  1. His gym is only 16 miles from where I live. We were practically neighbors. Gman
  2. I felt much the same about him although in 1978 when he won the gold for the USA, I was 17. I had been attracted to good looking guys for a long time. And here he was cute and athletic. I might not have figured out 100% that I was gay. But I'm sure I suspected something (After him came Bart Conner who I thought was even cuter). Gman
  3. I'm not sure I'm understanding. I just assumed it was the northern part of Hollywood. If there is a more esoteric meaning, it totally escaped me. So I see it is a euphemism for Canada. California/Canada-same thing. Gman
  4. May I safely assume you're somewhere in California? Gman
  5. Yes, but since ours combines a sprayer it can be pulled down and easily over. And even without the sprayer function, the faucet is tall enough and can be turned to the left so that it gets into the left hand side of the sink easily. Yes but as a right hander, I'd still want a more even division-because washing and peeling into a small left-sided sink still puts my body far to the left to accommodate my right hand. Well it could be. But don't forget-this is the same position my sink is in too although our left sink is larger. Ugh!! I hate that too. The owner here hates to use the disposal for some reason. I doubt it's to help with composting as there's no compost pile. I've lived in a lot of places without disposals. I prefer disposals.it just makes a mess trying to clear out the strainers all the time. Plus with the small sink not being that usable-inadvertently washing you would do in a normal sized sink gets accidentally done in the one on the right-the one without a disposal. In the year I've lived here, it's gotten stopped up at least twice. At previous homes with both sides of the sink normal sized and a working disposal, I remember very few stop ups. And let's also not forget the stupid faucet where you can't get complete hot water without turning it on full force. ?? Gman
  6. This kitchen sink is very close to the one where I live. The main difference being the faucet on mine is situated to the right. But it is a combined faucet-sprayer. So the faucet can be pulled down and over to the left. Also the left side may be a bit wider and deeper at my domicile. But I don't really understand this sink. For one thing the left side is too shallow and too narrow. For another thing-and as the disposal is on the left-I'm assuming the thought is that you'll just scrape the food off into the left side and do the washing and rinsing on the right. But I'm right-handed as are the majority of people. I prefer holding the dish in my left hand and then holding whatever instrument I'm using to scrape the dish in my right hand where I have better fine motor control. That means I have to stand way to the left of the sink to get my right hand in position to scrape food off into the left hand sink. And the left hand side of the sink is small. So I can easily miss it. Am I doing something wrong or was this sink designed for a lefty? Oh and to get the hottest water you have to turn on the faucet full force which causes the water to splash everywhere when it hits a dish. I really hate this sink!!!??? Gman
  7. Being well-hung and handsome gives you a lot of courage (so I've heard). Gman
  8. We here in these latter days stand on the shoulders of giants who have gone before us. But one thing-while the principles of comedy might be somewhat timeless-individual jokes or comedic situations probably aren't as they often depend on local knowledge. Take for example the comedies of the ancient authors/playwrights. They're known-but I might go so far to say that they aren't well-known. Tragedy on the other hand is usually what is considered timeless. Even with Shakespeare, while his comedies and tragedies are both known, the tragedies are usually better known. Gman
  9. The above is the only type of cream pie that I like. The other type is just ? Gman
  10. While it doesn't excuse him, I get the feeling escorting is more a side thing for him. Look at the way he's taken his ad on and off since he 1st started. I don't think I ever remember you doing that, Benjamin. He seems to be a good guy if you can get him. But I don't think I'd ever try planning something weeks in advance with him. Gman
  11. Well I think I screwed up-not in a good way though. So we met last night. We skipped the traditional third meeting (I think that is more a movie trope for guy/girl matchups anyway) and decided to know each other biblically last night. It was ok. I mean it was nice. Unfortunately after being all endorphined out, I think I probably babbled too much afterwards-and that was all self-induced babbling. I was not on any exogenous mood enhancers. To tell the truth-and I doubt any of you can tell from my usual posts:p? -I'm a pretty talky fellow before sex too. But to paraphrase a popular adage-if I continue living-there's a minuscule chance I'll learn. So if he doesn't call again-while really disappointing--here's to a hopefully better experience next time. Gman
