Question: Do public holidays impact your hours
FTM Zachary Prince replied to + FrankR's topic in Questions About Hiring
In my experience holidays, including summer and weekends, are more hit or miss compared to weekdays. When I do get work during these times, it often tends to be longer/higher-paying sessions tho. Many guys have plans with friends or family and are unavailable. But the ones who do not have plans, are often free for much longer sessions than they ordinarily would be. I get more dinner dates, lunch dates, 8 hours bookings & overnights during weekends, holidays, and summers. But my overall booking volume will be much lower. I tend to avoid touring during holidays for this reason. Holidays are good times to work your base location, in my opinion/experience. -
DC is hit or miss for me, and ALWAYS expensive to stay in. My clients seem to want me in Dupont Circle, and I almost always end up spending $500 a night for a hotel. I could get something for $350-400 probably, but the downgrade in quality just never seems worth it. If I have to spend a TON of money on a hotel, at least it better be a good one where I can feel I enjoyed myself... I always feel like such an idiot if I pay $350 for a dump. So generally it’s like $500 a night for me to host in DC. Combine that with the hit or miss nature of the town, and I typically just skip it nowadays. Hardly worth the hassle. Or I visit my friends who live in town, eat amazing Ethiopian food, and don’t even advertise the trip to clients. I’m very fond of BWI, though, which is very nearby to DC. I get a much more consistent response there, and hotels are damn cheap! Nothing interesting to do there except fuck, but hey... that’s ideally what I’m there for! Yes, everyone who tours regularly has cities that just don’t work for them. I used to have a big fan base in Atlanta that almost never translated into bookings (max 1 per visit, compared to dozens of guys contacting me throughout the year to ask me to visit). San Francisco has also oddly never been that great for me, maybe just too flooded with other options? Maybe I’m nothing special to SF guys? Strange... because I do well in other competitive/expensive markets such as Chicago, NYC, and LA. But SF is always like... meh, here’s one booking for you during your entire 5 day stay in town. I’m about to spend an entire month there tho, which I’ve never done before, so I’m curious to see if that changes anything for me. I personally lost more than half of my advertising venues when SESTA got passed, so who knows if my comments are even relevant anymore. The whole game is changing now... For me, any client can be an anchor client. I have a 2-3hr minimum and that’s enough to cover all my expenses and then some. My business model is intentionally designed that way, tho, since I primarily tour whenever I’m working and my offering is quite niche. Plus I really can’t teach a newbie with a fantasy for bottoming who is too tight in the ass to even let my tongue in there to relax enough to take a dick or have a prostate orgasm in any less than 2-3 hours. Just not enough time. Mostly not enough time for him to get comfortable enough to relax properly. It’s a win-win where I get my anchor client every time, plus I get enough time to actually work my magic, which means the client ultimately gets what he wants too. Maybe I would feel differently if I were cis or my offering wasn’t so incredibly niche, but I don’t think I can ever go back to touring around the country offering one hour sessions and counting on last minute bookings to turn a profit. When I was in my early 20’s, that was def an exciting hustle, but Grandpa is almost 29 and needs more security nowadays... :p:p or maybe I just lost my patience for it.

