I gave him the benefit of the doubt after reading comments here. Decided to meet up while we were both traveling and in the same city. Talked the day before meeting to make sure we could line things up since we were both traveling. Came across as a nice guy and all was set. Confirmed the meeting details the day of. A few hours before the meet he came back to renegotiate the rate; which I found a little strange since I had agreed to what I would consider a "New York City" rate since that is where he is based now. Against my better judgment I agreed. And he flaked on me. Went radio silent and never heard back from him. Which is a shame since we are both going to be in the same city for a while and if things worked out I would have been up for spoiling him a bit. 🤷‍♂️
