I mean you're not wrong about adding extra people, though most of their locker facilities are generously appointed and offer a lot of space. Pre-pandemic they used to have 2-3 attendants on at all times, then that dwindled to one, and then there would be hours that went by without seeing any. Mask wearing, social distancing, and cleanliness are not ineffective measures, but the science is still out on sharing a steamroom or sauna with someone even while wearing a mask. Hopefully it doesn't create some new strain of superCOVID. "Burke-Williams Variant" sounds posh as fuck though. I personally will not be visiting any time soon.