  12. He's escorted before. Is he not advertising now? Gman
  13. The character actress Peggy Pope has just died. She was in multiple things over the years. Here's a scene from Soap. I will have to say au contraire that there weren't any live gays in Texas at the time. I was in high school or college when it was on and not actively 'practicing,' but I was there. Gman
  14. Now that you mention this, I think I recall hearing/reading something about this. I always had a vague interest in Billy-don't hate me. He shore is pretty. And for a while 5 years or so ago he was was based in Olympia, Wa-not far from me in Tacoma. Events since have probably shown that I missed a bullet by not meeting with him. Gman Gman
  15. Who is Gage? I thought he was married to Seth. Gman
  16. Today when cutting the pumpernickel, I realized that I had been cutting bread machine loaves wrong for years. If you take the picture above, I had always been taking the knife and trying to slice by having the knife go down one side as it's pictured-parallel to the long axis of the bread Today I turned the bread on it's side and sliced parallel through the bottom, i.e. perpendicular to the long axis of the bread. It made a much better slice!! Gman
  17. Thanks, Fluff. He mentioned having more women friends than men. And I don't think all of those were sex partners. He also said he had girlfriends growing up and some play time with guys Right now he has a few women he sees-he's part of one or several poly groups., and he says he's a top with them-possibly dominant. And while he says he's not a sub with men, he is a bottom, wants that type of masculine encounters in his life. But where you might think-ok he's basically straight-he's just one of those guys who likes prostate stimulation, he says he's not into one night stands so much, prefers to be friends with his sex partners -at least on the male side (I don't care that much about his female encoutners), really enjoyed making out with me, and got nicely hard from it as far as I could tell from feeling his groin thru his pants while we kissed. So in his case it's not just that he wants to be "pegged," he also seems to enjoy the emotional component too. Gman
  18. And no that's not a euphemism for something sexual!! It actually came out pretty good. If anyone is interested, I have the recipe. I had to reduce proportions as it would have been way too big for my breadmaker as originally written. When I did the reduction-actually the website the recipe was on did the adjustments-it would list 1 cup bread flour + 1 tablespoon + 1 tsp. I know baking measurements often send to be fairly exact. But I pretty much eliminated the teaspoon and sometimes the tablespoon. If the recipe is that finicky that a tablespoon makes a difference--considering how much larger a cup is than a tablespoon-then that's probably too finicky a recipe for me to want to attempt. (Same thing goes for butter in most recipes. If the recipe is that finicky that using salted butter makes an actual change in the taste, then I probably don't need to be attempting that recipe) I was having trouble finding the rye flour. I finally found some Bob's Red Mill Organic at Amazon for $10.93 for a 20 oz package. That comes to 55 cents an ounce. It came from the manufacturer. But if you go to Bob's Red Mill site, they say this size is out of stock. And you can only buy a 25 pound bulk size for $38.90 (which comes to 10 cents an ounce). I don't know if that's a mark up on Amazon, or if that's what the 20 ounce goes for in the store, ot if you could find it on the Bob's Red Mill site. But after I paid the $10.93 for 20 ounces, and it was too late to cancel, I found that Central Market-an upscale gourmet grocery store with only 10 locations-all in Texas, sells it in their bulk section packaged in (approximately) one pound containers for $1.49 a pound ( 9 cents an ounce)?? Of course I don't know the provenance of the bulk flour. But unless it's contaminated with heavy metals, I'll gladly play 9 cents an ounce for unbranded compared to 55 cents at Amazon!! Gman
  19. The second one can't be viewed. But the first one shows up in all its, uhh, glory. And after seeing it, I'll repeat my previous assertion now with picture proof to back it up, "But exotic stuff doesn't look so good on us 'full-figured' guys."??? Gman
  20. Well they'll be clean. But exotic stuff doesn't look so good on us "full-figured" guys. Gman
  21. But that's not funny ? Gman
