  1. Packing your own personal pup tent to use indoors might go some distance to assuage such concerns. Or create a little fort using extra sheets. On a serious note I don’t think that checking off any component of an extensive list of factors related to privacy and security reflects paranoia. This brings to mind the adage “just because you are genuinely paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you”. I am reminded of the time I took a well known Brazilian gogo to a brothel-adjacent optionally short-let hotel. The lighting is not great and one might randomly get a room with garish green rather than more flattering red bulbs. I carry a small LED with a hook that can hang on the wall, as a solution to the problems of having all or nothing visibility and the risk of depleting smartphone power if its flashlight deployed for same. He checked it out as was appropriate.
  2. I have a few favourite self-cater lodgings that I would not want to compromise. In fact, I don’t ever travel without booking on Airbnb or equivalent platforms. Therefore, the added expense of secondary hotel/motel accommodations exclusively for play dates is worth it in the interests of a version of the golden rule ‘don’t shit where you eat’. There are other advantages in terms of securing valuables, most of which stay in the rented home, what might be going on while using the bathroom, etc. Hotels don’t post reviews visible to prospective hosts or affect your guest rating.
  3. The Montreal dancers have been consistently freelance during the 3 decades I have attended.
  4. This seems to be a sizeable eligible deduction. Inflation everywhere, right?
  5. This is a precipitous mash up of Canadian NACI guidance suggesting that >3 and <6 months does no apparent harm but that immune response may be better if the delay is closer to 6 months, yet the unknown of whether that point holds for the current strain; the possibility that shorter duration uptake may offset community incidence in that some infections may be avoided if vaccination taken earlier and in light of holiday seasonality as you mentioned; and the reality that supply is underused and may as well be given earlier to interested candidates if truly intended eligibles are not stepping up. That this may be Ontarian specifically just suggests lack of uniformity nationally. Only folks like you that follow and can grasp the related media news will be more likely to follow through. I’m abroad and hope that my SARS-CoV infection and recovery of a few months ago will be protective.
  6. She was certainly very good. I wasn’t aware of the French judicial system trial structure, seemingly a free-for-all level of arguing back and forth relatively speaking, with a mix of official judges and layperson jurors, unweighted. Two-thirds majority required for conviction and the layperson component, for example, could technically trump the judges’ unanimous votes on conviction vs acquittal if such was the pattern. I assume this consistently avoids a hung jury sitch. I am not aware if each juror’s vote is public record.
  7. To which Oates responded instantly, “Eat me.” Where money is involved it’s rarely gluten free.
  8. If a genuine fugue state, I doubt the presentation of cold hard cash would snap someone out of it and they immediately hightail it out the door. It seems volitional. It appears you did not pay up front but at the 15-minute mark. As he mentioned Thanksgiving plans you will eventually see if the ad is temporarily disabled for that reason.
  9. Sadly, for that Mpox eruption look.
  10. Could be Gretel’s.
  11. If the primary basis of questioning by border services is facial recognition, given that some ads contain misappropriated photos of persons never associated with sex work, wouldn’t there be reports of such persons, generally young and good-looking, running into problems? It seems to me that somehow the trigger for border patrol surveillance includes identifying information and not simply facial images.
  12. Another extensive article on the topic. Detention/questioning/refusal could be rare but the rule of thumb entering USA from Canada is that doing so at airport border services avoids being stranded at some remote outpost if travelling by bus or train. 13. I would crunch these data differently. Fully vaccinated were twice as likely to acquire infection than partially vaccinated because, well, math. If equal case rates, the ratio of fully:partially would be 1.5:1 but 3.3:1 is what it comes out to when stratifying the 44 cases. But these are very small case numbers and this is not to say that a 2nd MVA-BN dose is not warranted.
  14. Effectiveness isn’t necessarily related to STI history outside of possible antimicrobial resistance factors. That aspect is simply imported into the recommendations because recent STI history predicts subsequent STI incidence and research subjects exclusively with recent STI history were recruited so that enough infections would occur quickly enough for statistical analysis. The specifics of the study population later govern the medication guidance. As you can see from the article, the off of off-label can be further.
  15. The most noticeable MPOX incidence increase is Portugal, driving up the smaller overall Europe increase. One graph (1st below) depicts selected areas over the past 3 months, another graph (3rd below) depicts selected areas over 6 months including Portugal dwarfing incidence elsewhere, and the 2nd graph below depicts Portugal’s incidence trending at half last summer’s peak. Being a smaller nation, could be an artefact of a tighter-knit group of at-risk individuals enhancing transmission within a few GBMSM enclaves.
  16. Seeing as his ad indicates English and Russian language.
  17. Right, the mid20teens Phase 2 study results provide clues to the Phase 3 results media release emphasis on zoliflodacin’s noninferior urogenital infection cure rate. All subjects had urogenital infection as it was the inclusion criterion. As in Phase 2, the recent trial cure rates for simultaneous pharyngeal or rectal infection were evaluated and compared to standard treatment. If noninferiority criteria had been met for either of those secondary outcome infection sites, albeit sufficiently statistically powered (unlike Phase 2), I assume it would have been enthusiastically mentioned. On top of that, there is the high cure rate requirement gold standard of 95% which was probably not satisfied for pharyngeal infection treatment with zoliflodacin if consistent with Phase 2 trends, even though Phase 3 dosing was the more effective higher dose of Phase 2 dose escalation. We will have to wait for the data to be peer reviewed but it appears to be more promising for Adam & Eve than for Adam & Yves. The former also benefit from the more overt symptom presentation of urethral and cervical gonorrhea whereas pharyngeal and rectal infection is usually detected, latently if at all, via routine screening.
  18. You’ll be hearing from the Nomination Committee.
  19. I would only need him to understand ‘ixnay hombre’.
  20. Good standing up as best as you could under the circumstances. Glad you’re not the next season.

  22. First time? Can relate. Fist time? Cannot.
  23. I thought it was powerful and moving. Second time hearing DiDonato, previous time was her Virginia Wolff role. I love her voice, so awesome particularly given her diminutive size. The theatre experience bringing in close-ups (not the staged filming) zoomed in visually a lot of the acting right down to perspiration and tears. The chemistry between Sister Helen and Joe, and with Sister Rose, spot on. The mother sang the original Helen role decades ago. The ritual of the alcohol swab alone, medically superfluous, so chilling.
