Practice makes perfect! Blow a lot of different guys and pay attention to their reactions. You’ll learn... Also, don’t be afraid to ask what someone likes if they’re difficult... most guys can tell ya!

Maybe start a new thread about this. There are numberous expenses involved in escorting and I’m not in the mood to draw up a comprehensive list on my own. I kind of feel like you’re being intellectually lazy, too. There are some blatantly obvious operational expenses that every small business owner has to deal with. Perhaps google could help you learn about those. If you think every escort is a college boy stuffing cash under his mattress and that our clients magically find us for free with no financial investments on our part, then you’re really in some kind of unrealistic fantasy-land... that’s simply not how it works.
-
LOL @ anyone who thinks escorts base our pricing for companionship on mainstream society’s ideas about who is attractive and who is an “ogre”. You have some seriously wrong ideas about what it takes to succeed as an escort. People who are that shallow don’t last long in this industry. We charge for our time and companionship. Plain and simple. Whether you’re an ogre, an elf, a faerie, a hobbit, a troll, a bear or a fox. Just be over the age of 18... and leave your ego about your “non-ogre” status at the door. If you really think that the majority of our clients are seriously ugly and that you’re some kind of special snowflake for being normal-looking, you have some internalized issues to work through... We charge for our time because it’s valuable and we are providing a service. And because living under capitalism requires money, and sexual entertainers/healers deserve to earn well and live comfortably if we are talented at our jobs. Not because our clients are ugly. The value of our companionship service don’t decrease just because you consider yourself to be better looking than average.

Yes, it’s common. Like Drew said, just mention it in your advertisement. Some escorts even require deposits for ALL sessions. That is not common, tho. Many escorts do require deposits for all sessions over 2/3/6 hours tho. Not only for overnights. So it’s up to you which lengths of bookings you want to require deposits for.
-
You mentioned that the escort gave you a very good rate because you already have an established relationship online. That’s a very sweet gesture on his part. Sometimes escorts do this, because they want you to agree to the extended booking and want to make you feel special... and then regret it later. It’s not because we change our minds about you being very special after all. It’s just that getting paid less than our standard rates can bother us EVEN IF IT WAS OUR IDEA! Sometimes we are under economic pressure to get you to agree to the trip or simply feeling generous in the moment when we give the quote. Then oops, later we wish we hadn’t offered such a generous discount. I’m not saying everyone does this, but it’s a relatively COMMON story that I hear. This can make us reluctant to give our very best service or agree to repeat trips, just because of our subconscious irritation with ourselves for underquoting the value of our labor. Whether an escort has made a mistake in underquoting or completely knew what he was doing and quoted you an amount that he feels GREAT about is impossible to know, and probably depends on how experienced he is as an escort, among other factors. What in the world does all this have to do with tipping? Well, if he shows you the time of your life, you might consider tipping an amount that brings his total compensation (not including the flight) closer to whatever his actual/published rate would be for that amount of time normally. Match his generous gesture of a discounted session with a generous gesture of paying the full amount anyway. As a tip. If your experience is great. It can go a long way in establishing a positive and generous dynamic between you two in the ongoing future. Tipping is not “expected” when it comes to hiring escorts in the USA. But it can definitely mean a lot to us and is highly appreciated. We often go “above and beyond” for clients in terms of what we bring to the table, and it’s always heart-warming to have the extra effort acknowledged with a tip. That said, if someone barely fulfills their end of the bargain, of course you might not feel inclined to give one, and that is also perfectly fine. I also want to note that as small business owners, most escorts keep nowhere near 100% of the fee we charge. We typically have operational expenses that eat up a decent chunk of that sticker price. But I agree that tipping your waiter/waitress is totally different because they do not set the price of their own labor and are paid an extremely low hourly wage that ASSUMES there will be tips involved, and that’s definitely not the case with most independent escorts either.

Yeah in retrospect I can’t tell if he’s being innocently unknowing or deliberately disingenuous either. The combination of no profile pic, no identifying details as an escort on his profile, and my interpretation of tone made it seem disingenuous to me too. But maybe my responses were too harsh in tone. Regardless, the heart/truth of the matter is the same. Sorry to the OP if my tone was harsh, but I stand by the heart of what I’ve said.

