  1. I went to LeBoy twice during my January visit. I'm much more into the jock body type, rather than twink, so LeBoy is usually last on my list. But I went back because the drinks were a great deal and the dancers kept dancing. The fees for private rooms was low. The place was packed, especially the outside patio. Overall, it was still better than BW, despite BW men being more my type

  2. Boardwalk Ft. Lauderdale? Anyone been lately?

I was at BW in January. Compared to visits in previous years, it appears they have updated the interiors to give a more posh feel. However, the dancers were even less interactive, the bar prices even more expensive, and the outrageous cut the house demanded AFTER I left the private booths was so off putting. I was in Florida for two weeks. I went to BW once. Spent all the other nights at Johnson's or LeBoy.

  3. I'm going to PV again in late April as well.

When I was in PV in February, every establishment had pads to clean your shoes before entering, and almost everyone had a mask around their chin. I saw some cabaret shows which were moved outdoors and/or had reduced capacity. The strip clubs and gay bars were a little less crowded, but no masks. My theory is consuming alcohol must kill the germs.

  4. Are the VIP rooms here worth it. Just wondering if one can have a great experience back there or if it best to just stick with the lap dances.

I found the VIP area to be worth the $20 charge for all night in-out access. It's just another smaller area of the bar with open couches and access to the bar. Otherwise, lap dances are performed out in the open area at your table by the main stage.

In the VIP area, there are booths which cost yet another upgrade. I haven't tried one of those yet so I can't offer any advice.

  5. Actually, it's not. There's no colon in the logo. (The "the musical" is in smaller print underneath "Urinetown," but there's no ":")

Outside of the logo itself, Music Theatre International (which holds the rights to the show) simply refers to it as Urinetown. The published script also generally refers to it by Urinetown alone. Looking at the posters from the two productions of the show I've done, one included "the musical" and one didn't. The logo for the London production did include "the musical" but again, with no colon.

(Update - I just noticed that the spine of the published script does indeed include the colon in the title. But that's the only time I've ever seen it used.)

    ?

I was referring to the dialogue in the play, where the Narrator/Cop corrects Little Sally and directs her to call it "Urinetown: The Musical" and not just "Urinetown". He goes on to tell her that simply "Urinetown" refers to the place people are sent when they can't afford to pay to pee, and is not the same as "Urinetown: The Musical".

  6. The most over-rated tourist attraction in my state is the Circus Circus Adventuredome, while the most underrated is Spring Valley State Park.

It should be noted that the beauty of underrated places is they often times are tranquil with minimal visitors. Highlighting them might not be the best idea!

I've never even heard of Spring Valley State Park. I thought Spring Valley was an unincorporated township in Clark County.

  7. Gender neutral restrooms are the way to go.

RSVP had gender neutral public restrooms in 2015. Then in 2016, the gender neutral signs were up for only a day before being taken down, and there were repeated announcements for men not to use the ladies room. It was still that way in 2019. So, some high profile female raised a fuss about having to share a gender neutral space, and RSVP caved.

  8. I've been on 3 RSVP cruises. They were great. I would pick an all-gay cruise over an integrated cruise any day. I don't mind paying the higher prices, because the entertainment and guys on board are worth it! The only reason I don't do more gay cruises is the time of year or ports of call aren't to my liking on some of the itineraries.

I truly wish there was an all men, Gay cruise. The extra effort to include the ladies really hampers the logistics. Half of the public toilets are reserved for about two dozen guests, while thousands of men wait to share the other half. Hundreds of men want to be naked in the spa, sauna, or steam room, but one lady objects so we got to keep it covered. Haven't been on Vacaya, but the ads look to promote a lot more female travels. For that reason alone, I will stick with RSVP or Atlantis. But please, someone let us know if I'm mistaken about Vacaya.

  9. I still ask for the $1 coin at the teller window. Because I am a smart ass! ?

Do you mostly get the President $1 coins, or Sacagawea coins? Congress tried to replace the $1 bill with the $1 coin to save money in the long run. The public loved the Presidential coins. However, the law states that the mint cannot produce more Presidential $1 coins until all of the Sacagawea $1 coins are distributed, and no one wants the millions of Sacagawea coins in storage.

I read that they've minted new $1 coins in the last few years with various themes such as space exploration, WWI and WWII, and Early Americans. I'm wandering if you've seen those, or if they're mostly Sacagawea.

  10. for some reason I don’t like atm‘s that dispense 50’s. I like to only have 20’s and 100’s and 50’s seem awkward for me ?‍♂️

Many - most - all Bank of America ATM’s give 100’s and you can choose the mix of 20’s and 100’s. Like @MikeBiDude, I’m 99% cc for daily life and close to 100% cash for hiring. I have used cash app a few times for SA guys (they seem to think it’s less transactional). ?

When I go to the bank teller, I get all my cash in $2s and $50s

  11. I've only been on one gay cruise and that was an Alaska cruise. It was a lot of fun but I noticed for Alaska cruises I think mostly bear-type gays and their admirers go. I'd say in the cruise I went to it was at least 60% bears.

Back 13-14 years ago I remember RSVP chartered the Queen Mary transatlantic crossing and I wish I had gone on it. I recall there were some pretty good last-minute sales.

Supposedly that RSVP Queen Mary voyage almost bankrupted the company, because they couldn't fill the whole ship. So, Atlantis bought out RSVP. While Atlantis and RSVP have maintained different brands, they are the same company.

  12. I get the local newspapers (Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Sun), USA Today, and Wall Street Journal delivered daily.

I started reading newspapers in my early 30s when my supervisor began bringing his newspaper from home and letting me read it during my lunch break.

I look forward to reading the daily newspapers, but only while I'm out eating in restaurant by myself. On days I don't leave the house, I don't read the paper.

  13. Which massage parlors? I've never had any luck in PV.

I also heard they expect another shut down soon for about 2 weeks. Was planning to go last week of March.

I enjoyed Coral Spa near Playa Los Muertos and Hamam Turkish Bath below Spartacus Bathhouse, although had to have reservations days in advance for Hamam Turkish Bath.

  14. @Vegas_nw1982 Did you hire? Care to share for us homebound horny men?

I did hire two "regulars" that I've hired before. One through Rentmen, one through Grindr. I also found more guys on Grindr, but I didn't follow through. A week simply was not enough time for me.

Also had fun at two new (to me) massage parlors I hadn't tried before.

I enjoyed the three strip clubs that were open. There were very few patrons in each establishment. Multiple times I had three or more dancers competing for my attention and taking care of me in the public areas of the strip clubs. It helps that tipping them each $500 pesos (only $25 US) kept them happy for multiple songs.

The real highlight of my trip was the great drag queens Miss Conception, Sutton Lee Seymour, and Hedda Lettuce. Check them out if you go soon, before they close again!

  15. I was in PV last week.

    It was very enjoyable.

    Crowds are noticeably lower.

All bars, strip clubs, and cabarets are open... For now. Local business owners tell me they except another month of closures beginning at the end of March, so hurry while it lasts.