Advertising Rates Going Up On Rentmen FOR ALL
FTM Zachary Prince replied to + Lance_Navarro's topic in Questions About Hiring
CIS men who top are allowed to show your hard-ons, but trans men who top aren’t allowed to show identical type of photos since they consider our dicks to be “sex toys”. Allowing cis men to show hard-ons is legally risky for RentMen since it implies sexuality, and sex + money = no no. However, allowing potential clients to see cis guys’ dicks is high priority for RM, so they have chosen to remove rates from the site rather than removing the photos of hard-ons. Allowing trans men to show what we’re able to offer when we top is apparently NOT a priority for RM, so they have banned it for no particular reason. There’s no additional legal risk for them involved in allowing us to show them... it’s exactly the same legal implication as showing a hard cock. It could arguably be suggesting sex for money, but it could arguably be simply “modeling” in the same way that a guy with a hard-on could be modeling or could arguably be suggesting sex for money. Basically, I’ve tried to post photos in identical types of poses based on how cis male tops on RM advertise themselves, but mine are denied because apparently my dick isn’t real enough for RM. I thought the denials would be limited to penetration, another person, or sexuality too. For example, I do have photos where I’m teasing the tip of a dildo with my tongue, and I EXPECT those to be restricted against being used in public since they are depicting a sexual act. That’s not what I have an issue with, just to be clear. But if every cis guy who tops can show his hard-on that he’s offering to fuck people with, and I’m restricted against showing what I top people with, it makes the ad totally useless for me. If I can’t show visually what I’m offering then all people can imagine when they see my ad is that my pussy is on the table. And frankly, it IS on the table, but it’s definitely not the prime attraction, how I end up with regular clients, or what I’m paying for advertising to promote. I’m 90% TOP and my regular clients all come to me / stay with me for my topping skills primarily. All the websites that achieve successful conversions for me allow me to show what I top with. So for RM to deny me that when every cis guy is allowed to show what he tops with renders it useless in addition to being generally shitty and discriminatory. As a specific example, a cis guy is allowed to stand naked with his hands folded behind his head, his hard on dangling between his legs. Or maybe even one hand holding the base of his dick. If I try to post an identical pose wearing my strap on, in either case my photos are considered pornographic and denied. -
Advertising Rates Going Up On Rentmen FOR ALL
FTM Zachary Prince replied to + Lance_Navarro's topic in Questions About Hiring
I already declined to renew my ad on there since they won’t allow me to show my dick Ad is worthless to me as a top if I can’t show what I’m planning to fuck people with... the boys need visual inspiration!! plus on principle any ad venue that discriminates against trans guys doesn’t deserve my money So bye bye RentMen, I’m out! I’ve been getting creative with my advertising in the new age of SESTA/FOSTA and simply don’t need to pay for highly censored advertising from a company that’s discriminating against me... *shrug* -
I don’t have issues with clients of any body size. A good percentage of my client base could be considered “fat”, but I guess it’s all relative. To me it’s simply not an issue at all. I’m much more interested in connecting with people based on who they are and what they’re into. I don’t necessarily have a more enjoyable time with my “fit” clients. I approach everyone as a human being and depending on personality, chemistry, shared kinks, and attitude, I can definitely have an amazing sexual connection with someone of any body size. Offensive hygiene, OTOH is much more insurmountable. Some times “fat guys” are incorrectly stereotyped as being unhygienic, but the reality is that anyone can practice poor or even horrific hygiene. I’ve found that lots of “fat guys” are extra careful of not falling into this stereotype and are clean as a whistle just about everywhere. Sometimes even TOO clean... after all, I like armpits to taste like a MAN, not like soap or deodorant. Nothing yummier than sex pheromones! I super agree about clients who seem to just wanna lay there and not move around in bed. Majorly annoying. At any body size. If someone has a disability, of course, that’s a different story. I 100% do not expect clients to disclose body size to me in advance of meeting. It’s helpful to know if someone has a disability that may require extra physical labor from me so I can plan accordingly, tho.