Nowhere did I state that this thread needed to be deleted or express any authority over this forum. I stated openly exactly the amount of information I was comfortable stating openly! The fact that it is generally seen as bad form to discuss this topic openly with clients was a piece of information I was communicating. Giving advice to another escort on how to communicate amongst ourselves about sensitive topics that are not meant to be client-facing is not an attempt at moderating this forum. Sorry if you can’t underatand the difference. Also not my problem tho.

If Rentmasseur can do it why can’t Masseurfinder?
FTM Zachary Prince replied to Hey_Jay's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Actually... SESTA/FOSTA are not limited to businesses based in the USA. Facilitating human trafficking is an extraditable offense to most governments in the world, and the US government CAN charge business owners who live overseas under the new laws. Being based elsewhere doesn’t protect anyone unless the government of their country is willing to refuse a US request for extradition based on an international human trafficking charge. So no, sites based outside the US are NOT free to do what they want. The owners of RentMen & RentMasseur are being very bold and putting themselves in legal danger by continuing to operate. -
Clients read this forum. Hence my note that discussing this topic openly in front of clients is typically considered bad form. This is better discussed privately in places that only escorts have access to read. If you received the information you needed privately, that’s great! Discussing the topic openly in front of clients is usually considered bad form, and Since you didn’t even know that these types of sites existed, it seemed relevant to inform you of. Just because this is the Ask An Escort forum does not mean that all topics are appropriate here. Regardless I’m pleased that you received the information you needed... privately. It’s better if no further details are provided on this very CLIENT-facing platform tho. In the future, if you need information from other escorts that should not be discussed in front of clients, it’s best to add a note to your OP asking for responses via DM only.

Nope but done quite a lot of goat milking. I was surprised to learn that I’m very good with goats. Who knew?

And? Your point is?

Any sites take non-US-citizens?
FTM Zachary Prince replied to + tassojunior's topic in Questions About Hiring
RentMen definitely doesn’t ask for US ID. Just look at how many guys are using it in Mumbai... I heard of another site changing it’s policy after SESTA/FOSTA to require US ID for anyone who wanted to post ads within the US. I assume this is to protect themselves from accusations of facilitating international human trafficking... -

Facebook is pretty dangerous for anyone with privacy concerns to use. I don’t doubt that it works for anyone who is comfortable with Facebook. I personally would not use it. Absolute disaster for privacy. Also, you may be a good guy who is never going to abuse the money transfer system there, but what happens when someone pays an escort that way and then tries to reverse the transfer later claiming he was scammed and reporting the escort’s profile to Facebook? Facebook doesn’t allow escorts to use their service. I don’t know what would happen to the monetary dispute, but I’m pretty sure it would be bad for the escort. There are tons of abusive clients out there who look for ways to pay escorts that can be reversed later. So this is something we need to be particularly cautious about. A lot of airlines upgrade frequent flyers to business class readily, and a lot of us escorts are VERY frequent flyers. And of course, some clients are very generous... -

An advance deposit is a standard ask for travel bookings. Typically 50% of the total. You can have clients mail blank money orders to you in a magazine and fill the name in yourself. You can also ask him to buy Vanilla Visa gift cards, which you can use to pay bills online or convert into real money using PayPal. I don’t recommend accepting PayPal directly from clients, ever. Not only will they see your full legal name when they send you the money, but they can also reverse the transaction months down the line, well after you have delivered service. And PayPal will ban YOU for life. Escorts are not allowed to use their service at all, and even the accusation of being an escort can get you banned. Thus it’s much safer to never share your PayPal account with a client directly. Instead, ask for pre-paid gift cards. There are tricks to get the money off the cards and into your bank account for a small processing fee. Feel free to “ask a lot” of any client who is asking you to fly across the country and spend a weekend with him. He is “asking a lot” too. As a personal anecdote, one time a client flew me across the country to keep me up in Vegas for two days so he could sneak away once or twice a day while he was there on a boring trip with his family. He promised he would arrange my hotel and give me the details when I arrived. I reached the Vegas airport after a 3 hour flight and asked him which hotel I should head to. No answer... I desperately needed to replace my phone, so I headed to a shop to purchase one while I waited to hear from him. Still no answer... Finally another hour later, he emails me to say he needs to cancel! After I’ve already been in his city for two hours! I would have been devastated had I not taken a 50% deposit in advance for the session. But I was able to book my own hotel and not sweat too hard about losing money on the trip. Since he had ditched me, I posted last minute ads and snagged another client. And guess what? My original client ended up getting free the following day, I extended my trip by an extra night, and he ended up seeing me the next couple days and paid me the balance that he owed me for the full trip anyway. If I had not taken an advance deposit for that trip, can you imagine the pickle I might have been in? Taking advance deposits allows you to stay secure during your trip no matter what kinds of crazy emergencies or changes of plans may happen on the client’s end. And that can be very, very valuable. Last-minute changes DO unexpectedly happen, discretion-related needs sometime trump everything else, and having that deposit money in your possession can protect you from a lot. I take bookings without deposits, but I definitely never go out of my way to travel to a client without one. Keeps things simpler and drama-free. -

