hard to find. Sorry, I realize I’m just commiserating….

I'm so glad for shorter shorts becoming the norm.  I love seeing thighs in public.

Look, my interests and passion are pretty well set and I try to be as open and honest as possible with them. I'd love to connect online or F2F with guys who share my sexual niche. I'm also on Fetlife as Letmeworshipit and on other sites under the same same. Wish there was a club or organization that connected guys like me who are pretty much oral-only and cock-centric. A place where hungry cocksuckers and bulging, priapic oral top feeders can meet, socialize and do what cums naturally.

For those who tested me and said they did not reel the quaking, they were not at the epicenter where there was walls shaking and furniture moving and an aftershock or two.  

I made it back home and did all my laundry and errands, but I wanted to say that this was a wonderful year!  Not only was the Trio dinner excellent, but I met so many new people and reconnected with some old ones and got to know them on a deeper level. And I learned how to play the Five Crowns card game for the first time!
And the lemon bars were a hit! Good ice breaker and I actually met some cute guys outside the forum over them (and I feel sort of proud that they were better than the ones served at the Trio)! Maybe next year, I'll bring my homemade apple pie bars with caramel sauce.

Dinner and pool party went well. Weather was perfect.  Suny and in the low 90s. Lots of good looking men in little to no clothes in the pool.  Most of them huddled around our host Oliver. Food at Trio was better than in the past and the menu at the pool party was superb.  Breakfast tomorrow will put this years event to bed but I am sure there were other bedtime activities going on as well.  

Second one in the pool, but the first to post about the fantastic pool party. So great to get reacquainted - (had to use spell-check for that word, ha ha) with people from years' past and also meet new people. 
This was my first time utilizing the "fun room" - next time I won't mind if the door stays open. I like my talent to be witnessed (wink). I enjoyed changing outfits as often as the wind came and went. I did a thong, wrestling singlet, swim bikini, and back to the thong rotation. Can't wait until 2026!
