Actually, I was going to say that the restaurant analogy does not make sense for this reason:  At the fancy restaurant, any excess revenue goes to the business owner.  Unless that owner is generous with his staff, the employees might not be getting paid that well when tips are omitted, so getting those tips is a significant part of the waiter's salary.
A masseur sets his own prices (unless he's an employee at a salon).  If he has already set a top-of-the-market rate for himself, he's the one benefiting financially from that.  If you don't tip him, he's still getting paid well.
I'm not posting this to argue that clients shouldn't tip masseurs or escorts, and I generally do myself unless I end up feeling disappointed with the service, but if you cannot afford to pay more than this masseur's already high rate I wouldn't sweat it.  If he's become so popular that he no longer needs your business because you don't tip him, you can either chose to start paying him more if you like him that much or look for someone else within your price range.

There's no hard and fast rule when it comes to texting. I've had guys who respond within 10-15 minutes and guys who take over a day to respond, and some who just don't respond at all. Of course we all prefer someone who gets back to us ASAP but I don't hold it against someone that takes a day. Sometimes they're busy. Some providers have full time jobs or are busy with other clients.
