UGH - that sounds terrible!  Makes me appreciate my commute even though sometimes the walk down two flights of stairs to my office from the bedroom seems long (I work from home).  Ha!  Good luck!  Hope that coffee was good.

I now keep my credit cards in one of those wallets that block skimmers. A few years ago I went to Walgreens and only had my discover card in wallet. I had never used it and several days later charges started appearing on my card for various stores including Apple. Of course I disputed the charges and was not held liable.

I still don’t understand why the US is 30 years behind the rest of the world when it comes to restaurant and bar credit card transactions.

They pioneered that practive a couple of decades ago. Since then, other issuers have followed suit.
I doubt RM is the culprit. Like others, I've used credit cards there with absolutely no issues. If someone made a bunch of charges that originated in Miami, including one in the cruise ship gift shop, a card was present. The probability that your Rentmen charge was the source of information used to make a facsimile of your card and that facsimile being used in Miami three days later is very, very slim.

AMEX is great when it comes to security breaches. They have programs that identify your spending habits and immediately contact you when something seems out of character.

Last week I paid for an annual subscription on my Rentmen account.  Three days later, there were numerous fraudulent charges made to that credit card in Miami, FL.  Apparently my card was used to pay for a Carnival cruise, shore excursions, items in the carnival gift shop.  I contacted my CC company and disputed the charges and they are reviewing.  They specifically asked me if the "RM Media" charge was mine and I said it was - the representative said that it is possible that is where my card was breached since it was an international company.  I know in this day and age there is no way to know where the card was compromised, but it seemed like an odd coincidence.  Just wondering if anyone else had any experiences with the card being compromised after paying the RM subscription.  Thanks!

I haven't had any negative experience with RM.  Personally, I'd be more suspicious of any restaurants you might have been to recently where they take your card from the table, since they have the opportunity to skimthe magstrip and CCV, and the data is sold to criminal rings that distribute the lists.  I wish the practice of bringing the CC payment terminals to the table would catch on in the US.
Also card skimmers on gas pumps, ATMs, and other automated devices have been found, sometimes with cameras to capture the PIN numbers as well.

I don't think RM is the problem. Like others they use my CC for payments (in my case monthly) Being doing so for years.
My card has a chip. It offers greater security than the old type magnetic strips. Also here in Canada they always bring the terminal to the table so you never give up control of your card.
I was amazed the last time I ate at a restaurant in NYC they wanted to take my card to the bar. I refused and paid cash instead.

It is just very hard to pinpoint where the security breach may happen. I have not used my debit card for more than 18 months and somehow it was breached. A string of small charges occurred at Microsoft store around 3 am, and triggered the alert system at my bank. It is still the greatest mystery since I only use the debit card to withdraw cash from the bank-owned ATM.

The satisfaction of giving somebody else pleasure, and seeing their face (and hearing their sounds) knowing you're the one causing it?
Or the competitive fire you feel being the biggest slut at the glory hole that night, losing count of the amount you have serviced?
Or feeding your fantasy of being known as the male Linda Lovelace?
    Or all of the above?

I had a similar situation a few years ago.  I had hooked up with this guy at one of the bookstores near my home.  A few weeks later came across the ad on MF and hired.  I had not mentioned we had hooked up when I booked the appointment and when we met, he remembered me and admitted that he felt it was a bit "stalkerish."  We ended up having an ok time, but it was definitely awkward.  Maybe be upfront about your previous hook-up and say that you would like to now hire.  Good luck!

I'm a sucker for a great smelling man - not so much strong cologne but when it is just a brief scent.  Recently while traveling on a flight, a well dressed gentleman sat beside me.  I didn't think much of his looks, but then I got a whiff of his scent.  I found it to be very sexy and then noticed his looks more.  I finally said to him, "you smell great, what are you wearing?"  He smiled and told me the name of the cologne and then proceeded to tell me how "his wife bought it....his wife loves it...his wife picks out his clothes."  I found it funny because I think he felt odd having another man asking him about his scent, so he needed to make sure he mentioned a wife numerous times.  Maybe I was drooling, who knows!?