Yup. Most of my clients still come from the “straight” (or bisexual or “heteroflexible”) side of things, and I require all of my clients to give me their full name before I will meet them. It’s pretty standard on that side of things. For safety and accountability reasons, as mentioned. Besides, I expect to be treated as a professional, and it’s pretty typical these days to have to provide your full name to any/all professionals who may service you. I understand that some guys may be in the closet or simply unwilling to disclose, and that’s fine with me... but makes us ultimately not a good match. My marketing materials are clear that I require someone’s full name to meet, so anyone who wastes my time thinking they’re some kind of special snowflake is probably going to earn the silent treatment from me in response. I do make exceptions to my full name requirement for clients who have references from other escorts, or who come to me as a personal referral from another escort I know. Having references is not quite the same as providing me with their full name, but it’s an acceptable amount of info to me to move forward. I’m confused abou your sting-related comments tho, because police stings never ask for ID up front as a requirement to meet. The goal of a sting is to arrest as many people as possible in a short period of time, so they create no additional barriers that would dissuade their callers from showing up to be arrested. If an escort is insisting on screening you before meeting, it’s a very good sign that he’s NOT a sting operation. A sting operation just wants to get you there in person at any cost, and hot pics, an affordable price, and easy access (ie no screening) are all consistent MOs. Of course, it’s possible that some clients had learned that providing their ID to an escort up front eased her nerves and made the booking experience go more smoothly, so they just sent a snapshot to the police sting automatically without even being asked for it. That I would definitely believe... Even on the straight side of the industry I would say that more than 50% of the clients will never provide their full name. The first couple years that I worked as an escort, I never would have believed that I had the right to ask for one, or that anyone would hire me if I required it. The reality is, some clients do choose to research their escorts thoroughly and give their full names to those who are reputable and who they badly want to meet. And plenty of reputable escorts use that information for safety/verification only. It’s just not par for the course in the rentboy/men sector of the industry.

BRANDING AND IDEAS FOR MY ADD
FTM Zachary Prince replied to MTLBLCKMASTER's topic in Questions About Hiring
I have the opposite advice about your idea to have a two hour minimum for bookings. I think it’s a good idea and you should go with your gut on that. If you need two hours with the client to offer the experience that you’re envisioning providing, offering less can dilute your brand in a way that’s counter-productive in the long run. When you’re offering a niche service, you don’t have to go for mass appeal or be flexible to offer something besides what you know your BEST OFFERING is... unless this is your only source of income and you’re worried about not getting enough clients in the short-term. But in this sort of long-term minded way, if two hour experiences are what you want to be selling, I find that it’s best to just declare that, focus on attracting like-minded clients, and let guys who “aren’t so sure” about trying you out for two hours sit and think about it while you continue to amp up your branding. Always get better and better about describing specifically the experience you excel at offering. Be specific about what you’re about and let your people come to you. Being more flexible can help gain more clients in the short term, but being firm about having enough time to do what you do in the best way possible also has its benefits in the long run. You’re a lot more likely to have a schedule full of your ideal session types by next year, for example, if you start off INflexible about it now and focus exclusively on attracting clients who are ready to book the session length you desire as a minimum. Speaking as someone who has had a two hour minimum for the last 3-4 years. -
Dick move on his part, but in my opinion he doesn’t owe you a cancellation fee. I’ve driven long-distances and been late for appointments before. Its really stressful/frustrating, and it sucks when there’s traffic outside of your control and time zone changes that are easy to forget about (I was based out of TN for years, so I know exactly what you mean). At the end of the day, though, appointments are scheduled for a certain time. I would never ask a client for a cancellation fee if I missed the start of our scheduled appointment by three hours, or the start of our already-rescheduled meeting by an additional hour. I wouldn’t even expect one if I missed it by thirty minutes... If I wasn’t there at the scheduled start time, he didn’t cancel the appointment. I MISSED it by however much extra time it took me to get there. I can definitely understand the client being tired due to being in town on business and finding starting the appointment three hours late to be completely unacceptable. What I find ridiculously rude and unnecessary about his behaviour is the fact that he apparently still had the energy to see a different escort? At the same time that you would have arrived? AND to brag to you about it? What an asshole...

How to have clients who'd like to travel?
FTM Zachary Prince replied to Keltankan's topic in Questions About Hiring
Ditto... I’m DAMN curious, was this one of those situations where he accompanied you on the trip in exchange for expenses covered, or did he actually charge you a multi-day companionship fee to act that way while you were together? -

I know I said I was done with this thread. And I am. But allegations of child trafficking (?!?) warrant a response from me, even if they are ridiculous, unfounded, and a thinly-feiled attempt to continue bullying me and tarnishing my image long after I excused myself from this conversation. For the record, everyone who I have ever trained into a career as an escort has been OLDER than me (I started escorting when I was 20 and I'm now 28). People sometimes incorrectly assume that escorts who I mentored may have mentored ME, largely because I am noticeably younger. In fact, if you look at the post I made that is being used to stir these allegations, half the point of mentioning that I have trained newbie escorts into the industry was to provide context for my absolute certainty that escorts do not have to be young to succeed, even at a high price point. (But trolls will be trolls.) -

