How long do you wait for a provider to respond?
+ nycman replied to Your Man in Arlington's topic in Questions About Hiring
I think you may have taken what I said the wrong way, maybe not. You’ve attached causation where I merely noted an association. He’s not "more worth it" because he responded promptly. Nonetheless I my experience, men who take their business seriously tend to respond promptly and that professionalism often carries over into an amazing performance when we’re together. Does that make sense? Obviously they’re not 100% tied together, but in over 20 years of hiring I have noticed an association. If I have to chase anyone down to commit to a time and place, I usually regret it in the end. I’m a straight forward man who respects other people’s time/energy/money, and I expect the same in return. It’s the same with boyfriends, friends, co-workers, escorts, employees and bosses. If I’m the one doing all the heavy lifting, I better off with someone else. Yes, flakes occasionally respond promptly and sometimes the man of my dreams takes a little while to respond. You know, "box of chocolates" and all that crap. I mean Hell, I’ve been trying to get you to commit to dinner at Le Bernardin for decades, but hope springs eternal…….grin -
Ahhh….. Lenin’s tomb is one of my favorite structures in the world. I’m so thankful that post Soviet Russia didn’t tear it down. In fact, the Kremlin and all of Red Square, is all pretty incredible. But Saint Basil’s Cathedral is just….odd I also love the Stalin buildings. And the Bolshoi is magical. Hope that’s enough to get you started. Moscow is incredible.

Most Annoying Masseur Behavior You've Experienced
+ nycman replied to + Just Chuck's topic in Questions About Hiring
So true. Many guys (even good ones) dropped the ball on the "aftercare". -
But is he really cute? Have you met him? Is he probably the sexiest guy you’ve met? I’m lost.

In general, I don’t answer anyone with under 100 posts. I feel kind of asinine about it, but it really isn’t worth the effort. Like @azdr0710, if I know you… the sky is a limit.

The Neil Diamond Musical: “A Beautiful Noise”
+ nycman replied to Cooper's topic in Live Theater & Broadway
You guys do know there’s New York theater beyond Broadway, right? -
The Moscow subway is indeed stunning, but I’m not so sure it’s "underrated". It’s pretty world renowned and in general rated very highly on "must see" lists. Unfortunately, I doubt most of us will get to see it again in our lifetime. Sic transit gloria mundi

There only seems to be one "boys"….I’m confused.

LMAO. Somebody doesn’t like beaches….incredible beaches…..grin Opus 40?…that place where all the Hippies have their "Druid weddings" while simultaneously wringing their hands and bemoaning the fact that their nuptials are taking place on property that was "stolen" from the indigenous peoples. The mental contortions required to pull off such ceremonies with a straight face makes the mind reel. I’d rather hang out in the Hamptons…or even Fire Island for that matter.

And there in lies the rub. They’ve made the property more of a liability than it’s worth. It’s a shame. It’s a beautiful building, but letting it rot is now the only "viable" solution.

Thank you for the lecture….I was waiting for this. But if you re-read what I wrote, you’ll see than I never stated Gurreleider was atonal. It clearly is not. What I said I said was, "I’d rather listen to screeching mating cats than have to sit through Schoenberg‘s atonal crap." I can see the misunderstanding though and I apologize for not making my transitions more clear. My understanding is that Schoenberg completed Gurreleider later, around 1911 when was he was well on his way to his atonal monotony, which does make Gurreleider’s preserved tonality interesting. If I were trying to disparage Gurreleider, I would have called it a Wagner/Mahler ripoff, which is what is sounds like to me. I look forward to your 5 page rebuttal showing how Gurreleider is NOT Wagnerian regurgitation, but a unique masterpiece. grin PS I still hate Schoenberg’s atonal crap and am obviously in way over my head. I’ll show myself out. PPS Why do I visit the Opera forum?….I’ll never learn
