Essential... always double check that you’re ringing the right apartment!!!

Between masseurs arriving late or not showing up at late, the final straw that broke me from having massages at my place was when one masseur rang the wrong apartment, was unfortunately let in and preceded to get into a horrible shouting match with my neighbor for “backing out of a massage session.”

He wasn’t the first masseur to ring the wrong apartment. Massage horror story thread, anyone?

This thread, indeed, has some fantastic tips.

    For right now, I’ll add:

Have realistic expectations of your client’s appearance. While you may get lucky and get an appt. with a hot gym body, most of the time, that’s not going to happen. Be prepared to deal with heavy, older, partially physically disabled men, etc. and treat them all equally, even if you’re faking it. As long as you’re good at doing that, you'll get repeats. And if you decide HE is appropriate, at least pretend to be into it. I hate when you look up and the masseur is looking away and/or looking bored.

Get a portable table. Personally, I will not hire a masseur who doesn’t have one. Whether it’s true or not, I always think to myself if he were legit, he’d have a table. Plus, I’ve had several on beds and despise it. I can’t get comfortable, and I can’t see how the masseur can be comfortable. Plus it takes away one of the thrills of a massage for me, which is when they get close to my hand (if you know what I mean). Beds are awkward for that.

Agree with all that. Except the Rodeway Inn Last time I stayed at one it was super Scary! A client paid for the room for me after our session. Was soooo Loud! Cars coming and going in the parking lot. I decided not to book any other clients and just locked the doors...and went to sleep. If u stay at a motel like this choose a room on the inside of the courtyard as on the outside it is too damn LOUD!

When the Craigslist thing first happened I ended up just taking a month off cause I could not take it anymore. Within one sentence I could tell they were former Craigslist clients. It seems like maybe it's getting better....like the former Craigslist people are learning certain sites like Rentmen...we don't play those shady games!!

I never ask for an uber. But I have had a couple of times where a client asked for me...I arrive and get Ghosted! And I started noticing a location pattern- LAX hotels. It was their intention from the start. Some just like to play games with us I guess. I'm sure they had a good giggle out of it. I think the point of them asking for an Uber though is to screen out those kind of people and not cause they can't afford the commute. I don't ask for an Uber cause I prefer to drive in my own car. However....I won't usually meet a client that says they are staying at a hotel by LAX cause of my experience. That's my screening process. If I notice a pattern in a certain area I just nix it out of places I will accept bookings. Probably not fair, but my little car can only accept so many wasted miles before it is like...SNAP out of it!!! lol One client responded to my telling him I had banned the LAX area from my client list by offering to get a hotel in Burbank instead of by LAX to show he was not a LAX flake. Even though he flew into LAX. Met up with him in Burbank and had a great time! My point is we all have ways of screening. Mine is probably dumb. But the other guy is using Uber as his way to weed out flakes. I would not take personally. Just realize he has probably had a few too many flakes and needs some way to keep himself from going nuts over it. He chooses Uber. I just flat out Ban LAX area. I kinda think the Uber idea is probably more rationale than mine!? lol

I've never had luck with people that call me. If someone dials my number instead of texting me 90 % of the time they are just talkers wanting to waste my time. So it's got to point I will only try to book clients that text me first. If they want to talk on the phone first it's fine. But text me first. If they just call out of the blue I'm already knowing they just want free phone sex when I answer the phone. Also what helps me get thru all the missed appts by people that wait last minute is I just tell myself it's their loss for bad planning. I've had people that see my travel location as 100 miles away from me and ask me to be there in 30 minutes!! I'm like are u gonna send a helicopter to pick me up!? I try to have a good sense of humour about it. But I get your frustration. Some people treat these ads like it's Grindr...which it is NOT! LOL

    I agree with azdr0710"Old Timer"
If you flat out ask me if I'm gonna cum I am gonna feel uncomfortable and feel like you are part of some sting operation. I would probably just turn down your booking to avoid the risk. A better way to do this...like others have suggested...is to tell the provider what you hope will happen. Don't flat out ask for an answer. Just share that you think it would be Hot if your provider was able to cum during your session. Then it leaves it open for the provider to respond..."yeah that would be fucking Hot!" So you get your answer without asking for it...and without making the provider nervous or uncomfortable.

Asking people to read our ad!!!!? Not just look at our pictures.... Oh that's alot to ask! LOL jk Seriously though I agree! Being honest would make a client's job life alot easier and make our jobs as Escorts soooo much easier. Constantly having to deal with people that don't believe our ads cause of another escort that lied...it gets exhausticating sometimes. lol

I was more getting st the doors to the rooms at the hotel. As in don’t stay in a motel in most cases; stay in actual hotels.

Like @MichBoyBlake said, it provides some buffer. Not only that but it gives off the impression of being a little classier. Even clients have said “don’t stay in a hotel where the doors are outside” so they may look for it too.

Traveling can be a headache, but I find it ultimately rewarding.

If you can figure out how to navigate it and stay sane the perks will outweigh the benefits.

I will say, though, that there are a few counterintuitive things that come with traveling. First off: summer isn’t the best time. Clients are usually traveling themselves, and there are lots of events and pride festivals happening. August is basically a wash. You can make summer work, but make damn sure there’s not any event happening where you plan to travel.

You don’t always need the best most expensive hotel. The doors need to be on the inside, but besides that, location within the city matters much more (and i kill myself over this more than anything).

Time of week matters a lot too. Another counterintuitive thing: weekends can work, and if they’re the only time you can travel (like in my case) you can make it work. But in many instances some combo of weekday and weekends work best for travel spans.