To handle the flight booking, you can price the flight on Southwest.com and then have the client send you a digital Southwest gift card so that you can book the flight yourself. All he needs is an email address to send it to. And it doesn’t even have to be the same email address that your Southwest.com account is under. You will receive a gift card code that can be used to book your tickets. I would personally never let a client book them for me, because they could always cancel the return ticket and leave me stranded somewhere. Of course most clients wouldn’t, but SOME clients do the wackiest things sometimes! Better safe than sorry! -
Yup. But it’s generally seen as bad form to discuss this topic openly with clients.

I feel like I get hired for my ability to teach all the time! But not to improve “performance”. I teach men how to receive penetration and connect with their prostates in a smooth, seductive, pleasureful and pain-free manner. How to relax into the absolute earthquake that is one’s first prostate orgasm. How to take a fist for the first time. Etc. I dunno if any of those are considered “performance upgrades”, but guys sure are thrilled with me for being able to teach them! My ability to teach these things is probably my strongest asset as an escort, along with my ability to make people feel comfortable very quickly.

How much of a one-hour session is actual sex?
FTM Zachary Prince replied to jbsjbs99's topic in Questions About Hiring
Well it depends... how long can you last before you explode?? I tend to push my clients up against a wall and have my tongue and fingers inside their nooks and crannies within moments of my hotel room door closing. First impressions really set the tone. It’s not unusual for me to drop to my knees right there behind the door. Oh... you need a shower? OK, I guess I can give you a moment for that. After all, my tongue wants to be able to go *everywhere*. My sexual repertoire is so varied that an hour is really not enough time for my sessions. It’s why I have a two hour minimum. The sex I have with my clients tends to take a minimum of 1.5 hours between oral every which way, fucking in both directions, prostate stimulation, tease & denial (more oral), and the big finish. And usually guys cum so hard that they need 5-10 minutes before they can form complete sentences let alone get showered and dressed. So I don’t really have an answer for how much sex happens in a one hour appointment. One hour appointments don’t exist for me. When I used to schedule one hour appointments, I was kicking people out well before either of us wanted them to have to leave. My 90 minute appointments consistently ran overtime. Hence now I have a two hour minimum and all my clients seem happier. The way I personally like to have sex, I don’t even understand how to fit it all into a one hour booking. Whenever guys come to me for an hour thinking they only want to try X and Y activities, they always end up wanting to do more once we are together. I agree with the other comments that say every encounter is different tho. You shouldn’t really try to pin a number of minutes on the sexual activity you should expect from any particular length of appointment. -
Companion travel expectations
FTM Zachary Prince replied to + Reisr30's topic in Questions About Hiring
Everyone’s expectations vary. Its really best for you to ask the escort who you’d like to hire for travel. I definitely know some escorts who require business class flights for anything over 6 hours. I personally only require business class flight bookings when I’m traveling for 10 hours or more, internationally, and there is no direct flight available. I book all my own flights tho, so I explain my expectations to each client on a case by case basis and quote the total amount required to make the trip happen. Booking Amount. Travel Costs. Deposit amount. Balance amount. For me, deposit amount is half the booking plus the full amount of travel costs in advance. So if for example the value of the booking is $3000, and the cost of the round trip flight is going to be $767, I might round up to $800 to account for flight price fluctuations and misc airport costs, and quote the full cost of the booking at $3800. I would require $2300 as a deposit (half the booking fee plus the total cost of travel), and the balance owed by the client at the time of our meeting would be $1500. This is broken down and explained as clearly to my clients as I’ve explained it here, each and every time I receive a serious inquiry for a booking that requires me to travel. Most experienced escorts who travel will similarly have their own expectations in mind and be prepared to communicate them with you. -
Would you like to have an agent?
FTM Zachary Prince replied to marylander1940's topic in Questions About Hiring
