I may have screwed up in the original question and answer. Let me get rid of the pesky pronouns. A is in second place. B passes him (or her with deference to @FreshFluff) What place is B in?

Ok so I'm on the outskirts of my family. I mean I love them, and they love me. But my life being gay is so different from theirs --being or having been married, having children, and now having grandchildren -when I've only had one even semi-semi-semi-serious relationship in my life and don't date much. But I don't want to leave them. And to tell you the truth, if I were straight, but everything else in my life were the same-I'd probably still be on the periphery as I'm kind of a quirky guy -I know y'all are all saying-"No, Not you Gman!!" But I have to admit I am. In addition I don't make friends easily. But if I could move and could live well, I think I'd choose London. After all-and I don't know if it's just me or not. But I've often thought to myself-and you can quote me on this, " When you're tired of London, you're tired of life"

No one has an answer? I think I'd be in second place. But I'm not sure if I'm making some kind of logical fallacy or not.

I've always envied guys with visible Adam's Apples. I don't have one. Now I'm overweight (and was also as a child), so you might think it's from that. But even when I was semi slim from puberty until my early 30's, I didn't have a visible one. Also my voice is on the higher side. I'm in my 60's, and still on the phone occasionally some people think I'm female. What say you all?
-
Or those with a lot of Common Sense? Someone posted this on FB. I think I know the answer. But I'm not sure. AI on google gave me what I think is a wrong answer. So where else would I come but to my buds here on the Forum? So here it goes. May the best logician win. I’m in second place on a race, and you pass me. What place are you in?

I didn't quite understand -actually didn't understand at all about the 'pet allergy.'

I'm fairly sure you can. There should be contact info you can look up somewhere on the site.

I see it now, thanks. I was looking in the list of what he was into rather than the description of his traits.
-
When I look at the ad using the newer version of RM, there are conversation bubbles above a plus icon. You can try to send him a message.
-
Did you report him to Rentmen about the false pictures?
-
He might need to change his ad. It does say 'versatile/top.'
-
Just a question -did he change his ad? I didn't see 'smoking' listed. And I didn't see any pictures showing him smoking.
-
He lists 'boyfriend experience.' But I pity his as he doesn't list kissing.
-
I'm glad you liked him. It's nice to find guys we click with. I actually prefer a bit more muscular and guy-next-door looking. Plus the not really into kissing would almost definitely rule him out for me.

Giving in to a stereotype: Musicals, best parts?
+ Gar1eth replied to + Just Chuck's topic in Live Theater & Broadway
I love musicals. But there's a caveat. Usually I only like the more traditional stuff for -so I guess I fall into the 'blue-haired lady' demographic even though I'm bald -and male. But I'll have to admit that JC Superstar is not my favorite although I do like some of the songs. I used to have several CD versions of Joseph. I'm also not that fond of Hair or Godspell although I do like some of the songs. I've never been that fond of Caberet. The first NY professional show I saw was The Fantastiks when I was about 16. I was at camp in NY State for 6 weeks, we went into the city for one day. I had actually seen a local production a few months earlier and liked that one better. I saw some touring companies over the years after that-but I was 28 before I got to the theater 'Mecca' London. I was there for 4 weeks. And I saw Les Miserables--and LOVED it. I do like Phantom-although I like Les Miserables more -but spoiler alert-the first time I saw it-at the beginning when Raoul is so distraught-I thought that he had lost Christine years before. And was reminiscing about that. Then at the end I find he's the one whom she chose-it messed up my understanding. To really figure out what was going on, I had to read a synopsis online. And I saw Pippin when the new production just came out. I didn't see the Leading Player who ended up winning the Tony. The day I saw it was possibly the day after they had finished the cast album and possibly the announcement for the TONYS had come out. She apparently had been doing interviews and needed vocal rest. Her understudy was great though. And yes, I love Wicked although I don't think it's a perfect show. It seems to me Madam Morrible and the Wizard become evil without a lot of transition. One of the most perfect musicals still -even though it's old-- is Guys and Dolls. I also ought to add that four of the first movies I remember seeing as a child are musicals. The first two are Mary Poppins and Bambi. The next two are Hard Days Night and Sound of Music. I remember liking them all. -

He's currently in Plano, Texas. And assuming @azdr0710's posting is correct -which I do-he is using at least one of Diego San's photos.

