I get that - but it's time to learn from the past!

If I can be honest, I am having a hard time understanding why folks are wasting their time on this particular companion. Everything I have heard indicates that he is a flake, unreliable, hard to communicate with and generally a disappointment. The next member that complaints about him here will get a big: "You Shoulda Known Better" from me. Move on fellas and let this thread go to that wonderful place where redundant threads go to die. How about we move on and spend our time and attention on somebody who is more worthy! ? ?

May I assume that you change your headline and description after 30 minutes, before you log off? I mean, if you log off it is still visible to others, right, so you could still get banned if it is reported. ?

I have both devices. An android phone for work and an apple iphone for personal use. I can use both fairly easily and don't consider myself a "power" user - I have a few apps and use both devices for Zoom calls, but by no means do I use them to their full capacity. I got both phones during the same month and so they are about equal in age. I would call myself a moderately sophisticated user. What annoys me about the iphone is how frequent the apps and operating system requires updating. I swear I have had to update my iphone operating system 3 times already this year. And it takes so long - at least 45 minutes - to download, extract, install, restart using my wifi at home which is FAST. I don't know long it will take to do an update using cellular service. At the time of updating the software, my phone is "down" and cannot be used. Once it is up and running, it is fine. I do like the ability to backup my device using itunes on my PC so if something happens I can just restore. It also makes upgrading to a new iphone rather easy. They certainly are expensive. As for the android - battery life on my android is much better. I like the camera better too - better quality photos. It works better on Zoom and its speakerphone is better than the iphone in my experience. The only practical advice I would offer is that once you are onboard the Apple train (use the apple infrastructure), it is fine - easy to integrate different devices on the same platform so if you have an iphone, ipad and apple tv, they play well together. But getting off the Apple train once you are on it, seems like a daunting task to me. I hope this helps! KiR

Yes, we were at the Renaissance hotel in midtown Manhattan. The service level was not back to normal. Gym was open with reduced capacity - you had to pre-register at the front desk. Bar and restaurant were closed - also no in room dining. That was a bit of a bummer.

Had to drag myself out of bed with an effort. I was feeling it! Laundry was definitely on the to-do list today; we had made quite a mess! Who knew large towels would be so bloody useful! Get vaccinated boys - it is worth the wait!

Getting a US visa is not easy! I had a friend go through the long and expensive process. Took him 4 months just to get a time slot for the interview. It is expensive in both time and money. I wouldn't recommend or encourage anybody to overstay their visa - but I can see how it might make sense for some. ?‍♂️