No. I require absolute control over who is granted a session with me and who is declined one. But I totally understand why having an agent is appealing to some people. The take in the OP is not an excellent argument. It is an ignorant one that misses many key points about why most escorts in the US do not use agents. First of all, agents in the US do not charge 10-15%. Almost no agent in existence in the US offers more than a 50% cut, especially in the case where they handle not only your advertising but also your bookings/scheduling and client arrival communications. 2nd, AUTONOMY. Agents are greedy and want to fill an escort’s schedule regardless of whether the client sounds nice or sounds pushy and possibly disrespectful. The agent doesn’t have to be in the room with the client. Escorts develop an important, protective sense of intuition when handling our own bookings that allows us to identify and decline most abusive varieties of clients in advance. 3rd, the distinction made between $300/hr escort labor and $12/hr secretarial labor is a totally false distinction. $300/hr is merely a billable rate. Not the actual value of an hour of the professional’s labor. That value is simply a client-facing numerical value. There is absolutely no standard correlation between that number and the amount of money that an escort is compensated per hour of his work. Do not analyse it as such. It renders your argument baseless. Escorts have nearly uncountable variety of various types of unbillable labor that also need to be factored into your math to even attempt to come up with an hourly rate. Let me save you the suspense... it’s nowhere near $300 an hour that we earn after all is said and done. I’m not trying to attack or abuse the author of the quoted OP here. Just not interested in seeing this heralded as some kind of excellent argument when it’s not one. -
There are so many hoops in my booking process... it’s not like clients with cash in their possession just give me an address and I show up. If someone is capable of complying with my booking procedure, they are clearly capable of consenting to an encounter with me. Whatever their mental disabilities or diversities may be, my ability to service them is limited only by their ability to make me feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I am not observing and analysing my clients to search for mental challenges. I find the framing of this question weird. I am not a psychiatrist nor qualified to diagnose anyone. The only things I’m carefully observing new clients for are red flag behaviours like boundary pushing, malicious drama-stimulating gossip about other escorts, disrespectful generalisations about people in my line of work, controlling and invasive lines of conversation, etc.
-
I think you’d be surprised the number of people who book escorts primarily for companionship across the board. It’s true that it’s rare for sex to not be part of the equation. But I think quite a large percentage of clients are motivated by companionship more than anything. Sex is a part of how we connect with each other. But the connection is what they are after. I would expect this to be true across the board. Requests for companionship without sex are rare but they do happen. And people’s ideas of what constitutes “sex” can also vary widely.
-
I feel neutral. I have seen many clients with disabilities. My rate per hour certainly does not go up, and I would think it would be crazy and unethical to charge a higher rate to someone for having a disability... I do not treat clients with disabilities any differently except for the ways that it’s required to accommodate them enjoying themselves. For example I do not usually agree to “on top” positions for an extended amount of time with most clients. I find it unnecessarily physically exhausting. I like to service people but I see no reason for clients not to share in the physical effort required to fuck. In the case of someone who is physically unable to achieve certain positions, though, I might expect to have to do more of the physical labor required to play. I would definitely plan my day accordingly if I knew in advance by not scheduling any other demanding physical activity that day. I have a wheelchair-bound client who is paralysed from the nipples down who books me for 8 hour sessions sometimes. I always take the entire next day off to recover. It requires a lot of me physically... Disabled people are people who need sex just like anyone else. In fact many are hot and fun to be with sexually, and often face extra barriers against casual hookups being an option. I usually have a great experience and have no complaints.
-
Not true. Escorts are constantly asked to visit places we have never gone before. Google maps travel estimates can be wildly inaccurate. Especially when you have a multi-hour drive during evening traffic. Mocha consistently offers to drive long-distance to meet his clients. I assume that’s why he’s frequently running late. I have worked many different business models over the years and there is always an increased risk of being late when driving between cities to meet a client, ESPECIALLY if we are unfamiliar with the exact route. For example, imagine if an escort at BWI was contacted at 4pm about a meeting in DC at 8pm. He might think he has plenty of time to get there if he’s unfamiliar with the area. Obviously he has to shower and eat before he goes. Ok 8pm appointment... he checks google maps. Hmm ok it’s an hour drive to DC. He needs to leave by 6:30-6:45pm, right? WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG. But the escort doesn’t know that, because he’s not local. It’s very easy to end up late in situations like that.