I'm going to date myself here. But when people talk about this, it always makes me think of that scene in the movie "Porky's" where the guys have hired a stripper and think they are going to get laid. Pee Wee starts enumerating what order the guys are going to go in "Hey, wait. I got sloppy seconds, you got ticklish thirds, you got filthy fourths, you got fall-in fifths, you're slippery sixth..."

Any idea when it's from?

If he's really charging $1000 for a two hour meeting, then I'd probably want as much assurance that it was going to be a nice time as I could possibly get. Using that as my determining factor, I just don't think this guy would pass the sniff test. Yes the majority of people have said he's a good guy. But there's just enough mediocre statements to make me hesitate. On the other hand if $1000 is just a spit in the ocean for you, then I'd say go ahead.

Yet another fine dining establishment is struggling
+ Gar1eth replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
I used to love Boston Market back in the late 1990's and early to mid 2000's. Then I moved to an area that didn't have them and lived there around 8 years. When I moved back to Texas 7 years ago, I would occasionally go there. But there weren't usually any extremely close to me, so I'd have to make an effort. As a disclaimer I am not a business person and have no knowledge of their corporate practices. But one thing I've thought about-back when Boston Market started in the mid 1980's, I don't think it was that common for grocery stores to sell cooked roasted chicken. Maybe some did-and I'm assuming Costco did. But nowadays you can pick up an entire roasted chicken at Walmart for $4.99. And it's not that bad. They aren't as good as the ones you could get at Boston Market. But they are close. And you can pick up whatever fixins you want as a side dish at Walmart too. So I'm thinking there's just no way Boston Market could compete with grocery store prices. I will miss their meatloaf though. -
Back to chicken cacciatore-I love it. I frequently order it when go to Italian restaurants. I've even made it a few times. About four years ago I tried making it starting around 1 AM in the morning. That was a mistake. I was browning the chicken breasts, and the rising smoke set off the fire alarm. I couldn't continue because other people in the house were trying to sleep. I ended up throwing the chicken breasts away. Last time I made it -about two years ago-I used an Instant Pot. I made it for my Mom and myself. It turned out pretty good, but my Mom doesn't like bell peppers. So I had to leave them out.

My take as one who formerly hired (and was never handsome or in shape and is even worse now) is that @Joshiehas done everyone a big favor. If you're handsome and you know it clap-oh wait that's a song -the older I get the more my attention span wanders. As I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, if you're handsome and in shape, Freddie is apparently the cat's pajamas not to mention the bee's knees. If you aren't, then you've been warned. You could always see if you're the exception that proves the rule. Maybe you might be. But as for me-if I were still hiring, I'd want more of a sure thing. The monetary costs of this hobby these days from what I read on here has increased exponentially compared to the general cost of living. It might have been one thing to try for an iffy experience-at say $250 for a two hour meet, back when I first started hiring in 2002, it's an entirely different circumstance when a two hour visit these days might cost upwards of $400. One other thing though. What I said above was all about the client end of things. My thoughts on Freddie as an escort is that he is less than honest. In this case if the reports from some of the members in this thread are true, Freddie lies by omission. He doesn't state in his ad that he can really only perform if the client is in shape and good-looking. Sure if he did say that in his ad, he wouldn't make as much money. But it would be more honest. I can remember being turned down in the lead up to a meeting by several guys when I described myself. I remember one escort told me he had been overweight as a child and had problems with overweight clients. Being told that was upsetting and depressing when it was someone I had really wanted to meet. But in the long run I'm glad they told me as it would save me from being hurt (and poorer) after a dud of a meeting.