To mock a trans guy who has only had a year’s worth of necessary testosterone in his body about not being muscular enough is a SPECIAL kind of low. Congratulations! -

Intention doesn’t matter when it comes to racism. If you don’t understand that I’m not here to educate you about it. If you care you can educate yourself. It’s racist to assume that I’m lying about being in India and racist to discount my comments because of the fact that my RM ad says I’m there. Even if that wasn’t the INTENTION... Just FYI, I don’t escort in India except once in a blue moon when someone who knows about me from my US marketing travels here for work... I have been escorting in the USA for 8 years, and I just returned to India from a tour of the USA five days ago. I’m done commenting on this thread. I’ve said plenty and the racist commentary and condescension are spoiling my morning. Peace out. -

I spend time in India because I’m Indian. If mocking me for being currently in India doesn’t amount to racism in your opinion, then you don’t understand how racism operates. Unsurprising. I am well aware why my posts came off in a negative way to many of the posters on this thread. Many of their posts came off in a negative way to me as well. Your condescension is unnecessary. I simply do not care. -
Also started focusing on my other streams of income more seriously than before, which include webcamming, custom clip-making, and escort marketing consultations. Not only does this help me feel less panicked about escort ad websites getting deleted, but all of these revenue streams occasionally refer me escort clients. Basically I’m exploring non-criminalised smaller revenue streams that double as subliminal advertising for my escort service. Fleshing out my brand into other arenas. I have been advising friends to consider doing the same.
-
I’m plotting to add a component of my brand that is sex educational in nature, revolving around my niche skills, which are helping beginner bottoms learn how to successfully take stuff in their ass and introducing people to prostate stimulation and orgasms. Planning to host all that content in a separate location from my escort content, but connect the brands in discreet ways such as my name and some overlapping photo content. Basically so that if anyone researches me to SEE if I ever escort, it will be obvious that I do. Seems like it would add a small second stream of income as a sex educator and attract a small number of well-suited clients to me at the same time. I was originally planning to host the sex education content on my personal/escort website, and make it VERY clear that I can provide personal sessions to teach the techniques, but SESTA/FOSTA is gonna have me separating them so that its easier for US clients to reliably access my sex education content even if my escort website starts getting deleted off US servers or blocked by US ISPs...

LOL everyone who hates me because I’m “arrogant”, mixed-race and connected to my culture, and/or not muscular enough, PLEASE feel free to add me to your ignore list. In fact, I encourage it. The ignore function is there for a reason. USE IT! I still have MANY more likes here than posts, so until that changes I’m going to consider my contributions useful to a significant cross-section of the members here. And last I checked it wasn’t against the rules for posting members to spend time in multiple countries. Or maybe its just non-white countries that some of the posters on this forum find it noteworthy to mock people for spending time in?? FYI, I already have multiple streams of income and all of them are related to the sex industry. Escorting just happens to be by far the most lucrative for me, the one that I enjoy the most, and the one that I have been doing the longest. Neither whiny entitled clients who are infuriated by rate-raising threads nor sad bored men who have nothing better to do than make negative comments about my body have been included in my target client base for as long as I understood how to have one. Happy ignoring... -

I’m not here to collect clients who would be offended by these ideas. Nor am I new to commenting on discussion boards. I am fine with turning off clients who would be offended by my suggestion that they should hire less frequently or add another stream of income. It’s basic advice for anyone who finds themself involved in an expensive hobby on a budget. If someone can’t handle basic economic advice, they have an entitlement issue. My target clients don’t have any sense of entitlement to hire with any specific level of frequency. If you can’t afford to hire as often as you like, hire less frequently or add a stream of income. I stand behind the sentiment. I certainly have to make the same kind of economic decisions with regard to my expensive hobbies too. No one has an issue when escorts are suggested to get a 2nd job when they’re struggling to make ends meet (which usually doesn’t involve any $200/hr hobby expenses). But when it’s suggested to clients to do the same if they want to continue to indulge with the same level of frequency in a growingly expensive hobby, suddenly people have a problem with that suggestion. Interesting double standard. -