Also, drum up interest before hand. It can be a pain, but pick your travel cities and advertise them in advance, put them in your headline and your body text, and put them here. Having advanced appointments will save you some headache and give peace of mind that the trip is worth it. In many instances, traveling to a city more than once is better as people know you’ll get there fairly regularly.

And if you end up canceling the trip, you won’t be out much, or you can keep the trip and end up seeing something new (OR SLEEPING).

To clarify, by "a good excuse to travel" I more or less mean that like, if I ended up getting enough bookings to break even or make a tiny profit after considering general travel expenses, e.g. flights, hotels, rental cars, food, etc... then that would give me a good enough excuse to go visit pretty much anywhere. I really enjoy exploring new places and like, if left to my own devices any travel plans I make would probably end up being relatively predictable in terms of like location/city.. but I do definitely love the idea of just visiting random places that I normally wouldn't really have a reason to visit, and spending a few days or a week there exploring. It's just hard to justify going out and doing that by myself without like some sort of reason to be there.

Welcome to the club. Sometimes business getting drummed up in another city doesn’t always promise the desired outcome.

However, I’m confused as to what you mean by find a good excuse to travel? Personally, I would make it very clear that the trip is specifically to see clients, even if it's not specifically him. But even if it is. That way a deposit can be made. I wouldn't make excuses like you're traveling to do other things, otherwise it's going to give the flakes less accountability.

I have mixed feelings re: The cancelling travel dates when not enough business is expected. A good client may get really pissed off about that, others can be more understanding. Regardless, some of those may or may not reschedule. But when push comes to shove, it's going to be the escort who's stranded miles from home if shit doesn't go accordingly. So, if you think you can break even and have the money to atleast go and come back, by all means go. Sometimes, you may not get the responses you want until you actually get there.

Even on this roller coaster Washington D.C. Trip...I came with only 1 advanced appointment from a regular, and just been riding the waves with spur of the moment sessions. I like to let people know that wherever I'm going, is usually strictly for expected client visits. Even getting a hotel is for clients only. That way, they understand I'm not just on vacation having fun. If they think that, they'll cancel and change plans whenever they feel like it.

Who cares if it makes you look needy or aggressive. After paying $3 a gallon and more for gas, and $100 a night for hotels to get somewhere, I'm obligated to feel a bit needy and aggressive. Traveling is not a joke. Gas is too high, hotels too expensive. When I hear about these guys getting all expenses paid trips to stay at 4 star hotels by THEIR job, I would feel like a goddamn clown to be traveling around like a chicken with no head...paying for my own hotels and expenses, while people flake and play games. Oh HELL no. I have 0 tolerance.

Now, if Rentmen was paying for all my travel, hotels, and lunches and dinners...AND paying me a $100,000 salary a year like these corporate dudes are getting, I wouldn't complain as much. But that's all fantasy.

Although this is about traveling in general, I promise it's actually a question for other escorts and not just me talking about travel plans, so I do feel that it fits here best. I'm sorry if it doesn't, and if asked by a mod I have no problem moving it to the travel section.

Anyways, it's finally getting nice out, summer is starting strong, and although I love traveling and exploring new places, I haven't really had much of an excuse to make very many trips for a little while now. I'm really starting to get the itch, haha.

I'm curious about any insights other escorts might have on how to use being a provider as a way to create an excuse to go on some trips. I've heard providers will do a thing sometimes where they list travel dates, and then cancel them if they don't drum up enough interest. I might try that a bit as a way to help, but I really don't want that to be my only tactic. For all I know it has a lot to do with my area, but I'm so used to flaky clients at this point, that I would hate to feel like I've drummed up enough interest, make the plans, go on the trip, and then end up having not enough clients follow through to justify the trip in the first place.

Also, is there a good way to try and put out some message to potential clients along the lines of... "I really enjoy traveling and even if you're far away still contact me if you're interested because knowing enough people in your area are interested can give me enough of an excuse to make a trip to your area" ?
I'm not so much looking for how to word that necessarily, but just a way to put out that message without making it seem like needy or aggressive or something.

Recently an escort I haven't met before asked me to send two photos and my "full name", so he could verify my identity before he would agree to meet. I said no and explained it was for privacy reasons. He replied he wanted to know for security reasons. He is apparently new to escorting, but I wondered if there could be some entrapment attempt involved.

For whatever reason, have any of the providers here asked for a client's full name? I wanted to make sure I haven't slipped into a parallel universe where this is standard practice.

An escort I want to meet with is traveling to my city soon. I have contacted him to set something up and he only had one spot available which is 10:00pm on his last day in the city...mentioning he was already booked the day of. Since he told me that he is meeting clients before me that day is it inappropriate to ask him if he still will be able to cum and orgasm by the time he gets to me?

I feel weird bringing this to the forums but here is where I’m coming from:

    1. I prefer an escort to cum when in a session with me. If an escort said he won’t or couldn’t come that is a dealbreaker for me.

    2. I actually have had some (not all) traveling escorts tell me in the past that if I book them later in the evening there is a possibility they “won’t cum” because they have seen several guys before me.

    Any advice is appreciated.

the only thing about all this that might concern me is that the provider...might....balk at a specific question like, "will you cum?".....inexperienced (or even some experienced) providers might suspect a sting and hesitate to answer at all.......

Keith's suggestion (post #2) is so utterly professional (and nearly non-sexual!) that I'd certainly use that style.......you do need to know what the provider can offer