I’m curious if gay escorts feel like they are in market competition with hookup sites and guys who have free sex. I’ve always thought of freebies as not being my competition. I feel like some people choose to chase freebies and some choose to hire, mostly depending on their life circumstances. Chasing freebies can be time consuming, especially when seeking to fulfil niche sexual desires. -

I never said niche marketing was easy. He has to be very intelligent about where to look for his clients, and patient because even advertising in the right places will take time to yield results. I disagree with the last sentence tho, based on extensive experience. Clients who are willing to pay $1000 and have found someone who they connect deeply with who understands their kink in an intimate way are generally not price shopping around... if they are seeing other escorts they can generally afford to do both. Yes, you do have to be extremely talented at your niche to retain your clients. In the case of this particular niche, which I also have a good amount of specific experience with, cuckolding (which includes sex denial) clients often prefer to fantasise that they are in a long term relationship with their escort and are not eager to switch to someone else, tho they may see multiple escorts long-term if they can afford it. I definitely agree with you that it’s not the easiest angle to work, just pointing out that it’s possible for that approach to be successful with the right finesse. What works successfully as a niche for any given escort may not be obvious at first glance. When I worked as a “female escort”, after a few years of gaining experience and marketing more generically, I decided that the worst part about escorting was shaving my body hair and I simply stopped doing it on a hunch that it could work out for me. Many people thought it was ludicrous that I would try to work with unshaved armpits (especially because mine were SO hairy), and even MORE ludicrous that I would dare to charge $1000 while working with hairy armpits. $1000 for a woman with hairy armpits? Clients thought it was so outrageous that they started threads on multiple national forums complaining about how disgusting it was and declaring that I would surely be out of business within a month or two! After all, 99% of straight clients want shaved armpits, right?? I started making six figures for the first time in my life within a year... the body hair fetishists went crazy and booked the shit out of me and I traveled almost the entire USA riding the success of not being afraid to do something weird and play to my strengths. I don’t think that these two situations are immediately comparable, but my experience taught me that a lot of different types of success are possible that aren’t immediately obvious from glancing at the market. -

I’m curious what you think is so different about gay men that would make you so confident. I realise that the “market norms” are different now, but these things do change over time, and losing all of our internet ad venues is certainly a game-changing event in the industry... Is there something about gay men’s psychology or spending habits that you think differ drastically from straight men’s? -

That’s actually really the point of pricing a niche offering more expensively than something with broad appeal. At $1000 an hour, he doesn’t really need many clients. In fact, a few good regulars is all you need to be successful with something highly-specific like that. Then you don’t even have to advertise anymore, since you’re the only one offering what you’re offering and clients tend to be loyal in that circumstance. I don’t have $1000 minimum because I cant bare the idea or charging less or don’t think of myself as someone who ever could charge $200 an hour, it’s because the experience I’m selling is extremely niche, hence my business model is designed for financial success and widespread availability without widespread appeal being an option for me. I don’t want to have to pretend to be someone or something I’m not in order to have the mass appeal I would need to survive doing this for $200 an hour. I prefer to do three hour sessions rather than one hour sessions tho, so I just have those as my minimum. Since I’m employing such a low volume business model, it’s important to me to offer the best possible experience to every client I meet & I know that 2-3 hours is the correct amount of time for that (specifically for the niche that I offer). I can see how an hour is much more practical for a denying-you-sex fetish than what I do tho. -

I can definitely see why that approach wouldn’t work... unless it was literally being marketed as some kind of kinky cuckolding experience. Cuz those guys are out there and actually DO enjoy paying to be denied service. A niche offering for sure. Maybe he should have tried on FetLife???
